Owls Nest Cottage is on Spring Creek Channel of Lake Seminole, GA. 3 bdrms, 1 full bath, updated & comfortable, max 5 guests. Arrive to a quiet & safe neighborhood. Cottage very conveniently located & clean. Included is WIFI, basic ROKU. As our guest you may stream your personal apps.
Covered dock offers bench. Water level approx 12' for dock fishing. (NO electric @ dock). Great place to sit & enjoy wildlife on serene & peaceful Spring Creek Channel or enjoy the sight & sounds of jumping fish at Sunrise. The full moons rise off the dock are gorgeous.
Three Bedrooms:
1 King bdrm, 1 double & Twin bdrm, 1 Twin bdrm.
LR has double fouton and large leather sofa.
Large yard to park multiple boats. Very close to public Boat Ramps @ Big Jims' Oyster Bar & R Cafe. Approx 1 & half mile down stream.
Perfect location for good fishing or enjoying a quiet place to relax on the water.
*Outside outlet in back of cottage for charging 12/24 volt. Guests bring your extension cords.
Outside fenced yard with basic Weber charcoal grill, table for 4 & umbrella for thode hot summer afternoons. Fenced area is perfect for setting up Fish Fryers for catch of the day. NO frying fish inside. (Cleaning fish has to be completed at dock). All the comforts of home, full stocked kitchen for your getaway. Always clean fresh towels & bed linens. Our team takes a great deal of pride in keeping this little cottage sparkling for every guests arrival & stay.
There is a washer. NO dryer. But there's plenty of space outside if you need to dry washed items during your stay.

Cute and Quiet Cottage

Needed to get away for a relaxing weekend and go fishing. That's exactly what we did! No problems during our stay and we used a local fishing guide too. Had a very good time!

GA River front

Just now We loved our stay in the Owls Nest. It was quiet and decorated like I would think a river house would look like. Very comfortable. And we loved the dock with the bench where we spent a lot of time, sitting watching the scattered fisherman and listening to the birds while sipping coffee. Julie was amazing answering all of our questions and providing referrals of local areas of interest. We hope to be repeat visitors. It was a nice quiet getaway from our hustle bustle lifestyle. Thank you Julie!

The Owls Nest

We enjoyed our stay and will definitely return with family. The Owls Nest was very clean and a great location. Big Jim’s Cafe was not far from the cabin and we enjoyed the food there. The host (Julie) was very informative and followed up on the questions I had before leaving for our stay at The Owls Nest. Very pleasant and enjoyed talking with her.

Peaceful getaway

We only had a couple of nights at this blissful getaway in a clean, well equipped lakeside cottage off of the beaten track. Evenings spent fishing off of the local dock where only the sound of fish jumping and birds calling could be heard really was idyllic.

Very nice home

The owners were great to work with. Very helpful with information. We used it as a fishing getaway and for a few older guys just looking for a small place to fish and reminisce, it was pretty perfect.

Best weekend ever!

My wife wanted to take me for a weekend birthday getaway and found the Owl’s Nest for our stay. It was absolutely the perfect little lake house in a perfect location with an absolute All Star of a host! Accommodations were as we expected and better. I was hesitant to leave such a positive review bc a part of me would like to keep it a secret but I just can’t- It’s too good and Julie-Gayle is just too great!

Great fishing cabin on the lake.

Great place for a few buddies to stay while fishing. Plenty of parking and close to Big Jim’s. Small things were included such as paper plates, cups, coffee, etc. that saved us time and money at the store. Quiet location right on the water. Julie was an excellent host with great communication. Will book again in the future.

Spring Creek Drive runs along Spring Creek Channel & has a small covered dock. You can tie off your fishing boats or kyacks onto the private dock. Our early risers can sit & watch the sunrise. You can enjoy beautiful, private & peaceful views from LR & kitchen window overlooking the lake or front twin bdrm area. Catchup on work at work area overlooking a natural & peaceful view. The private covered dock provides spectacular early Sunrises & also the rising of big full moons. The side yard is fenced with Weber Grill & fire pit for evening camp fire. Fish off the dock or watch the spectacular sunrises, full moons & boats casting their lines. Elec outlets for charging boat batteries located back outside of cottage. Bring your extension cords. **No electricity on dock** Large front & side yard for multiple boats parking.

Approx 5 miles from Seminole State Park, 3 miles from 4 way stop - Dollar General & Sunnys for gas. We're 20 miles East to Bainbridge or 20 miles N to Donalsonville, GA.
