This home is the perfect wine country get away! It features a beautiful backyard w/ a heated pool year round!! It also has a fire pit and dining table for you to enjoy the California weather durning your stay. Inside there is a large family room, updated kitchen and 4 spacious bedrooms.
It is perfectly located only minutes from Hwy. 12 (valley of the moon) that takes you right into Sonoma. Or you can travel 20 min in the other direction to Calistoga and the Napa valley!

Our family of 8 really enjoyed the group spaces (large family room & dining room). But everyone REALLY loved the pool and hot tub! And the 3/4 bath built by the pool area was brilliant.The basket full of beach towels was wonderful!Kitchen had plenty of dishes, flatware, etc.(Guests who do food prep would love a sharp knife or two.)We were all surprised that there was no access to a washer/dryer. We’d have liked to take care of all those towels.I would also have liked to vacuum the family room as leaves blew in or dirt tracked in, but no vacuum cleaner, either.

I don’t write these reviews lightly ! If you value cleanliness and are sensitive to mildew and pinesol smells . I would look elsewhere . Make sure you check the bathrooms and sheets upon arrival and not at bedtime . - Unfortunately the sheets had clearly not been cleaned for our stay and were covered with various hairs and stains on the blankets . I’ve NEVER experienced this . It was so bad that I had to order new sheets at 9pm. - The bathtubs also had tons of mildew. A blind was missing several prices with a broken rod smoke detectors were missing . There were hairs all over the bathroom indicating they weren’t cleaned yet still tested of pinesol. - the fridge also reeked of a combo of pinesol and mildew . Our food bags even smelled after leaving . The outside bins were filled with beer boxes and bottles. I sent several pictures to the host and offered to send more. We left after the first night and stayed elsewhere . At the time they charged 400 a night which is insane for the condition . They reimbursed 1200 at least , but declined to reimburse the cleaning fee , which is unfortunate given the place was NOT clean. Vrbo has yet to reimburse taxes and I’m disputing that as well as the cleaning fee . I hope that vrbo will do the right thing . I hope the hosts take this review to heart and get this place in more acceptable condition .

Great place for 7 adults!

We were in town for bike riding and wine tasting. Great set up - well stocked kitchen. The layout was great. Hot tub and heated pool were wonderful after many miles on the bikes.The front is on a busy street which was not an issue for us, but may be for others.

Rose all day… You won’t regret your stay!!

This house was perfect for our girls’ getaway. Comfortable, soft sheets. Spacious. Appreciated the 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. Loved the hot tub & fire table! Wasn’t warm enough to use the pool, but the backyard was a nice oasis in the evenings.

Great for Family

This house is awesome! 4 full bedrooms, 3 bathrooms (1 is outside by pool), huge family room with couch and dining room to sit. We were staying here for a family event in town. While we didn’t use it, the pool was heated and backyard nicely arranged (it rained while we were there, otherwise we’d have enjoyed the outdoor lounge furniture and bbq!) The fact that it is dog friendly made it the perfect choice for me. I’d definitely recommend and will stay here again in the future!

Christmas Eve Family

This is our second year at this house and I would highly recommend it. The house is very spacious and open floor plan for our family. We love the heated pool, hot tub and fire pit outdoors as well. It's the perfect home to celebrate Christmas Eve and Christmas morning with my grandchildren! Very clean and has everything we need to have a fun time!

Great place for a large/extended family

The property was clean, appointed well, and worked out nicely for our family to stay at and to host a Thanksgiving dinner. Though there were a couple of small issues with supplies (7 place-settings for an 8-person property, only 5 chairs at the 6-person dining table), the property manager was VERY responsive and dropped off both missing items first thing the next morning, which we really appreciated. The house is on a busy street (Mission Blvd) but it wasn't too noisy or disruptive. We generally enjoyed our stay and would certainly stay there again. Thanks!

Great House!

We had a group of 7 woman stay for a wine weekend and this house was perfect. Newley renovated and clean and a really nice layout for hanging out! The drive into Napa from the house was absolutely scenic and breathtaking(we took the backway along the hillside) and it was about a 30-40 minute drive. The house location was super close to lots of grocery stores, gas stations, etc. We did a delivery service one night and it was super quick and easy. Overall- a really nice place to stay in Wine Country!

Girlfriends trip to CA Sonoma wine country

This home was perfect for 5 girlfriends to gather (4 bedrooms and one pull out couch), enjoy reservations at a handful of wineries and eat both in and out. Proximity to the grocery, theater, etc and the SFO shuttle drop off faciliated our 5 night stay. The home was spacious, very clean and both kitchen and bathrooms were well appointed and equipped. The host's nearby contact was responsive and helpful both prior to our stay and then subsequently after check out when we thought something had been left.

We stayed here for a bachelorette trip and had a great time! The house was actually bigger than we expected, which made it super easy and comfortable for our whole group to hang out together. It slept all of us without feeling cramped, and the location was perfect—really close to downtown Santa Rosa and an easy drive to wineries. I do think the name of the property noting it is a home near Calistoga may be a little misleading considering it is quite literally a home in Santa Rosa, which yes, is close to Calistoga, but I don't think it's right to put that in the title of the home.A couple of things to note: the backyard wasn’t quite as cute as the photos made it look, and the locks on the doors could definitely be better for some piece of mind. Some of the photos of the house didn’t totally match what we saw in person, but honestly, the extra space we weren't expecting made up for it.Overall, it was a great home base for a fun weekend, and we’d recommend it to anyone looking for a spot that fits a bigger group and keeps you close to the action!

Neighborhood home

Nice size house, bonus room was nice. Pool was surprisingly warm, hot tub was nice to sit in after a long day of wine tasting. We enjoyed the fire pit. Could use a little maintenance. No freezer door handle, none of the doors closed easily, outdoor furniture broken. It is on a busy street, but did not find that to be a noise issue. Was a nice option for 6 adults.
