Our family loved the cabin! I have 4 boys, and had so much fun in the game room. The hot tub and outdoor seating were great. The mountain view from the porch and our bedroom was spectacular. We would definitely stay again.

Suggest strongly that you provide information to any renters, that road to property is a one lane narrow road up to top of mountain. Can be very scary if road is wet, icy or snow. Cabin is spacious in all rooms including bath and bedrooms. Great sunset views....outside. All windows needed additional cleaningKitchen was functional but suggest that labels be placed on all the drawers identifying contents to facilitate the "looking" for kitchen items when needed. Better cleaning everywhere is recommended. Example, kitchen sink had what we believe emptied dust container and three white washers just lying in sink. Hot tub was functional good size for 4 and water was clear.

We do provide detailed, step-by-step driving directions to the cabin prior to arrival, along with a strong recommendation for 4WD due to the steep, narrow mountain roads. We understand that mountain driving can be intimidating, especially for guests unfamiliar with the area. We also appreciate your comments regarding cleanliness and kitchen organization. We apologize that certain areas did not meet our cleaning standards and will share your concerns with our housekeeping team for improvement. Thank you again for staying with us, and we hope you'll consider visiting the Smoky Mountains again!

The location was perfect and It was very clean and one of the best stocked cabins we have rented. Could use one more large pot. One night we made pasta and needed one large pot or sauce and another for the pasta, but we managed. It was great to have a blender available! So many games and things to do in the cabin. Every bed was comfortable and put together nicely. The deck was wonferful to sit on with a really nice hot tub. Great views. The firepit was nice too. There was 9 in our group and we had more than enough room. We thought our pin number to enter was for the door keypad but after a little time we realized it was for the lock to open the box for a key. I highly recommend this cabin!

Perfect Mountain Vacation

Great game room!

Nice house with plenty of space. The best part for teens and tweens was the game room. Great central location 20 minute drive to all the area attractions

Great Mountain Retreat

Remote Mountain top location make this spot a real treat. It is still within a 20 to 30 min drive to the NOC and Bryon City. We loved our time at Sunset Vista!

Great spot with a “wow” view

Good sized cabin for our family of 6…our four boys enjoyed the game room garage, plenty of space for all to spread out. Hot tub at sunset was pretty awesome, but come back for the star show later in the evening - spectacular!

Relaxation in the mountains

We had such a great time with the fully stocked game room and beautiful kitchen. Our family only gets together like this once a year and this cabin made it fabulous ❤️

Family Christmas Vacation

Awesome house!

Loved sunset vista! The view was amazing and the house was stocked with everything needed. I will say you do need 4WD or AWD vehicle. Driveway is steep and a few sharp turns but the view was so worth it! House was clean and great for our group of six and the pups.

Beautiful Outdoor Setting

Loved the property. Beautiful outdoor space with huge, comfy porch, nice hot tub and hammock. Teens enjoyed the garage hangout, games, stereo, ping pong and shuffleboard. Great trips over to Cherokee to see the elk, whitewater rafting in Bryson City at NOC lots of great meals around town.

Best Smokey Mountain Cabin Rental Ever!!!

Over the last 25 years or so we probably rented cabins in Virginia , Northeast Georgia and North Carolina more than a dozen times. Sunset Vista is by far the best one ever. The location is a comfortable drive to the most secluded setting and in reasonably close proximity to many of the amenities came for. Hiking, was our main attraction and we were close to many stunning trails. But the home was perfect for relaxing and recharging. The sunsets, the fire pit, the gas fire place, the hot tub, the equipped kitchen and the comfortable furniture made it a perfect stay for us. We would definitely come back and we strongly encourage others to stay there.

The View Takes All

The highlight of the property is the incredible view of the Smoky Mountains! The property is perfectly positioned at the tippy top of the mountain, facilitating beauty, peace and tranquility. The house was extremely well stocked with basics plus ALL the extras. We felt like the house was a destination in and of itself. The water pressure was very low, but didn't stop us. The one downside (only if not prepared), is traversing the mountain in a vehicle that is anything less than 4 wheel drive. A truly wonderful mountain vacation destination!
