Maison de montagne de cinq ans construite avec amour par ses propriĂ©taires! TrĂšs paisible et isolĂ© sur une route privĂ©e juste en haut de la montagne de la ville. Maison Ă  la fois rustique, Ă©lĂ©gante et confortable de 3 Ă©tages avec mezzanine et 3Ăšme BR a son propre balcon privĂ©! Porches couverts, bain Ă  remous, foyer, table de pique-nique et barbecue au charbon de bois profitent au maximum de l’extĂ©rieur et d’une vue magnifique sur les crĂȘtes!
La chambre principale et la salle de bain se trouvent Ă  l’étage principal avec baignoire et douche sĂ©parĂ©es. Grande salle a des plafonds voĂ»tĂ©s avec un foyer au bois en pierre. Cuisine ouverte avec poutres apparentes, appareils en acier inoxydable, comptoirs en granit et armoires bien garnies pour tous vos besoins de cuisson.
Deux chambres Ă  l'Ă©tage avec une salle de bain complĂšte et une mezzanine sĂ©parĂ©e pour les jeux et les casse-tĂȘte ou tout simplement pour se dĂ©tendre.

AMAZING! Wow! Great cabin and great location! It’s close to the Polar Express! The best part is the cleanliness of the cabin!! I’ve never stayed in a place this clean! You know it’s clean when you see a squeegee in the shower! We will most definitely be back for another stay!!!

Cabin was very cozy, kitchen well-stocked. Beautiful place. One of the bedrooms has a very squeaky, saggy mattress but that's the only issue. We didn't use the hot tub - maybe if it was easier to get to. Didn't make a fire outside bc we were too tired from long busy days! Great location near everything. Loved it!

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful, well-maintained cabin. It was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed for a relaxing week in the mountains. The location was perfect- close to Bryson City downtown and several great spots to explore. We especially enjoyed riding the train, visiting nearby towns, and seeing the Highland cows at Walnut Creek Farm, which was our daughter’s favorite part of the trip. The peaceful setting and gorgeous views made it the perfect family getaway. Highly recommend!

The stay at Sunset Ridge was phenomenal! It was so much more than I expected. The owners were exceptionally responsive and helpful. The place is secluded as the description says but you can hear neighbors in the distance but they can’t be seen. I can’t wait to come back for another stay.

Nice place to stay in a perfect location, with lots of privacy, great amenities, and beautiful view. Pictures online do not do the cabin justice. Wrap around balcony with porch swing and hot tub were great for relaxing at the end of our adventurous days. Thanks for letting us stay in your lovely cabin!

Best stay ever!

I just want to say that this was the best stay ever. The home was clean and well stock with everything you will need for cooking. But if you are a person that need to sleep with a tv, this is not the place for you no tv in the rooms. But that was the best sleep i eber had. The best part was the porch swing.

Peaceful and Beautiful

The pictures do not do the cabin justice, it is beautiful! It is beautifully decorated. We really enjoyed our stay. The views are amazing on the porch! We sat on the porch drinking coffee and it was so relaxing! It's close to town yet tucked away from everything! Definitely will go again.

A Great Place to Stay

This house was close to Bryson City and secondly to all the great towns in the Smokey Mountains in North Carolina. The property was close to town but also secluded so it was quiet. We enjoyed the grill and the fire pit. The bedrooms were roomy and the beds comfortable. The furniture was nice and the house decorated beautifully. There was only one tv but we didn’t mind that. It gave us a chance to unplug. The WiFi worked fine.

Polar Express Getaway

We all thoroughly enjoyed our stay at The Sunset Ridge. The area was secluded yet you had neighbors so you felt safe. The only complaint we had was the outdoor lighting situation under the porch where the hot tub is located. We were two moms with our 8 year old daughters who loved that area. The owner let us know where some flashlights were and it helped. It did not alter our enjoyment of the cabin and if we are ever in this area, we would love to be able to rent this beautiful cabin again. The owner was very quick to respond to any questions I had.

Peacefulness Found

This property was everything stated and more. Even inside the cabin, you still felt a sense of the outdoors. The cabin was decorated beautifully, with more than enough room to move around. It was clean and stocked with everything you would need. I highly recommend this property. I really didnt want to leave.

Wonderful home

Just as described

This home exceeded our expectations. It was super clean and had all of the things we needed. There were six of us and we had no problems with space. The only downside might be that you have to haul your own trash, however, it’s roughly a mile from the house. It was super easy to find and wasn’t an inconvenience to us. The property is secluded and private. We were able to enjoy the outside amenities without any concerns. Overall we had a wonder stay and would definitely recommend to others looking to stay in the Bryson City area.

Great house, great location!

My whole family loved this house! It’s in a great location in close proximity to Bryson City and all kinds of outdoor activities. House was well stocked and had everything we needed. Would not change anything. We highly recommend the house and will definitely be back again.

Paradise in the Mountains

Spent 5 nights in this beautiful cabin with family. It was as described in the listing. It was well equipped with many thoughtful details well beyond what was expected. We loved the location, close to town yet very private, nestled up in the middle of a mountain with a great view of mountains. Morning coffee on the porch swing with that view is just amazing! It was "icing on the cake" when the steam engine went through blowing its whistle on a "smoky" morning and it echoed through the valley. Ingles Grocery store is 5 minutes away and we visited it twice for food and firewood (which burned great!). We ventured into the National Park 2 days, rode the GSMR, and took a trip to Highland to see Dry Falls, Bust your Butt Falls and Bridal Veil Falls along Route 28. We enjoyed the hot tub after long hiking days to soothe achy legs! Our group described the cabin and the Bryson City area as a "hidden gem".

We love this cabin. It was our 4th time staying there.

The cabin is always great. We love going into Bryson City and riding the train, hiking to the waterfall’s and the road to nowhere. It’s also close to NOC where we go rafting. We always enjoy our stay. The owners are easy to dealing with.

Weekend in Bryson City

The hosts were fantastic and the property and location were perfect! Close to attractions and area restaurants! Contact with the hosts was minimal, that being said, everything the Vrbo is spot on and upon arrival was even better than the post! The home was extremely comfortable and well appointed. You could feel the passion the hosts have taken! We were 4 adults up for the Labor Day weekend to take a Great Smoky Mountains Railroad tour and also go whitewater rafting (bucket list). We all hated to leave but with that said we wanted to return next year! I really don’t have anything negative at all. The gang enjoyed the fun filled weekend in Bryson City. Thank you so much for sharing your home with us!

We like the best of 2 worlds...the tropics and the mountains. Since we live in Florida, the tropical part is easy. We also love the mountains and it was a dream come true to be able to build our mountain cabin!

We have always enjoyed camping in the area of the Smoky Mountains and had the opportunity to purchase this piece of property from my husband's cousin. They also have a cabin they use as a vacation rental which we have stayed in. We fell in love with Bryson City and its proximity to outdoor adventures.

Voici ce qui rend cet hébergement unique

It took us a year and half to complete our cabin because we did so much work ourselves with family and friends. There is so much sweat equity here and personal satisfaction. We hope you enjoy our vacation home as much as we hope to!
