We couldn't believe how much land there was and how beautiful the setting was. We talked about coming back in the winter, realizing that it would be awesome to do some cross country skiing in the beautiful setting.Everything was clean and prepared for us.

Great Place

Have stayed multiple times and plan to go back. Quite and beautiful, enjoyed our walks and down time, while visiting family in the area. Close to Culver, which is worth the trip by itself.

LOVED THIS PROPERTY

We were looking for a quiet place to stay while visiting family in the area. Beautiful spot, great house and the walking paths back to the river were perfect. Close to some great restaurants and sights. Will definitely return!!

Perfect location

We had a nice stay at this property! The house is clean, cozy, and well-maintained. We loved the fire pit in the backyard. The location was perfect for our visit to Culver Academies. We will recommend this property to anyone looking for a relaxing weekend.

The perfect spot

The property this cute little house sits on is gorgeous! I sat in the swing a lot just watching nature and it's the most relaxed I've been in awhile.

VISITING FAMILY

The place was perfect for meeting my son and his family that live in the area. A lot of charm inside for small child, even some toys provided to play with. The property is next to small river with nice open trail for hike. Will definitely be back.

GREAT GETAWAY

MY WIFE AND I HAVE VISITED FAMILY IN THE AREA MULTIPLE TIMES AND WERE LUCKY ENOUGH TO FIND THIS QUITE HOUSE ON A VERY NICE PIECE OF PROPERTY. CLOSE TO CULVER INDIANA, WITH VERY NICE RESTRAUNTS AND SHOPS. VERY RELAXING. PLAN TO GO BACK AGAIN.

Old Musky Moldy House Smell

House smelled like it was shut up all year. Bugs everywhere. Had to leave due to asthma.

We responded immediately to your messages, however did not get a response back from you to discuss concerns. The bugs you mention that are everywhere were three lady bugs -unfortunately pretty common in the area. The one picture shared was of a stain in our carpet. Our home is located near the river and a wooded area, bugs are not uncommon. We take pride in the cleanliness of our home and as seen in reviews on Airbnb and VBRO have excellent reviews with repeats customers. The air quality is not something I am sure I can address as we, again, have never received this feedback. Best of luck .

Wonderful Weekend Getaway

My husband and I spent a wonderful, relaxing weekend here. The house was exceptionally clean, and had everything we needed. We also appreciated some of the vintage special touches, which brought back fond memories. We enjoyed walks on the property, and listening to the sounds of nature all around us. The house was also close to town, and our host Jessica provided great suggestions on restaurants and local activities. Jessica was always very responsive whenever we reached out. We would highly recommend this property.

Peace and Beauty

The property is the gem here. Beautiful grounds that I walked every morning. Gorgeous river setting. I sat on the tree swing everyday reading and listening to the many birds and the wind in the trees. So peaceful and relaxing. It’s a quick drive into Culver for nearby restaurants and groceries. Lovely to drive the back roads. The house is dated as expected but very clean and comfortable beds. The weather was super hot and humid but the AC kept us cool. The shower is nice but, as the listing points out, there is only one bathroom downstairs off the kitchen. The bedrooms are upstairs. That could be a problem for some people. We were fine with it. Very comfortable couch to relax on at the end of the day. We enjoyed our stay. We had quick and easy interactions with the property owner. No problems.

Peaceful Property

While our stay was just overnight, we very much enjoyed it. Jessica was very easy to work with. The property is very clean. The beds were comfortable and the house was cozy. It was very peaceful next to the river. If you enjoy the country and nature, it is a perfect spot.
