6 bedroom 8 bath house on the main channel of the lake. Lake Wateree is a 21 square mile lake in the northern part of South Carolina. This home has magnificent views of the lake or view it up close with optional pontoon rental. Two marinas within 2-3 miles. First floor (2nd story) is elevated and contains the 2nd kitchen, game room including pool table, and bedroom with queen bed and single bunk w full bath. There is also a porch the entire length of the house with 5 rocking chairs and 2 bench swings. The main living area on the 2nd floor (3rd story) contains the main kitchen and dining area, a large living room with adjacent sunroom. A balcony off dining area is perfect for relaxing and viewing the sunset. This floor also contains the "bunk house" with 4 single beds and 2 double beds. The 3rd floor (4th story) contains the final 4 bedrooms. All bedrooms have full bath attached. Two half baths on the 1st and 2nd floor.

Lake Wateree is a rural lake with less traffic. Depending on the time of year you'll have the choice of to up to 6 boat-up restaurants. Voted in the top 8 lakes in the state for fishing, with several tournaments annually. Boat 9 miles in one direction or 12 in the other direction. The Lake Wateree State Park is noted for bird watching and trails. Two catering companies available for delivery. 2 public golf courses within a half hour. Clay shooting 45 minutes away. Langford Canal Park (lily gardens, canal history, bald eagle nesting) 45 minutes away. Congaree National Park 1 hour 15 minutes away.

Great place for big groups!

We had 15 guys stay at the house with ease! Plenty of usable space to have everyone together. Sleeping arrangements not crazy like other houses. Just overall a fantastic property and great host!

Amazing Weekend

The property was wonderful! Space for everyone to spread out, and so very peaceful! Our son was graduating from USC, and although this location was an hour away, it was exactly what we had hoped for! The owner was great at communicating with us, and it was truly a wonderful stay!

Wonderful Family Reunion house!

We had our 4 adult children, spouses and 9 grandchildren for our annual family reunion and this house was perfect for us! There is plenty of room for everybody to eat, watch tv and play ping pong or pool and lounge on the dock. It is well stocked with all you would need. We are considering it again for next year!

The home was exactly as described. More than enough space for our group and beautiful. We had to clean the grill before use, and the property could use some detail cleaning, but nothing bad enough to affect our stay. Great place for a large crowd and an amazing view!!

Worth Every Penny

This place is gorgeous and spacious. It’s perfect for large groups who just want to have fun together. It has two kitchens and large bedrooms. The view from almost all the rooms is magnificent. Just sitting on the porch was relaxing. The jacuzzi was ready and waiting . My family raved about this place and our stay.

Hidden Gem

We had a wonderful time at Lake House on Wateree! Although we had a wedding event that took most of our time, this property fit all of our needs & more! Huge home with amazing views! Waterfront, w/peaceful mornings with two porches from which to choose, great family room for TV watching & playing games, and TWO full size kitchens! Plenty of bedrooms & bathrooms for everyone. Garage offered a great pool & ping pong table. Our weekend went by too fast; we didn't get a chance to enjoy all this beautiful home had to offer! Trent was super responsive throughout the entire process. Fantastic weekend getaway :)

Great event space!

Our women’s ministry from First Baptist Camden had a fabulous weekend retreat at this beautiful home! The TWO kitchens are well equipped and made it easy to cook for a large crowd. A large open floor plan was perfect for our group sessions. The house is beautifully decorated and the lake view is incredible! Ample parking and just a short drive from Camden. We hope to rent this home again next year! Highly recommend!

Beyond our expectations!

We were beyond pleased with our stay at this lake house on Lake Wateree! The house had plenty of space for our large group and the views were amazing. We were in town for the South Carolina football game, so we weren't able to relax as much as we would have liked at the house. Heads up for others - it was about an hour to Williams-Brice. The host made himself available if needed - and is even helping us get back a couple items left in the house upon our exit. We would definitely stay here again if in the area!

Fantastic Stay for Large Groups!

The photos don't do the house justice. The home was very clean and beautifully decorated. The modern furniture was absolutely lovely. There are two spacious kitchens and two large living rooms. There's even an elevator for moving heavy luggage and an ice maker. The layout and amenities of the house make it a real jewel for any large group looking for a bucolic getaway on the lake. My whole group can't wait to go back. Five stars!

Amazing home!!

This place was exceptional! Bathrooms for all bedrooms was so great. The elevator (once we figured out the sequence of steps) was so helpful for the 2 of us that are older with some issues. We had a storm and Trent contracted us before we checked in with him. Proactive! Was great! Got things back up and running asap. Would love to stay there again!!

Perfect!

Loved everything about the property! The only non issue is the furniture in the living room is not very comfortable. The backs on the couches are very low and not able to lean back. The men in our group were not a fan of the couches. Other than that, we had a great time!! Thanks for a wonderful time!!

Helen started asking for free stuff before even getting there - asking for free early check in and a late check out. When we didn't allow that I believe she already decided this was going to be a terrible event. Upon arrival, she asked about the use of our elevator (normally not turned on). When we stated that fact, we got an angry text that it was needed and so we made the allowance. She also complained about the fireplace not working and at this point was given a late check out at no charge to compensate. Only after leaving did she reveal it was user error and the fireplace did in fact work. As for the cleanliness, the exterior will often get some spiderwebs which is very common for this area. Most people love our property but some people just aren't happy unless they are getting free stuff or hurting others.

A Beautiful Home

We have stayed at many vacation homes; this has been one of the cleanest homes. Everything you need is provided in both kitchens.There is more than enough space for multiple families. Each bedroom was a suite and the kids loved the bunkhouse (they only wish was a tv)My Dad really enjoyed fishing on the dock and caught many fish. We actually told him he had fish enough. If you're looking for a good fishing location this was a great spot. I wish i could post the pics of all the fish and how big they were! 3 of the fish will be sent to a taxidermist. If i had to complain it would be the stairs but that's so minor. Book this home!

We truly enjoyed our stay at this beautiful lake house for our church youth retreat! The location was absolutely perfect, offering a wonderful backdrop for our group. There was a ton to do right on the property, which was a huge bonus for keeping everyone entertained – the availability of kayaks, paddleboards, swimming, and fishing meant there was never a dull moment.Overall, everything was great, and the owner was incredibly helpful and fast-responding to any questions we had, which we greatly appreciated.However, there were just a few minor downfalls that impacted our experience. The elevator was not working, and with four levels, carrying luggage and groceries up and down was quite a workout and definitely hard on the knees. Additionally, the bugs and spiders were a considerable issue. We found it nearly impossible to sit on the porch or go outside without being swarmed, especially at night, and every time the door was opened, they seemed to find their way into the house. Lastly, the air conditioning was not working in the garage, where the pool table and ping pong table are located. This made the space super hot and uncomfortable, preventing us from enjoying the game area for very long.Despite these challenges, the overall positive aspects and the wonderful amenities available on the lake made for a memorable retreat! Would definitely book again!
