Incredible Whole Condo with Heated Pool Next to Venice Island/Beach

Prime location in Venice with a short drive to Venice Island and Venice Beach (the island is a mile away). House has a private heated pool that is shared with the unit next to it.

This a 2/1.5 unit that has a full kitchen with all cooking utensils, cozy living room, office, dining room, and great outdoor patio with next to the pool. There is also a gas grill in the backyard. There are three smart TVs in every room with everything you need TV wise: HBO, Netflix, and Amazon Prime.

Both bedrooms have queen beds. The unit also has a washer and dryer. There are already beach chairs, beach toys, beach towels, and fishing poles in the unit. There are also bicycles in the backyard for anyone to use.

You can't beat this beach location right next to the island and beach.

Location - Location and price

PROS- The location was great for traveling to the Venice beach maybe 10- minute drive. The Walmart is only a few miles away for grocery items. Coffee shop also short drive. CONS-The bed mattress in the master bedroom was totally worn out, Body impressions on both sides. Pool area could have been cleaner. No Lanai as pictured! We used our own garden hose to clean the area because existing hose was broken. Also shared pool. No broom or dustpan, borrowed one days later from cleaning lady when she was cleaning the other half of duplex. Extra trash cans would show up in front of home full of trash on trash day. Then cans would be disappear during evening hours.

Awful landlord

Condition was seriously misrepresented with the serious being a major fire code violation. Then he shorted my refund by 1000 with no explanation. Planning on suing as a case of pure fraud.

Not as advertised

The title photo of the covered pool/jacuzi that they use as a hook for this place is false. Pool is open air. Pros: hot shower, clean, comfortable chairs in living room. Tv worked. Cons: it’s January and we were counting on a covered pool area we could actually use. Mgr defensive and rude. Didn’t answer phone and ignored wuestions about lock. No book in the place with any info about the place as is customary. First and last time using VRBO for us.

Overall a nice property

There is no covered area over the pool, picture should be updated on line! The beds and pillows are really In need of replacement. No kitchen towels and inly one hand towel for two bathrooms, could use a few more linens. The place was clean and overall met our needs.

sufficient enough

This place was sufficient enough. It was clean and had most things you might need. We had a few issues but nothing that would prompt us to complain. We were unable to figure out how to get the jets working on the jacuzzi. Some of the light bulbs in the house were burned out. And the pans were not non-stick. One of the beds was really worn and sagging. The place definitely needs an upgrade. But if you're looking for a reasonably priced, basic place to stay, this will do the trick.

Close to downtown Venice

We were looking last minute for a place to stay in Venice for a few days. We found this condo available and not far from downtown. The interior was a bit dated & the sliding glass doors need to be fixed for easier opening & closing. However, it was clean & close to downtown so it met our needs for the 3 days we were there. Communication with host was good.

Simple family getaway

My family enjoyed getting away for a few days to be near the coast. This location was perfect driving distance to several different beaches. We loved exploring the area. The location itself was modest and comfortable. The patio area has a nice table with an umbrella. We had an issue with one of the toilets and the property manager followed up with us quickly.

Worked for us

We enjoyed our stay here overall. Some of the decorations are interesting, and could maybe use a de-clutter, but it felt homey. Queen mattress could use and upgrade. Carpet in one of the bedrooms was badly stained. Of note, there isn't a screen around the pool as pictured, although this didn't matter to us. Also, the jacuzzi isn't heated which we didn't know and was disappointing for us.

Needed a place to stay while working in town

Almost the only thing in town we could find. Looked on VRBO(use it often for trips to NC mountains) and wala. They had a place. Considering the entire town is in shambles due to hurricane the place was absolutely perfect for us. Quite clean and comfy. Thanks for having us.
