Serenity in Windsor

My family needed a place to stay for Memorial Day weekend. It worked out much better than a hotel. The beds were comfortable. It was as advertised. An old farm house that brought back many memories. Will definitely stay again if the need arises.

Wow! What a nice place to spend a weekend away from the noise of living near a city. It was so peaceful and quiet. Wide open space on all sides which I really liked. Anthony, the host is very cordial and will help you with any extras that you need I will stay there again in the future

Amazing stay

This is my second time staying at this house and I absolutely love it! I love the scenery and its not far from town. Since it's in the country, the outside critters like to find thier way inside the house and be annoying. Other than that, our stay was perfect as it was before. I would recommend this house for sure.

Property was excellent for housing a group of fishermen with boats. There was plenty of room for parking and electrical outlets close by to charge the boat batteries.The only thing for my group that could have made it better would to have had one or two bedrooms with twin bunk beds. We used two air beds so all eight fishermen could sleep in their own bed.

Perfect House

This house was perfect for my family. I will have to say that my brother is 6'5" and was a bit too tall for the "old" part of the house. He was literally taller than the ceiling height, but honestly that was not a big deal because he was fine in the "new" part of the house. The house was very clean and had everything needed to make the stay comfortable. The area was perfect too because we were visiting friends that lived just down the road. We will absolutely stay here our next trip!

Great farmhouse

Had a wonderful week here. The house had all the amenities you could want and need. It was very clean and well taken care of. The host was very accommodating. There were a lot of things to do in the surrounding areas. Very quiet neighborhood. Would highly recommend staying at this lovely farmhouse.

This property had more space than expected. The yard is huge and good for family with children that likes to play in the yard. It in a beautiful and quite area.

Relaxing after bike riding in Edenton

Nice place to stay, relaxing and comfortable. The owner was available and answered all our questions. It was 15 minutes from the bicycle ride in Edenton. Beautiful area- I would recommend this property.

We had a great time at this property. My husband, our 2 sons and their wives, our daughter and her husband along with our 2 small grandchildren had a lot of room to hang out and celebrate our grandson's first bday together. We all had our own rooms and there were 2 full bathrooms to accommodate us. It had everything we needed. Anthony, the owner even left a bottle of wine and some chocolates for us to enjoy. We socialized on all 3 porches and we loved the lack of neighbors. The beds were very cozy. The kitchen was well equipped complete with a case of water and a full automatic ice maker. It could have used a potato peeler but there was a beautiful knife set that did the trick. I would stay here again with my family.

Perfect country house for a family

We thoroughly enjoyed our visit to Bertie County while staying at this adorable farm house. The house was stocked with everything we needed to use to cook and eat while we were there. Plenty of towels and linens with extra pillows and blankets in the closets. The extra touch of children’s books, coloring supplies, and board games were a wonderful touch, and greatly appreciated. We will definitely book this house again when we come back to the area.
