Rooftop was great! I've cheated and chairs for the beach were a life saver. The only suggestion since the barstools were the only chairs in the room was they needed backs.

The space was exactly as advertised. It was clean and well appointed. They provide chairs and a cooler if you want to take them out. I used the laundry facilities, which are in a common area, the machines appear to be brand new and worked perfectly. There is a TV but I didn’t use it. Bed was comfortable with 4 pillows, just like my bed at home. I would say the only con for this property was the lack of hot water in the shower. I didn’t have one hot shower the whole week. I thought maybe it was because other units used all the hot water before me, but it didn’t seem to matter what time I showered and the sink water did get hotter than the shower. The location was great for me, there was a grocery store nearby and a great coffee shop. I was able to watch the fireworks for NYE from the rooftop pool area. I would stay here again.

Perfect Location

This rental is close to anywhere you want go. You don’t need a car to get around, but i didn't know that beforehand. A walk to downtown Oranjestad, a taxi ride to The high rise area for the nightlife. Very clean and the rooftop splash pool was refreshing after a day out and about!!

The worst part is that this property is across the street from a cemetery. Not a good location for a vacation. The beach chairs were smudged with dirt and grease. They looked disgusting. They were changed late on the second day. So we checked in at 4:00 and noticed these and told the attending representative and they stop working at 5:00 so she said they would replace them the next day but they came really late and we went the second day without beach chairs. Both trash cans had rusty lids ad other parts and looked ugly. The microwave is at an inconvenient height above the stove. Maybe above the 5 ft level and my wife (5’-1”) could not reach inside. The lighting in the bathroom when facing the mirror comes from a little behind you and so it does not illuminate your face. Had a hard time shaving. Things don’t get dry without a balcony in Aruba. The dryer was sometimes being used - one dryer for many apartments.

Just OK

The bathroom had a bit of a sewage smell. We ran into one of our neighbors who asked us if we had a sewage smell, so right then and there, we knew we weren't going crazy. There was truly a smell. We stayed for 3 weeks, so we had to do all of our own housekeeping. There is one washer and dryer for the whole building, which was a pain at times because they were always being used. The washer was very tiny, and the thing bounced around like crazy anytime anyone used it. They truly should supply you with more than 2 towels for the whole week, let alone 3 weeks! Change them out for people every couple of days or so. When we changed our bedsheets, the mattress was soiled, and so were the pillows. None of the windows opened, which was a shame because the Aruba breeze would have been wonderful. The top floor, where the pool is, is as basic as could be. The pictures looked great - in reality, not so much. The pool is the size of a postage stamp, and not really maintained. The yellow lounge chairs are all moldy in between the creases. The "grill" is the size of a hair dryer and needs charcoal. Everything is very misleading. Overall, we had an amazing trip. It's Aruba - is there really anything to complain about? I'm just here to leave a review. Was it the worst place I've been: no. Was it the best place I've been: definitely no. Will I be back to this place: no.

Great stay

Property as described, everything we needed for our holiday. Location center to everything. A car is not a must but sure made our explorations of entire island an adventure. I wish i had that shower in my own home. The bbq was a bit disappointing but i understand guests were abusing its use,a few could make it bad for all. Enjoyed our stay

Good value to rent

Our stay was three night's and the unit was clean. The rooftop bar and pool area great. We did not cook in the unit but it was a good option. You should rent a car as the unit is inland a bit. All in all we would rent there again.
