This cottage is located in the historic district of Mount Dora, within an easy walk to the downtown amenities. Built in 1938, this charming house was remodeled with modern features but kept its historic beauty. This is a two bedroom and one bathroom home with a fully equipped kitchen and washer/dryer. The air-conditioned porch is perfect for those relaxing times and the fenced in backyard is ideal to enjoy the nice outdoors. The cottage is available for short and long term.

Loved This Adorable Cottage!

We were in town to spend Thanksgiving with family and this adorable cottage was perfect. The back yard was amazing and I loved reading on the front porch. WE will be back next time we are in town.

Just Lovely

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this wonderful VRBO. Everything was tip top along with a beautiful backyard. We especially enjoyed having a fire in the backyard fire pit. The entire trip was relaxing and wonderful. Many thanks to the host!

My sister and I love to go Antiquing , and Mount Dora is a great spot . Found this little Gem which was so close to everything, walking distance to great restaurants. Would definitely stay again when we are back in Mount Dora.

Girls’ Weekend

Quaint little cottage

My husband and I really enjoyed our stay in this sweet little cottage. We loved the vintage decor. It was within walking distance to downtown Mt Dora. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed. The mattresses were very comfortable.

Our stay in Mt Dora

The small home with a huge back yard was simply perfect . Our hosts, Heather and Ken, were in constant communication with us to be sure our needs were met. The home was spotless, and very well supplied. A perfect location to walk into town and enjoy all the fine shops and restaurants. It was a 10 rated experience all around, and we hope to return next year.

Cozy Oak Tree Cottage

Fun Little town to visit and other places 25 minutes outside the Area. Heather House was well supplied and nicely appointed , Very Cute. She was very easy to get a hold of if needed and told us places to Visit. You cannot go wrong rented this cozy Cottage. Thank You Again Heather,

Wonderful!!

The cottage is so wonderful, my sister-in-law and I each felt that we could live here happily! The oak trees are too amazing for words and Oak Tree Cottage has nestled under their branches since 1938. Clean, well appointed, inviting, comfortable...I could go on and on. No reservations in our recommendation of Oak Tree Cottage!

Charming and Immaculate Cottage

My husband and I travelled to Mt. Dora for the Renninger’s Antique Extravaganza and were thrilled to find this cottage so close to the venue.. The home was immaculate and lovingly restored and decorated. The hosts provided everything needed from coffee to laundry products. Communication was prompt and gracious. Thank you for a wonderful experience.. highly recommend!

Holiday family time

We loved the property and its location. It’s walkable to the old town area. We enjoyed the cute cottage and the amenities. The backyard would be more enjoyable if the grounds were primped a bit before guests arrive. We would recommend cleaning the outdoor chairs, table and sweeping the area. It was very dirty. I did that myself before our guests arrived to visit for a gift exchange. We lit the fire and enjoyed the warmth and beautiful weather. Overall our stay was delightful. Thank you, S & R

Perfect Cozy Cottage within Walking distance from town

The cottage is the perfect spot for a few friends to visit Mt. Dora. Heather has the place stocked to a thoughtful detail. Everything you need…nothing you don’t. The inside of the cottage is charming and a testament to good taste. Heather was so easy to work with and easy to reach with questions. The backyard with a fire pit and outdoor table is the perfect place to relax after a day or shopping and to enjoy any foods you pick up through the day. If you are healthy, the walk into town is easy. But the is plenty of parking downtown and you may want your car to load up with whatever fun treasures you find. Thank you Heather! 5 stars. Hands down.

Adorable Cottage in Mt. Dora

We recently had a 3 week stay at Oaktree Cottage. The beds and living room furniture were all very comfortable, which is important when you are staying for any length of time. The home is very well stocked with everything you will need. We were not able to use the beautiful backyard area due to the tree debris. We had some storms that went through and made a mess and when I asked about cleaning it, they were there that afternoon and cleaned, however more storms came through and made another mess. We loved being able to walk into town every day. We took advantage of the pickleball courts which are lit at night and the public swimming pool. Both are a little over 1/2- mile away in opposite directions. I would highly recommend Oaktree Cottage in Mount Dora.

Charming and comfortable cottage

This adorable cottage, within walking distance of Mt Dora, is beautifully situated under huge live oak trees. The indoor space has been decorated, arranged and stocked beautifully. The back yard outdoor space is such a pleasure to relax in.

Wonderful stay in Mt Dora

Owners went over the top in anticipating our every need. Furnishings were wonderful, everything very clean, furniture was comfortable, kitchen was fully equipped, backyard was amazing including a gas grill and campfire built and ready to go. So amazing; made our stay so special. Definitely will return!

Cute cottage in Mount Dora

We had a very nice stay for our weekend in Mount Dora. It was a perfect size for the 4 of us (and dog). About a mile walk from the main shops and restaurants.

Oaktreecottage is a special place for me. The house was in very bad shape when I bought it but, it called us every time we walked by it. So the opportunity came and I decided to rescue it. Lots of love went into this place, it was remodeled to make everybody feel like home.

Enjoy a 1938 historic cottage with modern amenities. The air conditioned porch is the perfect spot to relax and the back yard is ideal to have that morning coffee under the shade of the trees.
Location, location, location...within walking distance to downtown but, far enough to enjoy the tranquility of the historic district.
