Vous ne pouvez pas venir Ă  Mount Dora, sans entrer dans la ville pour faire du shopping, dĂźner ou profiter de la vie nocturne. Profitez d'un 5-7 minutes de marche facile dans la ville oĂč aucune voiture est nĂ©cessaire.

Cette belle maison dispose d'un salon magnifique qui contient un fauteuil, des chaises, un canapé et une télévision LCD. La salle à manger séparée accueille une table qui peut accueillir 6.

Sortez sur le perron et se détendre tout dans une chaise berçante ou la balançoire porche.

La cuisine est entiÚrement équipée avec un lave-vaisselle, cuisiniÚre, réfrigérateur, micro-ondes et tout ce que vous pourriez besoin possible, sauf la nourriture.

The Rocking Chair Cottage is a lovely house and has a very nice layout. It is decorated nicely and has everything you could want for your stay. It is just a couple of blocks to the downtown area. My friend, Melanie, and I enjoyed our stay. Wendy was a wonderful hostess and checked in to be sure we were settled in ok and that all was going well. At the end of our stay there was a severe weather event and Wendy made sure that we were informed of certain conditions. We would highly recommend this house to anyone looking to visit beautiful Mt. Dora.

The house was awesome. Loved the split plan with the master bedroom on the other side of the house. The kitchen had everything you will ever need including water in the refrigerator and a goodie basket which we munched on. We rocked on the front porch and used the fireplace in the evenings. Will diffently go back again

The home was very clean and neat. The bedrooms were more than adequate for 4 adults. The home is stocked with every kind of cooking vessel you would need if you like to cook and just hang out for quiet day. The very comfortable rocking chairs on the front porch just seem to call out your name. The home is only steps away from all the shopping, eating, and bout excursions. The Host is extremely quick to answer your calls if you have questions or alert her if something is wrong. Next time we visit the area we will definitely check availability for this home.

Perfect!!

Location-Perfect. 3 blocks from Mt Dora. Fireworks visible from front yard. Home-Perfect. Clean, plenty of room, comfortable beds, plenty of tv’s, well stocked kitchen, great grill, plenty of snacks and a welcome sign from the host. AC cold. Hosts-Perfect. Reached out several times with immediate and helpful responses. Perfect choice for our 5 day visit. Definitely recommend to any visiting this lovely area.

Convenient and delightful

We’re stayed at many VRBOs in Mt. Dora over the years but none better. House is as advertised and just a short walk to restaurants, shops, and parks downtown. We just got home and already looking forward to another stay.

Perfect Location

We are storytellers, involved with the Florida Storytelling Festival in Mount Dora. This sweet house was a quarter mile from where we needed to be. The accommodations were spot on, everything worked well, the beds were comfortable, and our host could not have been more helpful. Loved it!

Family Get Together

This spacious, well-appointed home is very close to downtown Mt Dora, which makes for pleasant morning and afternoon walks. Wendy, the owner, was in contact with us for whatever our needs might be. We had none because she covered all the bases and then some because this wasn't the typical walk in the door and then run to Publix. She had snacks, and water, coffee creamer, the works. So after our long ride we could relax and enjoy the evening.

Mount Dora

In town for a friend’s 50th birthday and knew nothing about this area beforehand. Mount Dora was such a cool place to visit and this home had everything we needed. The host was super responsive and accommodating. Highly recommend this property and the town!

Heaven in a Hurricane

I left Pinellas County Florida before Hurricane Milton to find a safe inland place. Wendy's place was next to my step son and I was able to book it as others were leaving. The BEST stay I have ever had.. Place is clean and beautiful. Close to downtown , walking to see sunset every evening!! Porch makes it nice for morning and afternoons outside. Wendy and her husband are close and responsive...I will be back when no Hurricane threat!! Thanks Wendy!!

The property is great. The location is ideal. There are sidewalks for ease of walking. You are right by everything that is happening in the city! I would definitely stay here again.

Great place

Have stayed in many homes in and around Mount Dora and found this the most equipped home ever. You have thought of everything. Loved the basket of goodies too. And appreciate extra dishwasher soap, paper towels, toilet paper etc. Also great to be able to walk to town. Thank you for a great stay

Perfect location and Super cute house

Stayed here over the weekend with family to attend/work the Renaissance Fair. The house was absolutely perfect for our needs. After long days on our feet, we enjoyed nice showers, a comfy living room to spend time together, and very comfortable beds to recharge for the next day. The house was clean and inviting. We felt very at home here. We will definitely stay here again.

Although we use to live in Orlando, we always wanted to move to Mt. Dora. With the purchase of a vacation home in 2011 and visiting the town on the weekends we soon decided to move to this delightful little town in 2012.

Although Mt Dora has a small town feel, that has been frozen in time, within 2 miles from the heart of town are all the modern restaurants, grocery stores and shops. We love to visit the light house for Sunset and it’s always so nice to be able to walk into town and not have to worry about parking.

We now live in the first home we purchased, which is in the historic downtown district and are available for any assistance you may need.

We love to shop and dine in downtown Mt Dora and it wouldn’t be unusual to run into us if your there. Don’t hesitate to contact us for the best kept secrets of town.
