Tortuga 4 Masters, Hot Tub, Pool, Game Room


Tortuga is the perfect house in many ways. It has an incredible view of both the ocean and the sound. The house is high and the breeze is wonderful. We like to cook and it's well stocked for cooking . It's a great house for families or couples because each bedroom, excluding the bunkroom, has a private bathroom within the bedroom. Tortuga's décor is a tribal boho beach theme. There is always something interesting to look at. It's perfect for a great cup of coffee on a rainy day or a great glass of wine. The furnishings are beautiful but comfortable including the beds. We love repeat guests.

Top Floor- Full kitchen, Living Area, half bathroom and Queen bedroom with on suite full bathroom with jetted tub

Middle floor- 3 Bedrooms (1 Queen, 2 Kings) with on suite full bathrooms, Laundry room with full sized washer and dryer. Top floor queen bedroom and all middle floor bedrooms have private baths attached to them.

Bottom Floor- 1 Bedroom with Full sized bunk beds, half bathroom, game room with pool table, extra refrigerator. Poker table, also "Kid's Cave" with Wii gaming system. Hot tub on back deck over looking the fenced pool patio area.

Pool area has covered shaded area for lunch and sun bathing areas along with an outdoor shower. Street level storage room has umbrellas, beach chairs, coolers, beach cart, boogie boards, and beach toys.

Each level has front and back decks.

Pier Pass included--Free access to fish and walk the Rodanthe Pier

Rented with local company in OBX for 7 years, now booking ourselves with VRBO starting with the 2022 season, thus no reviews listed in VRBO.

Great home away from home!

This place had it all great serving dish for a family. Great spaces for all the members of the family! You can hear the music from the pier every night. We jaf a great time there!

Family Vacation

We enjoyed celebrating my in laws 50th wedding anniversary by the beach. The house was in the perfect location for a quick walk to the pier or beach. We enjoyed waking up to the ocean viewevery morning. We would recommend and stay again, but beware the stairs may be difficult for older individuals.

We had so much fun at the Tortuga! The home is so beautiful and fully stocked with everything you need for a fun vacation. The location is perfect - short walk to the beach and pier. Highly recommend!

Our extended family enjoyed our stay very much. The younger folks walked to the beach & the pier. The house had all the amenities that we were looking for. The stairs were a little tough for the old folks, but we got through it. The grandchildren loved the pool. The hosts were very thoughtful and checking on us to make sure everything was as we expected it to be. Also, they very quickly addressed one issue that did come up on our first day. We were very pleased.

This house is amazing!! Has everything you need for your stay. The owners are very kind and left cinnamon rolls for us one morning. Beach is less than a minute walk away. If your looking for a great vacation home look no further.

Our family really enjoyed this home, the location was perfect for us, nice and quiet and the beach not crowded. The owners left us a fantastic welcome basket of delicious baked goods and also called to check in and gave us some great restaurant recommendations. We will definitely keep this on our list of places to stay!

This is a wonderful house in a wonderful location. The owners are great and ensure that your experience is perfect. The house is well stocked and very clean. 2022 Family OBX Trip-Tortuga

For over 20 years, my family has been coming to the OBX. I can honestly say that this was the best location by far! Everything at Tortuga exceeded our expectations
cleanliness, a fully equipped kitchen, tons of beach gear, plenty of space for a family of 9 to sprawl out

Great location and hosts!

Laura and her family were fantastic. The house was well equipped with all necessities and the layout was great for everyone having their own space. We loved the cinnamon buns that were left for us the first morning too! There were a few issues with the pool and hot tub that Laura took care of right away! We would definitely stay there again!

Great Stay

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Tortuga. The home was clean and well furnished. The location is good; we loved the short distance to the beach. The kitchen was adequately stocked, and we loved playing pool in the game room. We appreciated the owners touching base to make sure everything was in order when we arrived, and they even left a sweet treat for our family’s arrival. Overall it was a wonderful experience!

Family Fun

Beautiful accommodations. House was perfect for a large family and really close to the beach. The only downside is the house is not handicap friendly. But, if you're healthy and able to climb steps go and have an amazing time.

Vacay 2022

Tortuga is a beautiful house with plenty of space. Close to pier. Decks on both sides with views of both ocean and sound. Everything was as expected.

We rented with a local agency for 7 years, decided to go to VRBO. It's the same great house. We care very much about our home and strive to make our guests feel at home. We want to create an experience for everyone when coming to our house.
Every week I call our guests on Tuesdays and ask if our home has met their expectations?
If you honestly, would like to know more about us, we have another VRBO house called Anna's Beach Cottage (989083) that we have rented for years. Please read our reviews from our guests. We pride ourselves on good service.
