Beautiful Place

We had a great stay. Check-in/Check-out was straightforward. Fishing was slow due to the time of year but the house and area was beautiful.

We found this property to be perfect for our group of four adults and a four year old. It would have easily accommodated more. It was quiet when we needed quiet and close to everything we wanted to do. The hostess was absolutely lovely and everything met or exceeded our expectations!I would highly recommend this property if you have any cause to be in the area!

Very special place

We were in the area for a family gathering and this turned out to be the perfect spot to stay. The house was very cozy and was a great place to relax after long, busy days. It gave my granddaughters room to explore and be loud without getting in trouble. I would definitely stay there again!

Beautiful , clean & comfortable! Home is well stocked with basics. Decent kitchen equipment , we cooked in most meals. Easy check in. I loved the back yard & porch. Took peaceful naps out there, only the sounds of nature. It was only 2 of us but would be great for a family or friends vacation spot.

Amazing place and host

Sad we had two nights of cold water but host tried everything to fix issue.. place was amazing and loved it so glad i got a chance to enjoy this place. Working in town so wish id had more time to enjoy it a little more but overall an amazing time.

Lovely spot for a weekend away

We picked this cabin due to its location to Lake Placid and specifically The Almanzo Wilder Homestead. It was very easy to get to both places and provided a cozy place to hang out and rest our heads when not sight seeing. The front porch provided a lovely hang out spot during the unfortunate rain when we weren't able to have a fire. I would strongly suggest this cabin to anyone, especially if you have a love for being outdoors rain or shine.

Comfortable Cottage in North Country

Cozy Cottage

Beautiful surroundings of the Adirondack Mountains. Cottage offers plenty of amenities. Property is well maintained and the host Cathy is onsite and very attentive if needed. We loved our 3 night stay.

Farmhouse Cottage

Our family had a wonderful stay in the cottage over Christmas. The location is terrific. The cottage is comfortable and warm. The wifi is reliable.And Cathy is a friendly and responsive host.I highly recommend.

Holiday ski trip

The location of this cottage is fantastic, minutes away from Titus Mountain was perfect. The cottage was clean, everything was as in the listing. Plenty of space for 8 of us. Would stay again if we ski Titus again!

Great stay during the holidays!

We thoroughly enjoyed our long weekend spent at this house. It was the perfect size for our two families to gather and have a small Christmas vacation. The owners were quick to answer any questions we had, and went out of their way to assure our comfort. The creek behind the house was beautiful. Would 100% recommend this house to anyone looking for a comfortable getaway.

I am a native of the North country. I owned and operated a bridal shop in downtown Malone for 23 years and retired in 2007. I enjoyed working with brides and attending to every detail of their wedding.

I have enjoyed being a VRVO host for the past 15 years and I have been fortunate enough to put together a great staff to help manage my properties.

The nature and aesthetic beauty of this area has always represented a peaceful place to live. Occasional sightings of deer, moose, bears and lots of birds are an exciting part of living here

Voici ce qui rend cet hébergement unique

I love this property because it is located at the foothills of the Adirondack mountains, close to the ski center, great hiking trails and the golf course, It is aesthetically beautiful, surrounded by trees and a scenic path to the river. The location is also good for snowmobilers and four wheelers as it is very close to a network of trails and there is plenty of area for parking trucks, trailers ando all the toys.

Additionally, the location is just a short drive to the Almanzo Wilder home, Mohawk Casino, Lake Placid Olympic center, the St. Lawrence River and the Canadian border.

The house is comfortable for hanging out and provides ample space for an active family, guys fishing trip or couples getaway
