Titus Mountain, voted #1 family-friendly ski resort in North America, is just minutes away. Lake Placid, with its Olympic history and charming shops and restaurants, is within an hour's drive. Hike the 46 highest peaks of the Adirondacks; fish for pike, trout, bass, and lakers in many local ponds, lakes, and rivers; spend the day in Montreal (78 miles); explore nearby snowmobile and ATV trails; tee off at the Malone Golf Club, awarded 4.5 stars from Golf Digest; relive history at Almonzo Wilder's homestead (Little House on the Prairie); learn all about nature at the VIC (28 minute drive) or The Wild Center (1 hour drive). Nature lovers retreat

Or cabin was beautiful! It’s amazing what they did with this space. We were very comfortable and cannot wait to return! We truly enjoyed the outdoor space. I was making coffee on Saturday and three deer visited the site. Such a peaceful place to get away and relax.

ADK Getaway - Pine Tree Retreat

The Pine Tree Retreat at ADK Getaway was just absolutelty perfect. The cottage was Immaculate, very comfortable and had every amenity you could possibly need. Beth and Chris were by far the best hosts we ever had. They were very kind and concerned about our comfort. We had a wonderful and restful vacation at the Pine Tree Retreat. We cannot thank Beth and Chris enough. We highly recommend ADK Getaway. We will be coming back.

My husband and I are from the area. We spent a few years living in Pennsylvania but decided to move back. We prefer the quiet life over the noise of cities and want to share nature's beauty and solitude with others.

Our location is ideal for nature enthusiasts. Being only two miles outside the Adirondack Park puts us in a prime location for countless outdoor activities, such as hiking, fishing, boating, hunting, skiing, or simply enjoying the serenity that surrounds you.

Voici ce qui rend cet hébergement unique

Our units are cabins built by the local Mennonite community. My husband and I (with the help of plumbers and electricians) finished the insides with tongue and groove pine for a rustic feel but with all the amenities of home. We added lots of special touches to make our units unique--shelves and furniture made from the beech and cherry trees harvested from the property and repurposed antique windows, doors, and barn beams. The blend of old and new makes a functional and charming space.
