Beautiful ocean-view home nestled on the cliffs of Ocean Beach! This spacious property features two separate units with hot tub, pool, BBQ, plenty of patio seating, and panoramic views of the Pacific Ocean. Just a few minutes drive to the public beach, pier, tide pools, restaurants, shopping, and weekly farmer's market. A/C and high speed Wifi available for guest use. Smart TVs in living area and 4 of the 5 bedrooms. Up to 3 parking spaces for use in the driveway and street parking available!

The front unit contains 3 bedrooms (all with king size beds), 2 bathrooms, full kitchen, washer/dryer, dining area, and large living room with fireplace.

The 2-story back unit contains 2 bedrooms (King, King), 2 bathrooms, and a full kitchen. Both units are beautifully furnished with quality pieces.

The large kitchen, BBQ, ample dining and lounging areas, tranquil beach neighborhood, and outdoor patio space make this a great location for your family vacation, work retreat, or other gathering!

​​​​​​​Please know this home is located in a community that values peace and tranquility, and partying is against our house rules. While we want you to have a fantastic stay, we want to make sure we respect our neighbor's peaceful environment and be considerate of the surrounding residents. Thank you for your understanding and helping us maintain a quiet environment for all.

​​​​​​​The pool can be heated upon request for an additional $150/day, plus tax and service fees. Please let us know if you are interested! Please note that it takes 12-24 hours for the pool to heat up, so it is best to arrange this ahead of your stay!

Wonderful property

We had a great time during our stay. The property is beautiful and very comfortable. Bedrooms and bathrooms are big. Wonderful views and multiple outdoor seating areas. Home in the back was great as well and allowed for our family to spread out and have quiet time if needed. The pool and hot tub were enjoyed by everyone. Close to all major San Diego attractions and easy to get to the beaches

Wonderful home! Wonderful view!! Super friendly community!! Beautiful sunsets from your front porch!! The home was beautiful and had everything we needed. So close to all the shopping and restaurants of Ocean Beach. Check out the farmers market on Wednesdays! So glad we didn’t stay at Mission beach!!

Sunset Cliffs

The house was well appointed, absolutely true to how it was advertised. We had less people than expected. The house was especially roomy and the open floor plan was perfect. The bathrooms were also well appointed, clean and roomy. All bedrooms were beautiful and spacious with plenty of room for storage. The mattresses were firm and very comfortable (we live in Palm Springs and rent near the coast every Summer) This is literally the first time I have been so happy about the bedding, as they provided a very restful nights sleep.

Incredible house and location

This house was absolutely incredible for a week-long family vacation for a group of 7 adults. The view from the front yard cannot be beat and we spent every morning and evening staring out at the ocean. The main house was beautiful with a huge space that included the kitchen, dining room and living room that was perfect for hanging out as a group. The back house was also incredible with 2 private rooms. We loved our stay and will absolutely be back!

Weekend getaway for friends and family

We ended up booking Sunset Cliffs at the last minute because our Maui vacation in Lahaina got cancelled. The house at Sunset Cliffs was a beautiful property and the property owner was very accommodating. The house was spacious and clean and we spent a lot of time in the pool and jacuzzi (despite the tropical storm). The guest house was a bonus two room retreat. The furniture was comfy and kitchen was top notch. We highly recommend this property and would stay there again.

Spectacular

The pictures were accurate! The rooms were large and decorated beautifully. There were all kinds of nooks for gathering and the view was incredible! Couldn’t have asked for anything more. There was a couple, a mother and a family of mom, dad a 2 and a 4 year old and everyone had space for privacy and to share. Awesome!

Sunset Cliffs

The host is very responsive and took care of whatever we messaged them about. Beautiful home with a beautiful view every day. Every morning we could sit out front and have coffee and watch the ocean. The bedrooms are spacious and nicely decorated. The living spaces and kitchen are large and the furniture is comfortable. The kitchen is well stocked with pots, coffee makers etc. The host provided shampoo, body wash and conditioner in the showers. The only bummer was no chest of drawers in the bedrooms to put our clothes in for the week. However, I would definitely stay here again.

An Amazing Experience

The property at Sunset Cliffs in San Diego was exactly what myself, my family, and our friends needed to relax and recharge from daily life (and the COVID-19 Pandemic). While we were all sold on the sunset views alone from the front patio every evening, this home was just perfect. Jill, Jordan, and Chloe were so easy to work with. They were highly responsive to our requests and questions before, during, and after our stay. There were absolutely no 'surprises' from what their VRBO listing stated... except for the fact that Sunset Cliffs exceeded our expectations. Clean, new, well-maintained, accessible to everything, close to the beach, beautiful quiet neighborhood, plenty of parking, comfortable, and very relaxing. Each and every member of our two families made so many memories at Sunset Cliffs. We were so sad when your vacation week ended, but we are already looking forward to hopefully visiting again very soon.

Doesn't get any better than this house.

Front door sunsets. That should be enough for you to rent this house. It was spacious enough that 9 of us didn't feel cramped. The two separate buildings helped. The pool and spa was a perfect way to cool off after a hot day on the golf course. Kitchen was well stocked if you want to cook a meal like we did for 9. Ocean Beach is just up the road with lots of amenities so location to that and I5 was perfect. Communication with the host was excellent. Can't wait to come back and re-book!!

Sunset paradise

This was one of the best properties I’ve ever stayed in using Vrbo. It was clean it had everything that you needed to have a comfortable stay and had a gorgeous views. We got to see sunsets every day and the beach was right across the street. Not only that the owners of this home are very generous and allowed us To have an extended check out because my mother was not feeling well. They have gone above and beyond!

Sunset Cliffs Property

Wonderful! Our group of 6 are 3 young at heart senior (70s+++) couples who were able to enjoy all the great features of this property because we are generally physically active and able to maneuver the stairs. The different levels afforded privacy for each of us. We had the very private pool heated and literally wallowed in it and the attached spa for exercising and soothing our joints and muscles while we all also enjoyed the main level front patio overlooking the ocean. The private patio off of the upstairs master suite in the main house overlooks the ocean too. I loved sitting out there enjoying the breeze, and the sounds and smells of the ocean early mornings and late nights. This is a great location to shops and restaurants. The property managers were terrific and responsive.
