SKI-IN-SKI-OUT one bedroom chalet at Whitecap Mountains Ski Resort. Slopeside chalet lower unit is strategically placed along the Grenoble ski run and just a few feet off the scenic shores of Weber Lake. The European style construction features your very own cedar sauna, living kitchen and dining area, and a private outdoor deck affording dramatic waterfront and mountain views. Enjoy the 43 ski runs of Whitecap, ice fishing and ice skating right outside your front door! The alpine setting offers breathtaking views along with a charming vintage decor.

Enjoy the privacy of your rental with the amenities of a nearby lodge! Utilize the hot tub and pool in the main lodge after a fun day on the slopes in winter, hiking in summer and fall, or waterfall touring in spring. Order carry-out from the lodge, or cook together in your own fully equipped kitchen.

Slopeside Chalet boasts one large bedroom and has ample closet space and a large foyer help keep you organized and store any extras for all the fun activities.

You will not run out of fun things to do all year round at Slopeside Chalet! Enjoy skiing out your front door in winter along with snowmobiling, cross country skiing, ice fishing, snowshoeing, and cozy nights by the fireplace. In spring summer and fall, enjoy hiking on the elevated terrain at the picturesque slopes right outside your door, go fishing on Weber Lake, or kayak or ATV over to the famous Wine Hut and beyond. Corrigan’s Lookout is only five minutes away and offers views as far as the eye can see; and Foster Falls is roughly 15 minutes away.

NOTE: Three bedroom unit available for additional rent located above the one bedroom chalet. Three bedroom features a sauna, fully equipped kitchen, open concept living space, balcony and fireplace. Rent both for a large group.

NOTE: there is one exterior security camera located near the door of the property facing the patio so we can keep an eye on snow levels and shoveling needs. There are no security cameras located inside the chalet.

Whitecap for skiing!

Chalet is in a perfect location if your goal is to access whitecap for skiing. The ski in/out was awesome! The house is as pictured and in need of some updating, but is a place to rest easily in the evening after skiing. Owners are responsive if needed!

Ski trip!

Jen was responsive and helpful. A huge blizzard was coming making travel unsafe and owners worked with us to adjust the timing of our trip. We squeezed our three littles into the one bedroom and my hubby and I slept on an air mattress in the living room. This worked for our young family as living/dining room were spacious and kids were zonked from skiiing during the day. Sauna was super fun after a day on the slopes.

Over all Great! Like the new carpet, cause everything else is out dated but clean. Furniture very good. Closet door in bedroom was off hinges and leaning on closet, but luckly my husband is handy. Nice getaway....always enjoyed Whitecap Mtn. Now they need to get Main Lodge built again....hopefully their able.

Location, location, location

True ski-in, ski-out with a front porch view of the main chairlift. Short walk to the lodge, pool and bar. The place is small, but we fit 2 adults and four kids no problem. Wood fireplace is a nice touch and really adds to the ski chalet feel. Everything we needed (except a corkscrew?!)was close at hand and easy to access. Amazingly, power stayed on through a nasty ice storm, so that was nice too!

SKI/APRES SKI//SLEEP/REPEAT

This is a great place for a couple as your Whitecap base! We stayed here twice so far this ski season. To get here, you drive past the rental shop parking lot towards the lake and follow the road between the main chair lift and Weber Lake. Park on the road below the unit. This is the lower unit and it has 1 bedroom with a queen size bed. We arrived after dark the first night and did not know where the firewood was, was able to spot the woodshed tucked on the right side off the deck when we took the lift up in the morning. You have a great view of the base and can see exactly when the first chair starts running which really gets you excited to hit the slopes! You can keep your skis at the bottom of Slopeside and walk up the hill past Mineshaft to ski down to the main chair. Also, can easily ski back to Slopeside from the hotel post lunch or dinner without having to drive over. We enjoyed the sauna, and a woodfire every night! Recommend bringing newspaper to help with draft/fire starting (I brought a small bundle of kindling and a second lighter as well the second time). There is a full kitchen with microwave, coffee maker and filters. (did not find a good sharp knife). The wifi worked great, and there is a smart tv we were able to watch the Super Bowl on. There was no hand soap in the bathroom or kitchen, thankfully I had a bar with for the first visit but I brought hand soap pumps with the next. The bedroom got toasty even with the heat turned way down so we kept the door open which helped. There is supposed to be a service that shovels but both visits were were there, we got dumped on and it did not get shoveled so we also brought a shovel with and cleared our deck and steps, which was also nice to be able to shovel the car out Monday morning! We had a quick text response from the host the first night we had a question. Note that it is $5 per person per day to use the pool/hot tub at the hotel. Look forward to staying here again!
