Escape to Village on Aurora, your downtown Ironwood retreat! Steps from the City Square and Historical Ironwood Theater, with Lake Superior's beaches and waterfalls a short drive away. Enjoy trails for hiking, biking, and more, plus EV chargers nearby. This condo features local Upper Peninsula decor, a king bed, and sleeper sofas, perfect for a comfortable stay in the heart of it all.

Please note that our Village on Aurora properties are located in the heart of the entertainment district. Guests may experience music, events, or other outdoor activities nearby during their stay. These sounds and gatherings are part of the vibrant atmosphere of the area.



Other Things to Note:

✅ This property has special local compliance requirements which include a signed rental agreement, ID verification, and a security hold of $1000 (which is not a traditional security deposit, just a pending transaction). As an optional alternative to the security hold, you may opt in to purchase a non-refundable damage waiver provided by a third-party insurance company. The optional damage waiver is $40 for stays up to 10 nights, with an additional $2 per day for stays longer than 10 nights. Damage waiver purchases are optional.

We were in town for a family wedding, so really only slept & showered here. This upper unit is in the back of the building, but the music fom the bodega across the street can still be heard.

Our stay in Ironwood was wonderful. The only trouble we had was with the door. We did not get any instructions prior to arrival so had to call for code. Very prompt with getting back to us. There were no instructions on locking the door so our room was not locked when we were out.

Great apartment so close to everything - a walk to the coffee shop or dinner is super convenient! The apartment is clean and tidy with everything you need for a couple night stay! Communication with the host was superb and easy coded check in all made it a perfect stay!

We really enjoyed our short stay here. The room was very homie and we loved that we could bring our dog along. Wonderful location! There was a walking path near by to take our dog and we could easily walk to get coffee and lunch near by.

Ironwood Visit

I booked last minute and communication was prompt and accommodating. The property is centrally located to shops, historic sites, bars/restaurants and outdoor activities. Clean & well maintained. Nice extra touches (games, coffee). Very pleasant.

Great find in downtown Ironwood

I stayed here for a couple nights while in town for Ironwood Festival and a birthday party. The exterior of the building is not impressive but don't be put off by that, what you will find is that the second level apartment is large, welcoming, and extremely well-appointed. Wifi, air conditioning, and Roku TV all worked great. I didn't use the kitchen but it appeared to have whatever one would need for cooking and eating in, and the king bed in the roomy bedroom was very comfortable. Downtown Ironwood is small and you can easily walk to any restaurant, shop, bar, point of interest, etc. -- highly recommend Cold Iron Brewery, which is a 2 minute walk. This place is a real find and I will look forward to staying here again in the future!

This is our go to place everyone time we go up to Ironwood to visit family. It’s always clean, welcoming, feels like home. Convenient to restaurants, shopping and the brewery!

Great Place for the Area

We loved the place. It was clean, very well kept, and had everything we needed. It was easy to walk around town and had a nice parking area. I would have given 5 stars but the furnace wasn't working and it got pretty cold over the weekend. Otherwise all was great.

Great stay

This place was great! Easy to find, the owner had automated emails full of useful info, and the condo was clean and comfortable. The only snags were a remote without batteries and the air conditioner in the bedroom wasn't working to cool much, but the AC in the main part of the condo was strong! We'd definitely come back next time we're in town!

Clean, comfortable and quiet

We had a brief stay, but we really enjoyed how clean this apartment was. Our kids enjoyed the board games and all the extra space in the living area. The king size bed was very comfortable and it was very quiet, would definitely stay here again!
