The Golden Sands, located in Ocean City, offers everything a vacationer could want without needing to leave the building complex. Enjoy the beach, indoor and outdoor pools, tennis, oceanfront volleyball, and game and exercise rooms! During the summer season, visit the beach bar and grill, sandwich shop, convenience store, and gift shops.

Wake up every single day to the unmistakable sound of the crashing waves at this perfect condo! It has everything you and your guests could ever need to spend a carefree and restful vacation. It features a well-equipped kitchen with all the essentials, including a Keurig, central air-conditioning, a private balcony overlooking the water, on-site washer/dryer for your laundry needs, comfortable and inviting furniture, ample storage space, and cable TVs in each bedroom.

Things to Know
The building provides complimentary WiFi as a courtesy, but it is not guaranteed.
The indoor pool and large outdoor pool will not accommodate children in diapers. There is an outdoor kiddie pool provided for children in diapers.
Per building management, cannabis is prohibited everywhere on the Golden Sands grounds.
Ocean City has adopted a noise control ordinance that makes it unlawful to cause or permit noise levels which exceed those established by the Department of the Environment of the State of Maryland (COMAR 26.02.03.02) or are in violation of Chapter 30, Article V of the Town Code. It shall be a violation of this agreement and grounds for eviction under Maryland law if these noise levels are exceeded as a result of activity on this property. Ocean City has other noise ordinances, which are criminal offenses if violated.

Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

Due to local laws or HOA requirements, guests must be at least 25 years of age to book. Guests under 25 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian for the duration of the reservation.

pros: super beautiful and clean unit with the greatest view! we absolutely love it. cons: very hard beds and wobbly, almost broken dining room chairs. however, the unit and view, trumps all.

Could be better

I thought I was getting ocean front. Well it was kind of because it was angled to the right. So if I look to my right I can see ocean side people and condo. We were right at the end if I looked to the left it was all ocean. I feel like ive been duped. The view was 3 out of 5. The place needed work from previous people. Cleaning staff could have done a better job. They needed to inspect this place before the next people come in and fix what needs to be fixed. After halfway through we were able to enjoy a better experience instead of waiting on maintenance and various calls to have them come fix things. For the next people that get the place we had they may give it a better rating for all the issues we had to take care of. On the good note access to the beach was great, I couldn't say enough of how friendly the staff and maintenance people were. There was little to no noise with other people there. And if I was facing the ocean I would have made this a better rating because up on the 20th floor the view would have been even better then my angled place.

Nice Little Condo

The condo was very nice and it definitely had enough room for me, my husband, my two small children, and my parents. You can tell that the owner had upgrades with the Thomasville kitchen cabinets and tile in the bathrooms. The condo was clean for the most part but I think that somebody needs to come in and regrout or caulk the floors of the shower. It was black around the edges especially in the guest bathroom which made us bleach them ourselves because it looks like mold. It could also use a deep cleaning because there is dust sticking to the walls near the air conditioning vents. It didn’t ruin our stay though. We really enjoyed the hotel!

Renting the property was easy. The room itself was dusty. The vent was coated with dust causing all of us to have some allergy problems.

We arrived & the beds looked like they had been slept in. The master bath sink was clogged & would not drain. The dishwasher leaked all over the kitchen floor. Blinds were broken, there was sand on the couch, fingernails on the floor in the living room area, the dishes were filthy. Contacted management and was told that someone would be in touch and never received a call from anyone. This was a complete disappointment for as much as it cost.

Cozy

We had a restfull weekend, although we weren’t able to enjoy the beach because of the storm and strong wind, but really enjoyed staying in room 2013. Updated,fully furnished and very cozy. :)
