House in the Woods

Enjoy our Woodsy Escape with 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms to accommodate up to 6 adults and children. The interior includes living room and master bedroom fireplaces, updated kitchen, and new bedroom carpet. Exterior has been freshly painted and a new walkway created. We continue with updates for the patio and yard.
Cozy up for quiet time in front of the lovely fireplace for a movie, good book, or take a quiet walk throughout the beautifully wooded Tollgate community, located minutes from downtown Sisters for great shopping, restaurants, breweries and tasting rooms.
The Sisters community offers a breadth of events throughout the year, including the Sisters Outdoor Quilt Show, Rodeo, Folk Festival and Harvest Faire, as well as a variety of live music. The nearby Deschutes National Forest offers trails, rivers, lakes, and scenic drives.
Sisters is an outdoor sports mecca with activities for local snow sports, fishing, golfing, birding and more. Choose a 20-minute drive to HooDoo or 1-hour drive to Mt. Bachelor, golf at Black Butte, bike the Tollgate neighborhood or Peterson Ridge Trail, hike the McKenzie River Trail, or fish the Metolius and Deschutes Rivers.

We loved staying at the house in the woods. For a family it was the perfect house. The kitchen had everything we needed and more to cook for a family of six. We can’t wait to visit again.

We came for our Anniversary. The house was beautiful!!! Pictures do not do justice. We had a great time. Enjoyed the deer that visited daily. House was very well stocked with everything we needed. Host was great with communication. Would and will stay here again!!

Big Ponderoo House

Great spot for attending the Big Ponderoo Music Fest - about 5 minutes away which was nice to get out of the fray of Sisters on a holiday - highly recommend The Big Ponderoo and The House in the Woods - also great bike riding right from the house!

Lovely quiet neighborhood

Overall the stay was very nice. We were a little sad there was no furniture /lawnchairs to sit outside. And I'm sorry i forgot to run the dishwasher when i left.

Nice getaway

It was nice and quiet, got to enjoy the fireplace while the snow fell. The towel warmer was an awesome surprise also.

Great home base for family and adventure

We have small kids that we’re just delighted to suit up in snow gear and walk in the neighborhood and play in the snow in the yard. Really close to Sisters proper, but still a destination location. Also, the house was perfect, the house was well laid out, great family room space and we’ll stocked. We had a blast.

Great stay!

We had such a lovely stay here over the 4th of July!! This place is in a great location! We were surprised because the place was even nicer than the pictures showed. The house was extremely clean and we even got to go to the neighborhood pool one afternoon. My only recommendation would be to add a full length mirror to one of the rooms. Thanks for letting us stay here, would recommend/book again!

Beautiful Home in the Pines

Beautiful, immaculate home. Short bike ride to Sisters,OR. Loved be surrounded by pine trees and watching the deer graze in the yard. Just lovely. The pictures don’t do it justice.

Fabulous house. Had a few AC issues but owner was great

The house is in a great location, easy to find, and is beautiful and very well maintained and updated. We had a few issues with the AC resetting itself but Fran was great to work with and helped as much as she could. We rented the house during the Sisters Quilt Show and if anyone is looking to do the same, we brought our own folding tables and set 3 up in the living room, leaving the large dining room table open for meals so you could easily fit 3-5 sewists if you bring folding tables.
