Townhome style apartment with Amazing Views of Lagoa and Sea AND a dedicated Parking Space located 15 meters from the Door!!. Both bedrooms are located on the upper level, along with the Full Bathroom. The Living Room, Dining Room, and Kitchen are located on first level. Sleeper Sofa converts to a Full Bed and also available is a Twin Rollaway Bed. Home comes with Fully-Equipped Kitchen, all Linens and Towels, plus Beach Towels and Toys/Sports Balls.

The location was perfect! Walking distance to the beach and amazing ocean views. This condo felt like a home, it is stocked with essentials and beach fun. It comes with a washer and dryer which came in handy and our host was readily available and provided some great recommendations. You won’t be disappointed staying here.

This place was amazing! The family really enjoyed our stay and Dave was super helpful! Highly recommend this to any family of 4! The house is SUPER close to the beautiful beach and had tons of amenities.We did a puzzle and all the pieces were there! We cannot wait to go back!!!

Perfect space in a perfect place

We love Foz! This apartment was perfect for our family; it was close to the beach, cafes, and restaurants. Check in/out was easy and the apartment was superbly maintained.

Fantastic beach, best view of sunset ever!!!

Would return again for sure! Beautiful views all day long & spectacular sunset from balcony. Loved our time at Foz, fab location. Recommend it for sure!

Wonderful sea views

Be aware that there is no AC in the apartment. The sea breeze is cold enough throughout the day, but with the shutters down (guest room does not have curtains) it can become somewhat warm. Fans are available though. Roomy apartment with wonderful sea views. It is overlooking a road, but there’s not much traffic. Best thing: you can just walk to the beach (way down is more relaxed than way up, because of steep hill). Great to have a washer and dryer. There is no dishwasher though. The guest bed was fine, the master bed was covered with some type of polyester, as was the duvet, which made it too hot to sleep on and under. There was a dog regularly barking next door, but otherwise it was quiet.

Apartment in Foz do Arelho

The location of the apartment is superb and David the host could not have been more helpful with all our questions. You are walking distance from the beach and a row of bars and restaurants. The apartment feels like a home - it's stocked with all sorts of useful beach stuff (wind shield, boogie board, sand toys, umbrella etc...). The kitchen has everything you need too. The apartment is more than spacious for a family of 4. Decent bedroom sizes, nice big bathroom. If I were to be picky, I'd recommend a couple of upgrades:- 1. Better bedding. The rooms can get hot, so lightweight cotton mattress covers would be good. You don't want anything synthetic 2. Second bedroom would benefit from two twin beds that can either be separated or pushed togehter. My kids were ok sharing, but they won't be as they get older! 3. Shower works fine, but the cubicle was starting to look a little tired

Megan, I appreciate the feedback regarding the bedding. The full size bed in the second bedroom is as advertised on VRBO. When we are in our home in Foz, we usually have couples visiting, so the full sized bed works out better for us....We replaced the sliding glass shower enclosure in the bathroom about 2 years ago, but I have to scrape the caulking, bleach it, and recaulk it every fall. The humidity in Foz do Arelho is persistent!!! I am pleased that you enjoyed Foz and our home away from home. We love the area and we love to share our home with great guests like yourself. Dave

Apanhamos uma semana com pouco sol e o tempo humido fazia-se sentir. Nao há,ou nao conseguimos descobrir um serviço de take away razoavel por perto. O único "perto" era ridicularmente caro para a quantidade servida, embora a confecção fosse de qualidade.

Sadly, I cannot control the weather, so that point is moot....and when did we start critiquing and penalizing Owners for the quality of the food and takeaway service of local restaurants/cafes??? Apparently the apartment was fine because nothing bad was said about that part of the stay.... Our local cafes and restaurants are swamped in the summer months, so finding a table can be difficult, I agree. But we are less than 10km to Caldas da Rainha that has ample restaurants, many takeaways (even Burger King, Kentucky Fried Chicken, (2) McDonald's, etc.), and food trucks everywhere throughout town. Foz do Arelho's town section (away from the Beach) also has multiple sit-down restaurants, cafes, and takeaways to choose from, as well as (4) local groceries that provide everything for a home cooked meal.

We discovered Foz do Arelho about 8 years ago visiting my Aunt and Uncle (also PT Residents) and fell in love with Portugal!! This is our home and we try to make it as comfortable for ourselves as well as our guests.

The location is fantastic for Beach access, the Coastline, and the Beach Cafes/Restaurants. Our views of the Sea and the Lagoa from Both Decks make Sunsets a never ending dream every time we visit.
