Thundering Sea at The Village at North Pointe is your front-row seat to Depoe Bay’s legendary coastline, an oceanfront, first-floor condo with sweeping views from the living room and the primary suite, plus a private balcony where whale watching is often as easy as stepping outside with your coffee. With 2 bedrooms and 2 baths, it’s a cozy, comfortable fit for up to 4 guests, perfect for a romantic getaway or a laid-back trip with friends or family, with the sound of crashing waves as your constant soundtrack.



Inside, the open layout makes it easy to spend time together while still having room to spread out. Settle into the living room’s comfy seating, warm up by the river rock gas fireplace, and stream your favorites on the large Smart TV with fast fiber Wi‑Fi. The kitchen is fully equipped with new stainless steel appliances, granite counters, and everything you need to cook and bake, plus a dining area for four, a Keurig and standard coffee maker, and a convenient wet bar in the living room for happy hour with a view.



Both bedrooms are set up as suites with king beds, luxury linens, and Smart TVs, giving everyone space and privacy after a day exploring the harbor, shops, and seafood spots in Depoe Bay. Both bathrooms were updated in 2025 with spacious, handicap-accessible walk-in showers (please note there is no bathtub in the condo). You’ll also have in-unit laundry, in-floor radiant heat, and easy access with no stairs needed in or out of the unit.



As a guest of The Village at North Pointe, you’ll also enjoy access to the on-site clubhouse with a two-level indoor pool and hot tub, workout room, DVD movie theater, and a game/activity room with card tables and a pool table, great for rainy-day fun or a relaxing reset between coastal adventures.



Guest Access:

This home uses door code entry for self-check-in; your door code is sent by email and text 2 weeks prior to arrival. Early check-in and late check-out are available upon request (subject to availability). Please contact us at least 24 hours in advance.



The Village at North Pointe Complex Provides:

*The complex amenities are available for guest use during their stays, and are controlled and maintained by The Village at North Pointe HOA. The pool and hot tub are typically available year-round; hours and schedules are operated by the HOA. Complex amenities are accessed by separate access code provided in guest check-in details. The clubhouse does include bathrooms and free wi-fi.

- Your visit to Depoe Bay is sure to be a memorable one. There is a resident pod of grey whales which makes its home off Depoe Bay from March through December. Visitors from everywhere come to whale watch either from the new Whale Watch Center, the many shore observation spots or you can take a charter out for a closer look.

• Crashing Waves, Spouting Horns & King Tides

- A huge sea wall runs the length of the downtown area which enables visitors to shop or dine always within view of the ocean. This is the only town on the entire coast with this amenity. Waves run beneath lava beds and build pressure to spout water as high as 60 feet into the air. These are known as spouting horns and are visible during turbulent seas and stormy weather. Year round enjoy amazing crashing waves and you cannot miss experiencing the King Tides each winter season with the highest tides and waves of the year!

• World's Smallest Navigable Harbor

- Depoe Bay has the smallest natural navigable harbor in the world consisting of six square acres. Because of the proximity to the ocean, fishermen or whale watchers can be from dockside to viewing or fishing in a matter of minutes.

Getting Around:

The Village at North Pointe Condominium complex is located at the north end of Depoe Bay, which is approximately 11 miles south of Lincoln City and 13 miles north of Newport. Traveling from Portland, take Hwy 99W towards Lincoln City (Oregon Coast), follow signs to the coast and that will put you onto Hwy 18, head toward Lincoln City and that will put you onto Hwy 101 (heading South). Stay on Hwy 101 South through Lincoln City 11 miles to Depoe Bay. Look for the “The Village at North Pointe” sign. (The bike path is on the north side right before the entrance.) Parking is provided within the complex parking lot and along the highway.

While Depoe Bay is more well-known for its gorgeous rocky coastline than for beaches, there is beach access only 5 minutes north of the complex off Hwy 101. Make sure to visit the State Park Fogarty Creek Beach for walkable beaches, exciting tide pools, hiking and covered picnic & BBQ areas!



Interaction with Guests:

Blue Pacific Vacation Rentals by Portoro communicates via email and phone. After a booking is confirmed, rental agreement will be emailed to the guest for e-signature. Check-in instructions are sent by email and text message 14 days (or less) prior to arrival date (keyless entry). We offer convenient keyless entry for self-check with no need to stop in at a local office. We do typically check in with guests by text 1-2 times during their stays to ensure a 5-star experience and remain available for any questions/inquiries. We are available to guests 24/7, including our afterhours emergency service.
