Cette maison récemment rénovée offre l'escapade parfaite en famille / amis. Il dispose de 4 chambres (3 lits queen et un lit superposé), une cuisine en granit, de nouveaux appareils, une nouvelle laveuse et sécheuse, un coin repas, un salon, un bar, un foyer au gaz, une climatisation / chauffage centrale, des téléviseurs dans le salon et un bar avec câble et WiFi, et barbecue à gaz extérieur. Maison récemment meublée avec une touche rétro moderne. En marchant dans cette douce maison, vous ne pouvez pas vous empêcher de vous sentir heureux. Tout est fourni pour vous, y compris des draps propres, des serviettes, des couvertures, une glacière, un sac de plage, des chaises de plage, etc. Le porche couvert couvert confortable se trouve en plein cœur de cette communauté de plage et offre une vue sur l'océan. Cette maison est à 250 pieds à pied d'une plage privée (droits de plage cédés) et à 5 minutes à pied d'un club de plage local, d'un marché aux poissons, de 4 restaurants et bars et d'un magasin d'alcools. La ville possède également 2 brasseries populaires et un superbe centre-ville plein de boutiques et de restaurants. Cette propriété est à 10-15 minutes en Uber de New Haven, ou à 5 minutes en voiture de la gare Shoreline East de Branford pour des connexions via New Haven à Boston, Springfield, New York ou Washington D.C.

Trash pickup is 4 AM on Monday. Please put trash & recycle bins on patio next to the mailbox Sunday evening & then put away behind house on Monday.

Excellent vacation home! You couldn’t ask for a better location. The house was very clean and the amenities were very appreciated. My kids really enjoyed the “teen space” on the sunporch to play games or watch tv. The hosts were very responsive & shared some great local recommendations. In addition to the private beach, we were easily able to travel to Madison, Niantic, and Mystic. We had no luck surf fishing, but everything else was perfect. Thank you!

Owner was very flexible with our last minute arrival dates. Great little house. Note that beach is mostly private so while photos show large beach, much is not for use. Upstairs rooms are nice, but walls are very thin, so not really able to have it quiet for one room if others are up in another. You can hear everything.

My houseguests stayed here with very young children. They had a great time in this house. I really like the beach that goes with this house. It is not at all crowded. The hosts were gracious, generous, accommodating and communicative. The house was very clean and had everything provided, including a Pack-n-Play! One of my guests thought the beds were very comfortable. The laundry was convenient. The kids loved the playroom with the provided coloring books, crayons, and toys. The four bedrooms made the house feel spacious enough even when there were 4 children inside. That said, there are walls between the bedrooms that are only single sheets of paneling...some even have spaces in between the panels so that you can see into a bedroom through the wall. I found the driveway very difficult to turn around in, and only 2 parking spaces on a busy road with no parking made visiting difficult.

Great Family Getaway

A wonderful home and great location

We loved our stay at this beautiful cottage. The entire experience was very smooth, from pre-check in to getting there and even offers to help with anything we needed in our stayThe cottage is very cozy and well-cared for. The rooms are comfortable and the Internet fast. There is a lot to do in the area, with New Haven nearby and many good restaurants.

Comfortable Summer Cottage for year round use

My husband and I stayed in this lovely home for a long weekend while attending the Soundside music festival. A Great Getaway

We were looking for a place to visit during this summer of COVID. We wanted to avoid crowds but enjoy some time at the beach. During the week, the beach had very few people. The house was very close to the beach. We had four adults and one child. There was plenty of room. We had a great stay!

Lovely home

This home was perfect for our needs. We grew up in Branford and we’re back to visit family. It was nice to be so close with a little room to spread out. We took our 2 young grandchildren with us and we’re so grateful for the gates for the stairs! Beds were comfortable. Kitchen was comfortable. Parking was tight but owner makes that clear up front so wasn’t a problem for us. We look forward to staying again in the future!

Such a cute home!!

We really enjoyed our 4 days in Branford. Everyone was so friendly. Enjoyed lobster at Lenny’s and the guacamole at Guacamole’s was excellent!! The town is very nice. We also went to the Branford Art Center and chatted with Yvonne. And don’t miss The Rock Garden gift shop. And cappuccino and caprese at Pasta Cosi wonderful. The vrbo owner Liz was a text away if we needed anything. The beds were soooo comfortable. Liz added so many little touches, we felt very pampered. Hope to come back some day!!

The perfect weekend, getaway with friends

our annual girls (5) trip took us to Branford, CT this year. It was awesome to have a private beach access even though we couldn’t get in the water, but it was great for strolls and shell collecting. Would definitely do better with a second bathroom, but we managed just fine. Overall, it’s a nice little place to stay for a getaway. My only issue is not with the hosts or place, but with one of the fees and the checkout process. However, it does not take away from our stay.

Hi Rebecca, I’m so sorry that you had an issue with our checkout process and your preference for a 2nd bathroom. We also wish we could offer a 2nd bathroom, but the layout doesn’t really allow for one. That is why we specify one bathroom in the listing. Our cleaning fee is a standard fee that is advertised upfront, as part of the listing, so that all interested travelers are aware before they book. It covers the cost of a cleaning team to come into the home and launder the linen, clean the entire home, and prepare it for the next guests. I know that you mentioned in your departure text that you wished you could have a portion of the cleaning fee back because you left the home clean, but we pay a professional service a flat rate (which is more than the fee we charge our guests) for a thorough cleaning of the entire home after every guest departs. We were hoping to enjoy sunsets on the porch. Unfortunately, the patio furniture was less than comfortable and clean. Cushions were dirty and torn, only 2 chairs around the table had cushions. The property has great potential, it is in need of a spring cleaning. Hair on the beds, mold in the washing machine, front porch needs to be hosed off and the shrub around the porch tended.

We absolutely love Branford. My husband grew up spending his summers in Branford with his parents. As adults, we would visit often, but always dreaded having to leave. We started our family later in life having 2 boys in our late 30s and early 40s. The boys love visiting "Mama" in Branford and swimming at her beach. So in 2016 we decided to start looking for a house along the shore. Within a few months of searching, we purchased a home on Limewood Beach (just a few hundred yards away from this one) and fell in love with the neighborhood.

Five months later, we purchased this beach house with the intention of completely rebuilding it. We converted this house from a seasonal cottage to a year-round home. EVERYTHING in the home is new, from the floors to the ceilings. New kitchen, bathroom, HVAC, fireplace, siding, roof, porch, appliances, water main, on-demand hot water heater, smoke alarms, CO detectors, and outside shower. It is our dream to one day pass down these nearby homes to our two sons so that they can be close to each other while raising their children and grandchildren along the shore.

The CT shoreline is a beautiful place to enjoy all 4 seasons from. The ocean has a calming and relaxing effect all year round. This property is ideal because it has been completely remodeled with brand new everything. It's 250 feet from the beach and we have deeded beach rights. The people in this beach community are very laid back and friendly. It feels as if stress doesn't exist along the beach... The home is situated in a perfect location and you can do everything from fishing, canoeing and kayaking to just relaxing on the new porch and enjoying the water views. There are 5 local restaurants and bars a half-mile walk from the house, and you will see lots of people walking, jogging, skateboarding, and bicycling along the beach to and from these local restaurants.

Located 5 minutes from the Branford train station, 10 minutes from the airport, and 15 minutes from the New Haven train station makes this destination a possibility for those who want to come from all over without a car. Uber and a comfortable pair of sandals is all you need to get around to all of the local attractions.
