Blue Spruce Cabin Sum

Summary:
Three story home near the West Entrance of Yellowstone.

The Space:
This beautiful home is located just 10 miles from the west entrance of Yellowstone.  It is nestled in the quiet neighborhood of "Lazy Acres" amongst the quaking aspen trees.  In the summer, you can use the adjacent Forest Service trails for hiking.  In the winter months, you can ride your snowmobiles right from the house.  There is plenty of space in the driveway for parking snowmobile and boat trailers.  Garage access is available for guests and can be heated for an additional charge, please inquire with us for rates.  There is plenty of space to accommodate up to 12 people.  The kitchen is fully equipped for cooking all of your meals and dining together, and there is a full size washer and dryer available for your use.

The garage is available for guest use.  It is not normally heated, but can be for an additional charge.

If you have a large group, you can also book the adjacent Alpine Star Lodge that accommodates 10 guests!

*Although 4 wheel drive is not required to get to the house, we definitely recommend it for our area from November - April, as road conditions are often "snowpacked and icy".

Great Stay

Property is just as described, close to Yellowstone and secluded. Plenty of room for everyone and the owner was very responsive with our questions.

Gorgeous home and location

We stayed with extended family and the location couldn’t have been more perfect. Less than 10 mins to the West Entrance and downtown area. Highly recommend renting a boat or swimming at Hebgen Lake

Great cabin

Clean, cozy yet spacious cabin. Perfect for our party of 6 adults and 4 children. Well stocked kitchen and quality bath and bed furnishings and products. A bonus was the back covered porch with 2 picnic tables. We loved our stay here. We saw’s moose and baby moose from the front porch.

Great Place!

We loved this house! The 3 bathrooms (with heated floors) have all been updated. It had the best equipped kitchen you could ask for. It sleeps 14 and was super cozy. We would rent it again!

Great rustic home!

We enjoyed our stay at Lazy Acres... it was in a great location to visit Yellowstone. The house was clean with lots of beds, linens, games, DVDs, awesome kitchen supplies, coffee and spices left out, plus it was dark and quiet at night. It’s a great, fun, log-cabin house with 3 levels for the kids to enjoy!

A Perfect Rental for Large Families

This rental was very clean and well equipped upon arrival. It was the perfect size for our family of 11 with 3 full baths and the 3rd level dormer with 6 beds was perfect for all the kids. The property was so convenient to both a variety of restaurants and the entrance to Yellowstone Park - we couldn’t have been more pleased.

Wonderful cabin for family get together

This cabin was the perfect spot for our family of 11 to spend a few days together enjoying the beauty of the surrounding area. We had been told the covid cleaning routine, but the spray sanitizer left so we could use it to be comfortable with the cleaning was a wonderful kindness we appreciated.

Fantastic house to rent close to a Yellowstone!

Lazy acres house was in a perfect location!! The kitchen was stocked with everything you would ever need(Every spice you can think of). The house was perfect for a family of 9! 6 adult and our 3 grandchildren ages 2, 8 and 11. We would defiantly recommend it to family and friends!!

Great stay for large family visiting Yellowstone

This house was a great fit for extended family with 9. The locations is just a few miles outside of West Yellowstone and the west park entrance. The town had everything we needed as we entered and left the park each day. The house had a well equipped kitchen that also opened up to a nice gathering space. The bedrooms upstairs offered privacy for everyone as well.

Great visit!

Nice cabin 15 minutes from the west park entrance. Our group of 11 was comfortable and warm for our mid October stay. Spent each day in the park which was beautiful (and cold). Kitchen and bathrooms were best stocked we have seen. A few cabins nearby but we rarely saw anyone else when at the cabin. Beds were all comfortable. Overall very good place to stay!

Great for teens and kids

This cabin was perfect for our 2 families with teenagers. The 3rd floor had plenty of beds for everyone and lots of outlets and charging stations, which is important to the teens! We were so busy visiting the park that we wished we had scheduled more time to just enjoy the cabin, which was stocked with movies and games. It was comfy and had everything we needed for a great vacation.

PERFECT - Better than expected

This cabin was perfect for our family’s vacation stay. The cabin is laid out well, with plenty of space for family games, etc. Important: the towels were SOFT, the beds were COZY, and the couches were COMFORTABLE. Just 8 minutes from West Yellowstone. The kitchen is newly remodeled and very nice. Very clean. I would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Perfect Spot

This house was a perfect base camp for our winter excursion into Yellowstone. Well appointed kitchen, upgraded and new bathrooms, comfortable beds, and a kitchen table made for big groups. (Most often I find the VRBO pictures are better than reality but that was not the case with this charming house)

Easy access to Yellowstone

We really enjoyed our stay at this property. The property was very clean and the kitchen was well supplied. Property has easy access to the West entrance to Yellowstone. Dryer in house did not work, but the one in the garage worked fine. Lots of games and movies for renters to enjoy. Would love to come back!

Perfect Spot to stay for our daughter's West Yellowstone Wedding!

This place is so cozy and well-appointed! The host even put tables in the garage for me to arrange the flowers the night before our daughter's wedding. Loved all the accommodations - the beds were comfy, the kitchen was loaded with everything we needed, the back porch was a delightful spot to sit and play games and relax. And... Three Bathrooms!!! We loved our stay - everyone kept saying, "We should come back here!" I think we will!

Beautiful clean tidy cabin.

We loved our stay at the Blue Spruce Cabin. Everything was very clean. We would definitely stay there again. I only have 2 minor complaints, 1- the internet is to slow to download and 2- the sticker weeds in the front yard hindered our outdoor games.
