Great sleeping

This condo was nicely appointed, comfortable beds, quality supplies, but the best was the sound of the ocean waves at night. I had 4 of the best nights sleep I’ve had in years.

Beautiful, Relaxing Seaside Cindo

Very nice owner. Perfect location for us—away from the hubbub of downtown Monterrey, but walkable to everything. Comfortable accommodations with everything needed for longer stays (cookware, W/D, etc.). Would definitely book again!

Stay Review

The location is very good. Easy drive to anywhere in the area. My wife was recovering from a hip replacement and the 33 stair steps to the unit were a challenge for her. The views and setting were stunning and we spent most of our time on the front balcony enjoying the ocean. The grill on the back deck was not usable, but overall we enjoyed our stay.

Yes, the views on the setting are spectacular. Thank you for letting me know about the grill. I did not know that until now. That Must have happened during the windstorm that also took down the umbrella while you were there. I also didn’t realize your wife was recovering from hip surgery. Had I known that I would’ve let you know that the entire complex at Ocean Harbor House has many steps to access the units.

Great Stay!

Beautiful views and home, you feel very posh staying here. Easy walk to the beach. Longer walk to anywhere else so this place is ideal for adults who dont mind walking. Lots of room for our family of four. I would recommend a more detailed cleaning of rugs, etc as those who are allergic to dogs (like myself) really felt the lack of dusting and cleaning of blankets and rugs. The back patio was amazing as well but also very dusty.

ocean nirvana

The condo is beautifully appointed with views of the ocean from one of two decks and inside from the dining nook. Easy access to the beach, though public felt very private as we often had the beach to ourselves with our two dogs. Breathing in the ocean breeze with close proximity to the best restaurants, aquarium, hikes and quaint shops made our monthly stay a wonderful escape from the worries of the world and was a refreshing and inspirational place to share with family and friends. The owner of the condo was very accommodating and gracious, answering all questions and concerns in a timely manner.. Would highly recommend this very special find for a wonderful ocean experience and vacation!

Relaxing getaway

Coming back "home" to Monterey and spending a month in this beautiful condo was so relaxing and wonderful! Patti is the best! There were flowers and a card welcoming my arrival and she was very prompt in answering any questions I had during my stay. The condo has a great view of the beach/ocean and back deck is a perfect place to soak up the sun. The beds are super comfy and the two murphy beds helped when everyone was there. The locations lends itself to walking on the beach and the trails. My family enjoyed the Aquarium and exploring the Elkhorn Slough--a hidden gem in Moss Landing. I will definitely come back and stay here! Thanks again Patti :)

Great stay in Monterey!

Location was perfect. Oceanfront with outstanding views. Easy access to CA 1 so travel anywhere on the peninsula is a breeze. We walked to Fisherman’s Wharf, downtown and even Cannery Row. Great restaurants and coffee shops everywhere. Our activities included hiking and golf. Both were excellent with numerous options. The redwoods were a sight to see! And the beaches in the area are gorgeous. We ‘cooked in’ often and the setup and supplies were great. Best I’ve ever had in a VRBO. Beds are very comfortable, towels are great, patios are beautiful. Patti was always available but everything was so great we really didn’t need her. :) I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this condo and we will absolutely look to stay here again when we return to the area. Thank you again for sharing your wonderful vacation home.

On the Beach...

The condo is right on Del Monte Beach with views of the beach and Monterey from every room. Spectacular sunsets. The location is convenient to grocery, shopping and restaurants. We walked from the condo along the beach to Fisherman's Wharf to buy fish at the market on the wharf. It's the best place in town to buy fresh fish and an easy drive. The kitchen is fully equipped and we ate in most evenings. We walked the beach with our dog every morning and walked the boardwalk along the beach every evening. We met lots of nice people during our stay. Everyone is friendly. The patio/porch off the master bedroom is sunny, warm and comfy but the front patio has all the views. There are steps up to the condo and down to the beach. Carmel Beach and the Valley are an easy drive from the condo and we were there in minutes. Dogs can run off leash at Carmel Beach. We were in town for the Concours d' Elegance (Car Show) at Pebble Beach which my husband loved. We had the windows open all day during our stay and fell asleep to the the sound of the waves. The weather was gorgeous. The owner is responsive and quite helpful. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will be back.
