Enjoy the peacefulness of El Cortez on Mustang Island, just three miles south of Port Aransas. You will love the open floor plan and spacious living room and bedrooms with ocean life décor carried throughout. Cable and WIFI are available in the condo with a TV in each bedroom. Gather everyone in the living room to watch a movie on the large TV while lounging on the couch or armchairs. The kitchen is equipped with everything needed to prepare meals such as spacious countertops, white appliances, a regular drip coffee maker, dishes, basic pots, pans and utensils. Enjoy meals at the dining table with seating for four and additional seating for two at the breakfast bar. Take your coffee out to the balcony to sip on in the ocean breeze. The master bedroom (BR1) consists of a King bed, nightstands, chest and closet. The ensuite bathroom holds a vanity, tub/shower unit and a full-size washer/dryer for your use during your stay. This room also has private access to the side patio. The guest bedroom (BR2) is made up of a Queen bed, a Twin over Twin bunk bed, nightstands and desk. The ensuite bathroom contains a vanity and tiled tub/shower unit. Use the golf cart accessible boardwalk to spend a day at the beach. Cool off in the shared pool or sit under the covered area with shared charcoal grills for cooking up the day's catch. El Cortez is just five minutes from Port Aransas offering a variety of restaurants, shops, nightlife and fishing charters.

Family getaway

Nice little community very close to beach. Condo was clean and has a well stocked kitchen. Only suggestion would be to bring extra trash bags and laundry detergent. Watch out for stickers in grass.

Super close to the beach!

Loved our mini getaway from the big city! The condo was super clean and just as described. Although my family and I weren’t able to go to the beach due to a thunderstorm, we still had a good time at the Texas state aquarium about 35 min from our stay and ended the night with a movie for the kids. We did go early morning before checking out to at least look at the beach. The only thing I recommend is to probably provide some detergent, other than that everything was great and we’ll definitely be back if the weather permits. P.S. the beach is about 8 min away walking distance so that was a plus :)

El Cortez

Overall the room was a great little spot the rooms were clean. Be sure to take extra laundry soap, shampoo towels. our towels had oil on them that we didn’t even use. Easy access to the beach walk wasn’t bad. A golf cart would make it much easier to load up but you have to get one ahead of time. Make sure you order your beach chairs etc that you get credit for in advance we got ours around 10am Saturday morning Beach was nice lots of campers, you get your beach pass at the stripes $12 for all year so you can park down there. Only thing we did not like is that there was oil that washed up from the rigs that were out there. The oil stained everything we had and stuck to our body.

Clean, Spacious, Great access to the beach

Loved our stay here. Everything was organized when we arrived. Parking passes were on kitchen counter. The bedrooms (especially the bunk bed room) were very spacious. The washer and dryer were amazing to have, and they worked very efficiently. The sidewalk/bridge to the beach is a straight shot, although I'd highly recommend renting a golf cart. (Having the golf cart made it perfection!) The best way to enter the condo from the beach is through the master bedroom, but that was fine. I wish there was a little more privacy on the back porch so we could hang towels or even a table where we could sit and enjoy a meal. It's such a great unused spot. I would have loved a little gate there and maybe some hooks on the fence so we could leave our yeti cooler, surfboard, boogie boards, towels, wet suits, beach tent out there. But overall, we loved it and would definitely stay again!

Great location for the beach

My stay was great. Just didn't like the part where they have a little sign of property that is VERY HARD TO SEE!! It took us about 20 mins to find it. And toilet seat in one of the bathrooms underneath was full of pee and it was disgusting. So many mosquitoes inside of property.... Other than that my stay was pleasant!
