Enjoy the peacefulness of El Cortez on Mustang Island, just three miles south of Port Aransas. This one-bedroom second-floor condo is nestled within the tropical landscape and offers all of the amenities of home. Decorated in neutral shades, the open living room is made up of a large, plush sectional with an ottoman that converts into a sofa sleeper, a TV with cable and a sliding glass door to the balcony. The full kitchen is equipped with all things needed to prepare a meal with spacious Corian countertops, white cabinets and stainless steel appliances, both a Keurig and regular drip coffee maker, dishes, basic pots, pans and utensils. Sit down for meals at the dining table with seating for six and two additional stools at the breakfast bar. The master bedroom (BR1) contains a King bed, a dresser, a closet and a TV. The ensuite bathroom holds a vanity and a large tiled shower with a glass door. There is also a full-size washer and dryer for your use during your stay. Take in the ocean breeze while sitting out on the balcony with your morning coffee or cold beverage. This complex offers a new golf cart accessible boardwalk to the beach. After a day of fun at the beach, cool off in the shared pool, or grill up snacks and dinner on the shared grills. El Cortez is just five minutes from Port Aransas offering a variety of restaurants, shops, nightlife and fishing charters.

Great little spot

Property was very clean and a lot bigger than expected. The AC unit was amazing along with the washer and dryer.

Nice spot

Comfy furniture and nice spot. Long walk to beach if you don't have a golf cart. Our only complaint was the shrimp smell from the fridge. The previous people who stayed must have left the odor for us.

Nice place but a bit of a hassle at check-in

It was a really cute place but we never got the text with check-in info. They were supposed to send it right at check-in time, but it never came, and there was nobody at their physical office location to help us. Internet reception was poor iin that area (1-2 bars and not consistent) so it was a real struggle to chase down the management to have the texts re-sent. However, once we got into the unit, we loved it. The bed was SO comfy!

Scouting for property to buy

Hard to find the entrance off the highway. No drinking glasses in the room, and TV cable box was complicated and we could not adjust volume or change channels. I was satisfied once the property manager called and apologized. Otherwise, the unit was cutely decorated and very clean/comfortable.

Cozy Seaside Stay

This is a cozy spot near the ocean, and everything you need for a serviceable stay. Kitchen is small but has the basics; however, be sure you bring condiments and extras (like coffee filters), as there is no basic stock of oil or salt, etc. They do provide dish soap and trash bags, however. I would also request management add wine glasses and/or water glasses, as the only thing to drink from are mugs. Otherwise, comfortable bed, good facilities, and a short walk to the ocean!

Very poor communication.

First off I love going to Port Aransas but I will not stay here again. First off we struggled for over an hour trying to get the wifi and TV to work. The number we were left to call was not the number of the number it was suppose to be. With the help of another manager we got a phone number and then we were provided a password that was totally different that what we were given. The directions to the condo were terrible had to ask at least three different people. Very little supplies No glasses, toaster or plug didn’t work never figured that out. Cabinet over microwave greasy. Floor made feet black. Clock in living room didn’t work. Pool ladder was loose. No hot pads. Description said 5 minute walk to beach must have meant run. I clocked it and in a quick pace it was 9 minutes and 45 seconds with carting nothing. The bed in couch was dirty and urine stain
