This beautiful home sits on almost 2 acres of wooded lot. Perfect for family getaway! Short walk to 1156-acre Kangaroo Lake, with calm waters and a sandy bottom. Great for swimming and kayaking in the summer, skating and ice fishing in the winter. Kangaroo Lake Public Boat Launch nearby, Lake Michigan public launch in Baileys. The location is excellent, it allows you to access all the peninsula towns within minutes. Baileys Harbor is just 10 min drive with all the wonderful restaurants and shops. Door County Brewery, The Ridges Center, Baileys Harbor County Park (beach, dogs allowed), Anclam Park (beach), Cana Island and much more. Snowmobiles trails and Cross-Country skiing just minutes away.

The home sleeps 10 people.
About sleeping arrangements:
Master bedroom with a king bed and walk in closet.
Second and Third bedroom with queen size beds.
Fourth bedroom with 1 twin size bunk beds and a queen size bed. There is also a full size sleeper couch in the lower level.

There is a nice size living room with a large smart TV on the main level.
Family room/ game room with a bar, smart tv, foosball table and more in a walk out lower level. Puzzles, books and board games.

Outdoor Space:
Wooded back yard, plenty of room for outdoor games. Firepit, chairs and picnic table.
There is a deck with a grill and outdoor furniture just outside the kitchen.
We provide one single and 2 double kayaks that you are welcome to use with a signed waiver. Yard games: Bocce ball set, Cornhole Boards, Badminton rackets, Basketball hoop, Ring swing game and 18 feet Aqua Lily Pad water carpet.

About the house: 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms, pets allowed, washer and dryer, AC, internet, smart TV's. 2 car garage plus plenty of parking on the driveway. Driveway is asphalt now/waiting for pictures.

Kitchen:
Fully stocked with all the appliances and pots, pans, plates, utensils for cooking and dinning. Moccamaster drip coffee maker. Weber Gas Grill.

We stayed with a group of 10 ages 3-80 and it was great. Plenty of space and A for kid friendly including a baby/toddler swing! The older kids loved the bunk bed room and the fire pit and the toddler loved the play table with cars. The kitchen was well-stocked for cooking for large groups and it was great being able to walk right to kangeroo lake.

We had a wonderful time at the property and the family mentioned many times how much they liked the house. We were able to spread out and all have our own space when needed, but the common rooms were big enough for all of us to come together for meals or relaxation. Kangaroo lake was a blast and we enjoyed taking the Kayaks there.

Great house and property. Lots of fun amenities for a family and whilenoff the beaten path is so close to Kangaroo Lake and is beautiful at night.

Wonderful Stay in Door County

We loved our stay near Kangaroo Lake. Anything we needed was a quick walk or drive, but the house itself had it all!

Kitchen and living room area was wide open, which was great for our group and birthday celebration weekend. The house was clean, plenty of room and sleeping spaces for our group of nine. Back yard was great for a fall evening bon fire. Host was easy going and easy to communicate with.

One of the cleanest properties we have ever stayed at. Kitchen extremely well equipped. Comfortable beds. Easy access to neighboring small towns. There is no public beach access to Kangaroo lake but there are other public beaches in Door county that aren’t terribly far away. Highly recommend this property.

This was our 2nd time staying at this property. It is very spacious, enough room for us, our kids, and our neices and nephews to spread out and enjoy. We come up every year for Fall Fest Family Reunion. The large table in the kitchen works so nice for pumpkin carving and game nights. Lots of great memories. We can't wait to come back again. Our host was also very responsive to messages.

Great spot!

We visited with our kids and another family. Plenty of space for 4 adults & 5 kids ages 8-13. Very clean. Well stocked kitchen. Yard games, basketball hoop & fire pit were great. Location is awesome-walk down to the lake, close to Baileys Harbor and easy to get to Egg Harbor, Fish Creek or Sister Bay.

Family of 6 loved this property!

This is a lovely house. It is very clean, quite comfortable and spacious. Kitchen is very well equipped with nice propane grill outside. The decor is simple and homey. Yard Is great. Location is nice because you are no more than 15-30 minutes from most Door County towns/activites. Owner was great and listing is accurate. We hope to stay here again!

Great place with lots of room.

The property was very clean and spacious. We were up for Fall Fest in Sister Bay. The location is very convenient to all the small city’s on the bay side. The road to this home quiet and it’s fun to walk around the block. Very little traffic. The back yard was great. Fire pit was huge. We ended up having a fire every night. The house had lots of room to move around on both floors. The kitchen had everything you could imagine you would need to cook anything. Pictures are very accurate. Plan to stay here again.

Amazing stay

We came up for a family reunion during Fall Festival. Our group consisted of my husband and I, our 2 adult children with their significant others, our nieces and nephews aged 9 through 22, and our dogs. There was plenty of space for everyone. The weather was beautiful, we enjoyed hanging out on the deck outside, playing cards and games at the huge dining room table, and playing in the huge lower level. They had everything we needed in the kitchen, and left a sweet welcome package as well. Our host responded very quickly when I asked the night before coming out if there was a crock pot (there was). Everyone in our group commented that they want to stay here again next year. We can't wait to come back.

Peaceful Retreat

Very nice home, very spacious, well equipped kitchen. Plenty of towels, linens and great supply of lake floats/toys. Excellent and timely communication with property manager. Dressers in the bedrooms would be very welcome. You need to hang your clothes or put them on the hanging shelf in closet if you don’t want to live out of your suitcase. Also an additional chair in the living room would be so helpful. My 93 year old dad was not able to sit on the sectional sofa, so he ended up sitting on the seat of his walker, since there were no other firm, higher chairs. But overall, a lovely place in a beautiful setting.

Hi Barbara, I usually don’t respond to reviews but I wish that you reached out to us about chair for your Dad. We have 6 chairs in the basement for situations like that. We don’t keep them upstairs because they would take too much room since the sectional sofa is large. I am glad to hear that overall you had a great stay. Next time just reach out to your host. I hope that you will stay with us again.

Super Property!

To be honest, the property looks great on pictures but even better in person! This property was the cleanest I have been to that I ever booked! The property is spacious and there is a lot of room for everybody. Owner even thought about people with kids as there is a little kids table with toys and a seperate bedroom with cool bunk beds! There is a nice living room area downstairs with a sectional couch and a TV, fussball table and a bar table! I highly recommend the fussball table for competition with your friends! Property has a great raised deck with a nice view toward the forest. Great for relaxing with morning coffee. There is a spacious yard behind the house that can be used for outdoor fun. Also a nice firepit and grill. Property is located in a quiet neighborhood but there is a significant distance between neighbors that you won’t bother them and they won’t bother you. Property had an advertised outside bar that I was actually not planning to use but it was damaged from a fallen tree. Owner instantly messaged me and informed me of the problem and tried to fix it before my arrival but was unable to. In no way this affected my stay but, I appreciated the communication effort! I loved my stay, I hoped the weather would be just a bit better but the property compensated for it and made my stay feel 10/10! I can’t recommend the property and the owner enough!

Annual Sister Get Away

This is a beautiful property and was perfect for the 7 of us. Even though the weather was snowy and cold, that didn't stop us from enjoying our time together. The house is clean, the pictures are accurate and the kitchen is fully stocked. We liked the quieter side of Door County, as we usually stay in Sister Bay. Simce our group is large, finding a house that met all are needs was not easy. This home met and exceed our expectations.

Fabulous house and a fabulous house

Agnes has a lovely home in Bailey’s Harbor. The house is HUGE and very easily sleeps 10. It’s walking distance to a great fish fry and not far from downtown Bailey’s. I stay here again 10/10.

Great place for a full family weekend!

This house was perfect for a family weekend. We enjoyed the outdoor space and spent the majority of our time out there! There was a nice desk, fire pit, and were even welcomed by the the local turkeys and chickens. Great place for kids and in driving distance to many of Door County’s attractions.

Great house in a great location!

Perfect for larger families. Amenities were perfect and we had ample cooking utensils and appliances although the microwave broke during our stay and was unusable. Communication was exceptional with the host/owner and would stay here again when in Door County. Easy access to Kangaroo Lake for swimming and kayaking and I loved that they allowed dogs too! Will be back and will be referring to others who need this size house in the future. Great job!

August vacay

We were joined by our granddaughter (age 6) and son-in-law. We all had a great time and enjoyed the house. Granddaughter was thrilled to get to sleep in a top bunk. We especially liked relaxing, reading on the deck. Thanks for providing a lovely place for our vacation.
