Just a few blocks from the beach, escape to this cozy little cottage that has a great sized porch wrapping around most of the house. You will be able to soak up the sunrise, sunset, barges coming and going, and watch the ships travel through the ship channel.

Site said King Bed, slept on hide abed so my wife and I could sleep comfortable, did not know you could not drink or cook with water, smelled like rotten eggs. Complete underneath of house was mud and water.

Quick Getaway

We booked late for a quick fishing trip. The house was okay. The bedroom air conditioner worked great, but the living room was hot! We stayed in late July when it is really hot outside. The BBQ grill was rusted out so don’t plan on cooking out. There is an amazing burger place close called The Jetty Shack. Best burger we’ve had in a while! The wrap around porch was nice for morning coffee.

love love LOVE this place for our family of 4, plus 2 furbabies. The location was perfect. Right by the jetty. We love that there werent people piled on top of us, which lead to quiet and peaceful nights. The place was extremely clean! We will definitely be back and have this place at the top of our list of places to stay in Surfside.

Slightly misleading

Just wasn’t quite what we were expecting. Unfortunately the property had stagnant, standing water under it and around it making the floors of the property very warped and the smell outside unpleasant. Also the surrounding properties were mostly decent but some were a complete eyesore and needed to be torn down including directly across the street. Inside was clean and supplies were good. Some of the beach towels and linens smelled very musty because they were stored in plastic bins and maybe hadn’t been used in a while. The bed was comfortable though and it suited our needs for the wknd we needed it for.

The best managed house I ever rented

House is extremely clean and well-maintained. We really enjoyed our stay over the 4th of July weekend. The drive to the beach was under 10 minutes. The only negative thing I noticed is the quality of the water. Even with a filter, it is yellowish and smelly, but I do not think there is anything else owners can do about it. Just bring water to drink and brush your teeth.

Booked based on the website stating it was a king size bed. Upon arrival we were disappointed to find it was in fact a double bed. Otherwise, very cute property.

Great Little Getaway

We had a great stay. The house was nice and quaint. Plenty of room for me, my husband and our 2 chihuahuas. I loved how she had a water and feeding station set up for my fur babies.

Extended Weekend

House was super cute and worked great for our stay! It was nice to have toilet paper, paper towels, hand soap, etc, which most places don't supply for you. This was our first time to Surfside so didn't know the area so brought stuff just in case. (Good thing because there isn't really any stores without going back over the bridge, but she had plenty in stock.) House was clean and we didn't have any problems. Cons: WIFI didn't really work, but no big deal for us; could use a light where you park (think just needed light bulb), description said a "few blocks from beach" but it was on the opposite side from beach, thought it closer, not walking distance, we drove on the beach further down, so not a problem.
