Beautiful secluded Lake Front Home on the Private (warm) side of Lake Anna. 7 bedroom 4.5 bath home is located on over 2 acres - so peaceful. Water Views from almost every room in the house! House has everything you and your extended family and friends could want - LOTS of activities inside and out! Inside -Bumper Pool Table, Ping Pong, Air Hockey, Media Room w/ 75in smart TV, Foosball, board games and puzzles! Outside - Private dock and sand beach, WE are locate at the end of an inlet for ultimate privacy - excellent fishing and kayaking! 7 kayaks, 4 Stand up Paddle Boards, Peddle Boat, hammocks, Playground w/ swings, slide and sandbox, Fire pit, Gas BBQ and Camp grill (charcoal). Over 20 life jackets from infant to 3XL! Community pool and boat launch only 2 blocks away. NEW Deluxe Memory foam Mattresses and black out curtains for a great night sleep! Porta crib, bassinet and high chair provided. Outside shower with HOT water for those sandy feet and washing off your furry friends.

Overall, the house and location were great! It had the perfect amount of beds and baths for our large groups of 16. The yard was a great size for the kids to run, play kickball or just relax in the hammocks. The paddle boards and kayaks were such a fun experience, though we still needed to bring more of our own due to the size of our group. One thing to note is that the photos made it seem like there was a beach and swimming area on site, which there wasn’t. You could take the kayaks out into the water a little ways to swim, or take a short drive to the beach area down the road. The gas grill was out of propane, which we could have gone out and purchased, but chose not to. We would definitely rent again in the future!

Family vacation

This house is absolutely amazing! The pictures do not do it justice. We absolutely loved our trip and could not have asked for a better home. The host was extremely patient with all of my questions and extremely responsive. Thank you for making it so amazing. This house is sooooo much larger and better than anyone could expect. I highly recommend it to anyone.

Awesome stay!!!!

Overall, this place was amazing! Few hiccups that we felt could be better (such as not having enough Toilet paper, paper towels, etc). The stove malfunctioned at times. Beyond that we had an absolute amazing time. Very relaxing with kayaks, paddle boats, hammocks, fishing, sandbox and playset, campfire, etc). We recommend this place to everyone!!!

Great Place to Get Away

The property was beautiful and private. Perfect for kids 8-15 to safely play in the lake and not have to worry about passing boats. Also, plenty to do in the house for the kids if it's raining.The house was clean, had enough room for 17 people to sread out, and check in process was easy.

Lake Anna

This house and property were exactly what our extended family needed. The property was wonderful - plenty of room for playing outside, a small beach, a fishing dock, and many kayaks and paddle boards. The layout of the house allowed the early birds and night owls to do their things without disturbing any others. The neighborhood was bikable and the community pool was quite nice.

Great place for a group

This is a nice property and well suited for a large group. It had everything we needed. Just keep in mind that the water access is not great from the yard because the lake is low but you can kayak or paddle board from the property, launch a boat from the neighborhood ramp, or go to the neighborhood beach area. The owners were very responsive and helpful!

Wonderful Christmas time

Our family of 15 with all the grandkids had plenty of space to play inside - and on the nice days to be outside on the play equipment and jogging/walking through the neighborhood. Wonderful time, with a kitchen big enough for our large crowd, and rooms for small gatherings - and for all of us. Owner answered questions right away. Everything was wonderful. We even had a spare bedroom, for wrapping Christmas presents.

Great space on the lake with tons of activities

The location was amazing, in a secluded area of the lake so the preteens could go out on the kayaks and still be supervised. There was a ton to do for all ages, we didn’t even have to really leave for entertainment. Our only complaint was that the 7th bedroom in the basement didn’t have a window. That seems like a safety hazard.

Family Reunion

Family gathering, ages 4 to 80! Celebrating 80 th birthday and other milestones. Lovely home well equipped to meet our needs for socializing and recreation. Enjoyed both sunny and rainy days! Owner very responsive to questions especially about internet which was needed for virtual work needs during our stay!

So nice!

Exactly as advertised. Quiet, private, well-equipped in the kitchen, basement, and outdoors. We paddle-boated and kayaked. We swan in the lake and at the community pool. We really appreciated all the life jackets. We enjoyed the four hammocks and the fire pit. We saw a doe and her two fawns nearly every day. The kids loved catching fish off the pier and playing with the many lizards they found.

Great for family!

Wonderful time with family. All enjoyed the boats, the bumper pool table, and the outdoor chairs. We liked the privacy and the kitchen had everything we needed. If there was a drawback, the water level went down after a few days and it was very muddy but we did go to the local beach for a cleaner swim. One comment was that cotton sheets would have been better than the microfiber ones provided. Overall, we were happy with the home.

Wonderful Weekend!

our family rented a wonderful house for the long weekend. We enjoyed the spaciousness of the house, the seven bedrooms, the fit foosball. Air hockey and all the outdoor amenities for children including swings that slide beach area and children’s Playhouse. In addition, this house was equipped with several kayaks, paddle boards, and a paddle boat that was enjoyed. Thank you for having your house set up for families like ours! We had a wonderful weekend! Communication with the host was excellent, & we look forward to renting again!

Hi, we are the Bakers. And this is our home away from home! My husband and I were lucky enough to find this amazing house in 2020. We LOVE the secluded peaceful setting and all the water activities it has to offer. It has the perfect private location with still being only 15 minutes to restaurants and grocery stores. We did a major revamp with comfort and convenience in mind. Deluxe mattresses, black out curtains, memory foam toppers, down alternative comforters etc. And are now proud to offer others the opportunity to stay at our Lake side retreat! Our Family of 8 enjoys the house at least once a month and much more often during water skiing season! Fortunately being on the Warm/private side of Lake Anna means we can start skiing in MARCH!
