Cozy house with waterfall view!

Stay in a cozy two bedroom, 1 bathroom house in a charming town of Canton, CT! This 1200 square foot house plus a finished basement. One bedroom has a queen size bed and the other bedroom has a king size. There are two twin cot beds located in the finished basement for additional sleeping arrangements if requested. Updated kitchen with granite counter tops and stainless steel appliances. Basement includes a bar, high end movie theater with four recliner movie premium seating theater chairs, game room with electronic dart machine as well as a washer/dryer for doing your laundry! Movie theater is state of the art with 110 inch screen, 4K projector, Dolby Atmos surround sound.Technology abound in this smart home.

Fenced in back yard is great for dogs! (Please note that the fence was built for medium to large size dogs) Beautiful deck with table and chairs for overlooking the private waterfall and stream! Property is well maintained and has beautiful rock wall gardens.

Shopping and dining along with indoor and outdoor activities just minutes away; Shops of Farmington Valley, historic Collinsville Center, Farmington Bike Trail, Roaring Brook Nature Center, Nepaug Reservoir, hiking trails and Ski Sundown. About 25 minutes to Hartford, CT and two hours to Boston or New York.

If you need a place to stay in the Canton area, this is THE place to book. We found the property to be charming, well appointed, with beautiful views of the steam and waterfall behind the house. Further, the hosts, Emily and JD are easy to communicate with and provide warm yet unobtrusive hospitality. Also, there is a wonderful home theater in the basement that is among the best places I’ve ever viewed a movie. You CANNOT go wrong by choosing to stay here!!

This cozy home is perfectly tucked away in Canton, CT (my home town). The mattresses and bedding were comfortable, which made for a restful sleep. My teenage boys LOVED the theater room, and we enjoyed exploring the woods and stream in the backyard.The hostess was a fabulous communicator, and she even checked in on us during an intense thunderstorm. This location is so close to the Shoppes, Lake Compounce, and the Farmington River—a little excitement for everyone!

Cozy family retreat

Very clean and comfy little nook in an adorable Connecticut town. The backyard is family friendly and the more scenic waterfall views are safely tucked behind locked gates. The home is well equipped for everyday needs, and features advanced yet user friendly AV equipment. Communication was fluid and the owners were extremely attentive. We would be delighted to stay here again on our next visit to see family.

Just Beautiful

We could not of been more pleased with this rental. The house is gorgeous, the backyard was amazing, and the sound of the water was so relaxing. House was spotless, bed was so comfy, & my favorite was the theatre room, great to enjoy on a rainy day. Thank you Emily for sharing your amazing home & for all your help.

Great location with great features

The home had so many lovely features including a movie theatre room. The babbling brook behind the home created a nice atmosphere. The fenced in yard is perfect for your fur family!! Will definitely rent again.

Always a nice stay at this home

Return trip to this home and never disappoints. Lovely home - well prepped for meals and enjoyment. Fenced yard was great for pets - nice area close enough to visit vineyards, outdoor activities and lots of shopping if needed. Will come back again!

Amazing

My husband, I, and our 8 year old GSD drove in from Pittsburgh to attend a wedding. The house was amazing. Location was easy on and off of the main road and the property was exactly as listed. The theater was amazing and our pup loved the back yard. So thankful to find such a quiet, beautiful rental for the weekend.

Lovely home with amazing backyard and fenced in area

The home is conveniently located off a main road with lots of restaurants and shops within a few minutes. It was perfect for our family which includes 3 young kids and dogs. The fenced in yard/deck made everything so easy and safe. The movie theater room is even better than it looks. Emily is a wonderful host who checked on us via text before and during the trip to make sure we had everything we needed. We will absolutely stay here again

Cozy Hideaway, Waterfall Paradise: Your Dream Getaway

Just got back from the most amazing weekend at this Cozy House with a Waterfall View! It truly lives up to its name – the views are simply breathtaking. The house itself is just as charming. It's decorated beautifully, with everything you could possibly need. The beds were super comfy, and the kitchen was well-stocked. There is an awesome theater room with a state-of-the-art projector screen and surround sound. Super comfy chairs complement the experience. Overall, a great stay and would stay again.

Felt like Home

It had everything you needed. Very comfortable Close to any store or restaurant you could think of but you were in a wooded private area. Had a great back yard fenced in for the dogs or kids. All sorts of games and movies to watch. Great internet service. Outdoor fire pits and a deck with a sitting area. Would definitely recommend

Summer Getaway

My husband, myself and our dog stayed at the Glynn Inn for the months of July and August. It was by far the nicest VRBO rental we have had in CT. The house is perfect and the yard/outdoor spaces are amazing! The house itself is actually larger than it looks in the photos. The movie theatre room is the perfect spot to hang out. The sounds of the brook and the outdoor spaces are what really made our stay. We will definitely be going back to the Glynn Inn! Thank you to Emily and JD for letting us rent your wonderful home!

So very pleasant.

We had the most relaxing time at Glenn Inn. To be able to open the windows and listen to the brook and wildlife every day was so very pleasant. It was so spacious. The property was well maintained. The hosts were prompted in respnding when an issue came up. They even offered to put us up in a hotel when the air conditioner stopped working. This to me speaks volumes of how awesome they are. We will be going back again. Thank you

Lovely Connecticut stay

We came to CT to visit family and wanted some place in between to stay. This house was lovely, very clean, lots of amenities around the house. Kitchen was great, had everything we needed. We loved the movie room in the basement as well as the gorgeous property. Our dog was obsessed with the fenced in yard. My only tiny complaint was the bedroom was a bit warm at night even with the air conditioner on and a series of fans, because of the distance to the bedroom from the unit. But I am a picky sleeper and it probably wouldn't bother anyone else. The mattress was so good my husband asked for the name! We had family over and a few days to overself and generally had a good experience.

Most spectacular backyard

We had a wonderful stay with our 4 kids, ages 2-10. The location is great- close to many activities, shops, restaurants and grocery stores. Best of all, the backyard is an outdoor oasis. The way the owner built a path along the creek is absolutely amazing and there is even a deck by the creek to sit and enjoy the beautiful nature all around. There is lots of wildlife and my kids really enjoyed exploring by the creek. We are super grateful to Emily for hosting this wonderful property.

Canton Ct property

This property was lovely. The sound of the creek that runs next to the back yard is so relaxing. It was a very clean property with a large deck barbecue area and a fire pit next to the creek. Very nice glad we stayed there.

Idyllic creekside view with super fun amenities!

We had a beautiful two day stay with our dogs enjoying the fenced in yard and nearby creek, and my wife and I enjoying the incredible movie theater with hundreds of movies and all the streaming services at our disposal. This is one of the most unique VRBOs we’ve stayed at, there are so many cool features to keep you entertained, we can’t wait to come back!
