The Sunflower: A bright, joyful stay on the edge of Wichita

Relax with the whole family at this joyful, cozy townhouse. No matter your reason for visiting the Goddard / West Wichita area, this spacious house is perfect for you and your family.

We welcome all baseball and swimming tournament families! We are only a one minute drive from the new Genesis Sports Complex!

We also welcome all zoo-goers and traveling nurses! We are only a few minutes drive from Tanganyika Wildlife Park, and only a few miles from Ascension Via Christi St. Teresa hospital.

The space:

We offer two beautifully decorated and comfortable rooms with queens beds (one with an attached bathroom and walk-in closet) and a "kids" room with a full bed and two twins. WASHER and DRYER along with plenty of laundry detergent is available for guest use in the home.

Guest access:

One-minute drive access to U.S. 400! This means quick access to all Wichita has to offer (without having to stay in the city)!

A 2-car garage is attached to the house which you are free to use.

Perfect home away from home

This property was more than I expected. Not only are the pictures accurate, but the owners include little touches to make you feel at home to include a welcome sign, things to do in the area, and how to check out. Check-in was also seamless and owner responded promptly to any questions. We will definitely stay here next time we visit Goddard.

The Sunflower was a wonderful place to stay! Very comfortable beds, great safe neighborhood... and a perfect kitchen to cook for a family. The garage/yard was great for our kids to play. Our host was easy to get a hold of and was super kind... even letting us know about the parade in town. We took our kids and had a great "Midwest" experience. 'Till next time, Goddard Sunflower!

Great place to stay when visiting Tanganyika!

This was a great place to stay for our family of 6 while visiting the Tanganyika Wildlife Park. Well stocked and clean. Some of the furniture could use some replacing, but overall comfortable enough for us during our short stay.

Perfect stay near softball complex

What a great place

Stayed for 4 nights as we moved our son to Witchita. Wonderful place, clean and comfortable. Highly recommend this home. It is a little west of the city center but we really liked it.

Satisfied Sunflower Stay!

We booked this property for the location to the Tanganyika Wildlife Park. It is 4 minutes from there in a great location, easy to find, and quiet duplex neighborhood. Very clean and provided much appreciated basic toiletries. Thank you for a pleasant stay!

Quiet and relaxing.

Such a pretty place. Had everything we needed including access to a garage. Very quiet, but close to many fast food places and a short drive to lots of restaurants. We highly recommend the Sunflower!

Home away from home!

What a great home in a nice, safe neighborhood! My family was traveling for a funeral and are so glad we chose this home for our stay! We loved having the garage access and the home layout was perfect for us! Thoughtful touches throughout the home just made it perfect! Cozy !!

This was a very clean and inviting house !! We stayed 2 nights and had no issues. We had a little rain while we were there and it was so nice to have the attached garage for loading and unloading our belongings. Would definitely chose this property again !!

Great location

Loved the peacefulness of surrounding area and closeness to most things we wanted to do in Wichita. We came to Wichita to go to Tanganyika wildlife park which was super close but found many other fun things to do as well. Cow town, aviation museum, art museum, Pizza Hut museum, keeper of the plains. Absolutely loved Botanica. I have been to many botanical gardens but this may be my favorite

Great location for Tanganyika

Had a great stay for 2 nights. We were 2 friends visiting Tanganyika Wildlife Park. The duplex was super cute and really nice having a garage. I bet the kids room with a bottom double bed and 2 offsetting twins on top would be great for families. We didn't cook so can't really speak to those amenities. I would have liked curtains or blackout shades in the bedrooms, woke up way to early without. Hosts were super nice and very responsive.

We had a great stay. Easy instructions upon leaving. I would suggest having an extra fan or two for the bedrooms that don’t have a ceiling fan.

Perfect location

The Sunflower was so well maintained and stocked with the essentials. We were there for a softball tournament at the Genesis complex and this home was located 5 minutes away from the park allowing us rest time in between games to relax and refresh. The owners responded to my messages very quickly and were so nice. Thank you for renting your home, it was truly perfect!
