Located directly on Lake Charlevoix and only 2 miles from Downtown Boyne City the Porter Creek LN. Cottage will provide you a unique balance of nature and amenities. The property accommodates 11 bed for sleeping, a spacious living room with fireplace and an updated kitchen. From the front of the property enjoy 105 feet of sandy Lake Charlevoix with a large new dock for swimming. From the rear of the property enjoy a cup of coffee or have a fire along Porter Creek which flows directly through the property. The property is 2 miles to Boyne City, 5 miles from the landing and a short drive to Charlevoix, Petoskey and Harbor springs. If you like to Ski or would enjoy the water park we’re 10 minutes to Boyne Mountain.

The Boyne City home on Lake Charlevoix was wonderful. It was beautifully decorated, comfortable and had a well stocked kitchen. We loved the Florida room that led out to the patio. It was our favorite room with windows and sliding doors with views of the lake. Check in was easy and there was a local contact to assist with any needs or questions. We rented a boat and loved having access to the lake. We will definitely come back.

We had a great stay! The house is very clean, comfortable and nicely updated. The 3 seasons room is a great spot to take in the view of Lake Charlevoix and the large living area with a huge, comfortable couch and big screen tv is a great spot to relax or watch a movie during a rainy day. We had 2 families (4 kids ages 4-10, 4 adults) and it worked out really well. The large lawn was great for yard games and having a dock to jump off every morning, noon and night was everyone's favorite. It is an excellent location that feels secluded, yet close to everything. There is a small general store across the street for any last minute needs. The kids had so much fun playing in the creek behind the house. We especially enjoyed the neighbor, Tom. He is a great guy! Tony was quick to respond to any issues and Sam the property manager responds immediately. The coffee pot went out on us during our stay and Sam was there within 45 minutes to give us a new one. Highly recommend this house!

We had a great stay with our family and would love to come back! The manager was quick to respond whenever we needed them. The yard is HUGE and a great campfire at night. We will definitely be looking to come back next year.

Great location with view of the lake and the creek right next to the house in the back. Beautiful. Tony was very responsive when we arrived and there was no heat. Got fixed quickly and we enjoyed our three days.The only reason I didn’t rate a five was due to not being able to reach the host to figure out how to get network channels to watch the game.Great property. Would recommend!

February Ski Trip with teens

What a great place and exactly as listed. It was 15 minutes from Boyne Mountain and 7 minutes to the cute Boyne City area with grocery and restaurants nearby. The property manager was very easy to contact, checkin was a breeze. Highly recommend this property. We had 2 adults and 7 teens and the space was perfect for us.

Great place to stay with a family of eight. Place is in the middle of the donut. Charlevoix, Petoskey,Boyne City, Gaylord all within 30 min. Lake was very nice. House very clean and very nice. Thanks Tony fir being a great host!

Great cabin on the lake!

Cute, well-maintained cabin on the lake with a wonderful creek running through the backyard. This home had everything we needed for a relaxing 3-day family getaway. Kitchen was fully outfitted, beds were comfy, and the house was clean. Excellent location and friendly neighbors. Short drive into town with easy access to restaurants, groceries, etc. What’s not to like?!

Awesome Boyne City Cottage!

The house was perfect for our family's first time in northern Michigan. It is well stocked with everything you could need for cooking, hanging out (we especially loved the karaoke machine and the two fire pits!), and enjoying the lake. It's tucked into a quiet neighborhood off of the main road with friendly neighbors. Our dogs loved running in the large lawn that extends to the lake! Thank you for an awesome stay!

Family 4th of July

We wanted to celebrate our daughter’s engagement with the family over the 4th of July holiday. This was a perfect spot and the cottage was comfortable, clean, full of everything we could need for our family celebration. We enjoyed dining outside and the beautiful views of Lake Charlevoix. The park-like setting was perfect for outdoor activities. Everyone loved the accommodations and the location. We will be back!

It was exactly as described in the listing! we had an amazing time with our family and friends celebrating Christmas and New Year! The cabin was very cozy, and clean with a perfect location. We had a wonderful week enjoying a Michigan summer. The house if fully equipped for all of your needs. It is comfortable, inviting and has a great flow. Sam, the property manager, is near to help or text your questions to. There is a huge yard to play family whiffle ball and other games and no busy road to cross to get to the lake. We watched the 4th of July fireworks right on the dock! Bonfires, paddleboarding, fishing off the dock and riding our ebikes into Boyne City. We had a fantastic time and we will be back.
