Cottage "5th Lake" is the perfect two-bedroom cottage for a fun-filled getaway, sleeping up to five guests and welcoming your furry friends! The main bedroom features a queen-size bed, while the smaller bedroom boasts a custom-built twin over full bunk bed.

This charming cottage is adorned with beautiful pine throughout, cathedral ceilings, and a stunning stone propane fireplace that reaches from floor to ceiling. The open-concept kitchen and living room provide a spacious, inviting area for everyone to gather. The full bath includes a shower. For added comfort, the cottage is also furnished with A/C and Heat, ceiling fans, smart TV and excellent WiFi!

The modern eat-in kitchen is fully equipped with stainless steel appliances (fridge, stove, microwave), a drip coffee pot, a toaster, and all the pots, pans, cups, plates, utensils, and serving dishes you need to cook up a storm. The rustic Adirondack-style decor adds a touch of elegance and warmth to this cozy cabin.

Outside, you'll find a charcoal grill, a fire pit surrounded by Adirondack-style chairs, and a picnic table, perfect for enjoying the great outdoors and beautiful lake views!

Cottage "5th Lake" is available year-round, making it an ideal retreat in any season.

In addition, there are complementary kayaks, canoes and SUP for you to enjoy! We also offer Boat Rentals on site- just steps from the cottages. We have a 20' Pontoon or 16' Bayliner. Full Day and Half Day rentals are offered. Ready for an unforgettable adventure?

We had an amazing time. The cottages are beautiful and the waterfront area has the best views. Our son loved fishing on the private dock which was super convenient for our family. We plan to come back next year.

Family vacation

Cabin was perfectly sized for my two kids and I. We were able to fish off the dock, kayak, canoe, swim and the proximity to Old Forge is less than 5 minutes. All in all, a great time!

Beautiful Cottage, Extremely Clean, Great Location

We loved this cottage and the location! The cottage was extremely clean and bug-free (we've stayed in other locations before that had a lot of spider webs & crickets, but this unit was very well maintained & bug-free!) The cottage has a beautiful fireplace and a beautiful small kitchen with granite countertops, fridge, gas stove & micro, coffee pot & tea kettle. There is no dishwasher so consider bringing paper plates & plastic cups. It has a reclining leather couch and the bedding was in very good shape, comfortable and clean. They provide linens, blankets and bath towels. The cottage is decorated very nicely and they have thought of everything when it comes to maximizing space. You have your own private campfire with comfortable Adirondack chairs. Another nice amenity is that you are able to park your vehicle right in front of the cottage instead of using the upper parking lot. This came in handy when it was raining. Grounds were very nicely maintained, 2 really nice large waterfront decks and if you kayak, you can put your kayak in right at their dock. Very dark at night, so bring a flashlight for outdoors & night-lights for inside. The weather was not in our favor so we were not able to ride our bikes, but had it been better, we could have ridden into town. We enjoyed meeting Emanuela & Jon who were extremely nice and accommodating. We are planning to return to this cottage later this summer/Fall. Don't wait to rent it, you will not be disappointed!!

If you are looking for an ADK getaway to indulge in swimming, hiking, boating, fishing, kayaking, snowmobiling, skiing or just simply relaxing, you have come to the right place! Our waterfront oasis offers upscale accommodations in the most beautiful setting! Our cottages, previously known as The Narrows Cottages of Old Forge, have a long history of families and friends vacationing here year after year, generations after generations for well over 50 years!

Voici ce qui rend cet hébergement unique

The Lakes is located on the First Lake Channel, also called the Narrows, which connects to First Lake and Old Forge Pond and various channels that link to several lakes on the Fulton Chain of Lakes. Enjoy boating, kayaking, fishing, picnicking, shopping or just sit back and experience the peace and quiet that surrounds you. The Lakes is just minutes to the Old Forge Public Beach, Water Safari, tennis courts, boat tours, churches, grocery stores, coffee shop, quaint gift shops, movie theater, arcade, miniature golf, and the community art center. Many within a walking distance! Not to mention excellent restaurants, hiking trails, lakes and ponds for fishing that are also nearby.

Also in the area are championship 18-hole golf courses: Thendara and Inlet. The McCauley Mountain chairlift and picnic area has a spectacular view of the village of Old Forge and the Fulton Chain of Lakes.
