Fantastic stay!

We enjoyed our trip here. The owner was very responsive to my questions and made us feel at home. The cottage was clean and had lots of space. The water was great to swim in and we all had an amazing time! We would love to come back next summer.

Family holiday

We enjoyed our stay at Williams Landing. It is perfect for a large family gathering. Lots of space in the house. Very private lake. Nice trails for hiking.

Beautiful Cottage

Our family of 10 stayed at the Williams Landing cottage for 6 nights and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We loved that it sits on a very quiet lake, without any motorized water craft. Great fishing and swimming. The canoes, kayaks and and paddle boats provided fun times for all!! Would come back for sure!

Everything was Amazing

The cottage was spacious enough for 6 adults (plus a dog) to be very comfortable while still being cozy, and nicely furnished. The lake was really nice and we enjoyed paddling. The location was private, quiet, and we had a wonderful relaxing time. Kim was very helpful and responsive. We all enjoyed our stay completely and highly recommend Williams Landing.

Williams Landing

So pleased, what a wonderful long weekend. The privacy of this lovely lake is precious. We were rarely out of the water it was so beautiful. The turtles, loons, frogs and swans have all been named. The house was immaculate and beautiful. We would love to come back.

Fabulous owner

Kim was always very prompt in replying and excellent to deal with. Unfortunately we had to reschedule our trip due to illness, but she couldn’t have been more understanding and accommodating. We are really looking forward to our trip.

I was sad that Anne and her family had to cancel because of an Illness in her family as I knew they were all looking forward to spending some time together. Luckily I was able to reschedule in the Fall when they will experience the Fall colours. Anne was very communicative and easy to work with and I can’t wait to see her and her family this Fall !

Good time had but mother nature was against us.

The house was nice but the screen in porch was wonderful. We and our dogs had an enjoyable time walking around the extensive property. Unfortunately it rained a lot making the water front very muddy.

Vacation with Friends

The house and lake view is beautiful. The house and yard allows for so much space to complete activities. The enclosed porch with fire table is a great space to enjoy the home and views of the water at the same time when the weather is not cooperating. This was our favorite space of the home/property. Water was also very clean to swim in and the water toys were a great bonus. Very private location/space.

Weekend to remember

We had an amazing stay at William’s Landing. It was very easy to find and when we arrived, we were blown away by the property, house and view. We were welcomed with a few treats which was appreciated after a long drive. The kitchen was fully stocked with every gadget, dish and cookware need. Sleeping assignments were a breeze with 3 bedrooms as well as a open area with beds and a loft above the garage. We had plenty of room for the 9 of us and the dog. We could have spent the entire weekend at the cottage but it was also nice to head out to the farmer’s markets near by. We also enjoyed Dahl Forest for a hike. I highly recommend this property and hope to return for years to come!

Beautiful Cottage and Stunning Grounds

We had an absolutely amazing stay at William's Landing! The cottage was lovely, cozy and comfortable with plenty of space for the 7 people we had at full force. The grounds were especially magnificent. It's on a private family owned lake and we were welcome to use all of the trails. The house was private enough that our two dogs had the time of their life running free and exploring the grounds and waterfront. The dock and the screened in sunroom were our favourite places to hang out. The open concept kitchen, dining and family room made conversing and togetherness easy. Our group all made it in swimming and loved kayaking, canoing and peddle boating around the lake. Our host Kim, was lovely and very responsive to our questions. We would book it again in a heartbeat and recommend it to anyone!

Exceptional Experience

Where to start. Our family has been renting different cottages for many years so have seen the good the bad and the ugly. In our humble opinion this is by far the best of the best. Right from the start the hosts were the some of the most responsive people we have dealt with. The cottage was exactly as advertised with some improvements over and above the listing. The home was clean, spacious, extremely well outfitted with quality home furnishings, appliances etc with virtually nothing lacking. The property is pristine with a very child friendly entry point for swimming and playing. Fishing is great. Multiple water craft to enjoy. We could write a novel but suffice to say we cant imagine anyone being disappointed with their decision to stay here.

Amazing stay!

Our stay at Williams landing was great! The home is huge and has everything you need. We stayed with another family and there was more than enough room for everyone. The bedrooms are spacious and spread out so that they are private. Our kids stayed in the loft over the garage which made them feel like they had their own apartment separate from the adults. It is also very dog friendly. The main area is very cozy with a fireplace and a big kitchen table for board games. The kitchen is equipped with every kitchen tool you can think of. We were there for March break so we didn’t get to experience the lake but we did hike the trails around the property which were absolutely beautiful and very private. The cottage is 1 hour from the Haliburton wolf reserve where we went to see the wolves and on an ice fishing excursion. It’s also a quick 5 minute drive into the cute town of Kinmount if you need to grab any supplies. Kim was always quick to respond to any questions both before and while we were there. If you’re looking for a scenic getaway, this is the place!

Beautiful family retreat

Amazing cottage in a perfect quiet setting surrounded by forests and a small quiet lake. This cottage has everything you could ask for and more. Very spacious while keeping it very cozy for friends and/or family get togethers. Several kms of trails that take you around the lake and into the beautiful forests that are accessible right from the back door of the cottage. There were 7 of us and two dogs and we had a blast. Weather was amazing too especially for end of October. We will definitely be back again and thanks again to the owners for the welcome basket as well as making sure we had everything we needed and for allowing us to create many family memories at Williams Landing!

Beautiful family getaway spot

We had the most wonderful family Thanksgiving at Amanda and David’s place. The cottage was spacious, spotless and thoughtfully equipped with more than everything we needed. It felt warm and cozy, but with lots of quiet spaces for relaxing. The lake is beautiful and calm, with breathtaking scenery. We enjoyed our family walks on the trails. The rooms were quiet, comfy and soundproof. We were a family of 8 adults, a toddler, infant and two dogs. We were all comfortable and able to enjoy being together, indoors and outside. The hosts were very friendly and accommodating, and responded quickly to any questions we had. We are looking forward to returning for another family vacation where we’ll make more beautiful memories ☺️

This is my Grandmother and Grandfathers property. At one time they owned all the property around the lake and across the Dutch Line Rd. About 400 acres. It is still owned by the family and a close friend family of my Grandmother. There are only 3 houses on the property around the lake and you access to all the clearly marked and well maintained trails around the Lake all year around.
