Away From The Fray offers a quiet place to relax and make memories but also close to all the fun in Pigeon Forge. Minutes from Dollywood and the parkway, you'll be in town in no time without having to drive winding mountain roads.

The living room is open concept with high ceilings with a stone stacked wood burning fireplace (operational Oct-March). We provide the initial starter firewood bundle only.

On the main level, you will find a cozy Queen size master bedroom off the kitchen. The Kitchen is fully stocked and had place settings for up to 6 guests. The bedroom has a night stand and dresser with a 32 inch LCD. The on suite bathroom can be accessed from both the bedroom and the living room. The bathroom has a 60 inch walk in shower with bowed shower curtain. The stack-able washer/dryer is also located in the bathroom if needed.

The natural wood staircase will lead you to the open loft equipped with a twin on twin trundle bed, vintage 2 player Multicade game that has over 50 titles to choose from, a large connect 4 game and a TV with a equipped with PS4 and mini Nintendo console to play video games!!

Back downstairs, you'll enjoy a fully stocked kitchen with everything you'd need to cook your favorite meal if you are staying in.

If you step out the back door you will find a covered deck, a perfect place to enjoy your favorite morning coffee. The back deck is also where the 5 person hot tub and gas grill are located. There is also a charcoal grill out front if you prefer grilling with charcoal. Cell phone service and Free high speed WiFi is available throughout the cabin.

For cancellations made within 14 days prior to the arrival date, no refund will be issued.

The property is named perfectly! There is absolutely nothing negative to say about this property, everything was just like the description and met our family's needs. What a beautiful cabin. Kids loved the separate loft with games and movies galore. Even the hubby had to play some arcade games. Loved that there was a washer and dryer available. Hot tub was fun. We stayed and cooked meals most of the time and grilled out. They had almost everything we needed.

Nice stay for a small family
We enjoyed our stay and perfect place for the family of 4(including 2 toddlers). Kim is a great host and very quick to communicate. Movies and video games collection are perfect to enjoy some indoor time. Though it’s very close to the road, but we don’t get much traffic noise unless it’s a fire truck or police car sirens. There are 2 pizzerias close by to quickly grab some pizza/calzones or restaurants in Dollywood are not very far either. The only negative had when we were enjoying some morning time on the front porch, there were mosquitoes flying around and we had to immediately go inside. However, we would love to stay again.

Amazing cabin in the Smokies!
The Kings are absolutely wonderful hosts. The cabin is beautifully perched high on a ridge. Darling accessories and sturdy furniture. The kids loft is adorable with two twin beds, tv and working Nintendo game console. The hot tub is lovely as is the front porch. The photos don’t do the property justice. We would give it six stars if we could. Ten minute drive to Dollywood and Pigeon Forge and 15 minutes to Gatlinburg ! Yet the cabin is truly “away from the fray”. We will be back! It was a great time at the cabin. We saw a couple bears on our drive to Anakeesta. The cabin was clean, cozy and has good energy. We will definitely come back!

Absolutely AMAZING!
We stayed here over Christmas and it was a wonderful stay. Our host had it decorated beautifully. Very cozy cabin and the bed was SO COMFORTABLE!! My son has already asked to book this cabin next year for Christmas. A perfect distance from town! Book it! You absolutely will not regret it!

Anniversary trip
My husband and I went to the Smokey mountains for our 32nd anniversary. Kim provided us with some great information for the area and always answered quickly. The cabin was amazing! The bedroom was so dark and cozy and the hot tub was a great end to offroading. Thank you Kim!

Lovely Cabin!
The cabin and accommodations was everything described and more! It was clean, comfortable, and well stocked with essential goods. We loved that it was located within the woods, yet we could get to town in 10min. or less. We would definitely stay here again if we were to return.

Jared and I are native Tennesseans. We've traveled all over, but the Smoky Mountains have always been a favorite for hiking, shopping, attractions, camping etc. (although as we get older tent camping isn't as easy as it used to be!) There is just so much to offer here. We love it so much we decided to buy a cabin here so when we have the chance to get away, we would have a special place. Our favorite thing to do is making memories with each other and our children and what better place than here?!

When we decided to buy a cabin, we finally narrowed it down to what we really wanted and Away from the Fray had everything we had on our checklist. Its cozy and quaint, nestled in a wooded setting, but central to all the fun! As soon as I walked into the cabin I felt at home and knew this is the one! We hope our guests feel at home just as we do here!

Voici ce qui rend cet hébergement unique

There are not any mountain roads to climb to get to the cabin. You will be just a hop, skip and jump over to Dollywood and the main road for pigeon forge. Gatlinburg is also just a short drive away. Its truly a very central location to access the National park and all the attractions Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg have to offer.
