"Wow! What an amazing time we had. The home is just as pictured, but even better! Super spacious we had 4 adults & 2 little ones and we all had plenty of space to move around. Awesome touches perfectly placed around the home and great amenities made our stay super comfortable. This home had the best stocked kitchen compared to all of my past AirBNBs. You’re less than 5 minutes away from the river, to tubing, and a local restaurants. I would HIGHLY recommend the home for your family stay. - Koleena ★★★★★

We truly enjoyed our stay here! Perfect space for large groups. Our group enjoyed Blue Ridge Tubing during the day and spent the evenings utilizing the amazing amenities at the house! We would definitely recommend the stay for other groups!

Thanks so much for staying with us at Alta Haven, and for such a fun writeup! A group of 10 makes for a great test of the house, and it sounds like you put it to good use — tubing on the Blue Ridge by day and running the game room and the rest of the amenities by night is exactly the rhythm this place is built for. Trading your usual coast trip for the mountains was a good call, and we're glad it delivered. Come back anytime — we'd love to host this group again.

This cabin was just as beautiful as the pictures on the listing were! Beds and furniture was so comfortable, cabin was beautifully decorated, and there were endless activities to do at the cabin for both adults and children! The host, Gideon provided wonderful hospitality; providing us with an extensive list of things to do in Blue Ridge and the surrounding area before our arrival! After check-in he reached out to make sure we were getting settled in okay and told us to reach out if we had any questions or concerns. We had a fantastic stay! Our family enjoyed slow, quiet mornings in; explored the Blue Ridge area during the afternoons, and enjoyed home cooked dinners in, and spent each evening with our children playing games (the pool table & fooseball table were a bit hit!), watching movies, enjoying the hot tub and sitting around the bonfire! We couldn’t have asked for a more perfect week!

Stephanie, this made my week to read. Knowing Alta Haven lived up to the pictures matters a lot to us, since that's always the biggest question mark for anyone booking a place from photos alone. I love that the pool table and foosball got that much use with the kids; that room is exactly what it's there for. Come back anytime, Stephanie. You and your family have an open invitation.

We had such a good stay here! The home was comfortable and beautiful, and minutes from the Toccoa River. Everyone loved the fully-stocked game room and the outside hot tub-patio-fire pit area was a big hit. All communications with the property owner were swift and helpful, we would definitely stay here again!

It really is special hearing that the whole crew loved being back in the Blue Ridge area, especially with your parents and the kids along for it. That game room got exactly the kind of use we hoped for, and the hot tub and fire pit combo out back has become one of my favorite parts of Alta Haven too, right up there with being a few minutes from the Toccoa River. I'm glad I could keep things easy on the communication side while you all settled in. Come back anytime, all five of you, we'd love to have your family again.

So glad the Alta Haven setup matched what you needed for a group of ten — that's not always an easy fit to nail, and it sounds like the space and location (close enough to grab groceries and supplies without a long drive) came through exactly as intended. Relaxing & fun at Alta Haven

We loved our stay at Alta Haven. The cabin has 4 bedrooms, but still feels very cozy. It rained a couple of times during our stay, so we did not use the fire pit, but the game room, movie area and hot tub were excellent. Kitchen has everything you need to cook and it’s not far from great restaurants. The Aska Adventure area has great hiking and tons of fun stuff to do and the drive to the cabin is beautiful. We didn’t need anything extra during our stay, but the host checked in to make sure we were taken care of.

Lovely Home, But Patio, Backyard Needed Attention

Sure! Here’s a polished and friendly rewrite:⸻This was our first time staying in Blue Ridge. The house was just as described—cozy and well-appointed. We only wish the patio and backyard had been properly cleaned before our arrival, as there were quite a few webs outside which took away a bit from the initial excitement. That said, we still had an overall enjoyable stay.

Great Cabin and Location

The property was really great, comfortable and clean. There were a few little things but Gideon, which was extremely attentive took care of them quickly. The Cabin feels secluded and private but you are still close to the amenities near by including a river tubing just a couple of minutes away. The outdoor area is excellent and we enjoy spending the night time around the firepit. The only thing I can think about that it would make it better is having a better arrangements for younger kids, like bunk beds as they all wanted to sleep together but we managed regardless and still had a great time!!!

Amazing!

We booked this cabin for a weekend get away for my husband’s 40th birthday. It was us and 2 other couples. The house layout was perfect for the 3 couples. We also enjoyed the hot tub and game room and an evening bonfire. The location was perfect and close to all amenities, the downtown area, and also Mercier Orchards. We are already talking about when we can go back for a visit! The owner was also amazing to work with and super easy to get ahold of and responsive. He was able to provide us with some suggestions of things to do in the area as well. Highly recommend!

This property was absolutely gorgeous. The cabin was clean and decorated very nicely. The communication with the host was awesome ….he was very responsive. The pictures on the booking site does not do this place justice. Everything you need to have a nice stay was provided. The Walmart was close to get the grocery items we needed. Did not know that Blue Ridge was a dry county. Grateful that my friends came prepared 😆. I would definitely recommend this cabin and I plan to rebook in the future. Thanks Gideon!

Cozy cabin

We stayed with multiple families, including children. The cabin was very cozy from the different seating options throughout the house to the fun layout of the backyard. Communication with the owner was above expectations. He touched base many times leading up to our stay, along with throughout the time of our stay, ensuring that we were enjoying our stay. And his response time was almost immediate, every time. We would rent with Gideon again if we had the opportunity. Thanks for the memories!

Nice but not Great

The good: -Easy Check in -Clean - beds, bathrooms and linens are nice and comfortable -Communication leading up to check in was great -Hot Tub was a nice touch The bad: -Fireplace didn't work (would light but wouldn't stay on) -Benches for main table are flimsy and wobbly, will lift up if you sit too close to one end -Toaster half worked other half didn't -Electrical issues with things not turning on, or randomly turning on, such as ceiling lights in the middle of the night -You can hear whispers from one room to the next. If you are staying with friends you will hear their conversations in their rooms, using the bathroom, etc -Pool Table has broken bumpers, and all the cue tips are missing or broken -Outlet covers missing on the wall downstairs and in the laundry area We checked in Thursday and I expressed these issues on Friday. We heard nothing back except for automated messages asking us to do things to check out and also please leave a good review. In my opinion this is what you get when you hire a rental company to manage your property.

Hi there! My name is Gideon, and as a host, I take great pride and effort in making your vacation the best it can be.

I enjoy meeting new people, traveling the world, and familiarizing myself with other cultures. This inspired me to become a host in addition to full time job.

I hope you enjoy your time, stay a while, and come again!
