Nestled among the magnificent oak trees sits a small cottage on the French ridge retreat There are many walking paths on property with a short walk to a fully stocked pond with fish for catch and release. There is also a fire pit and charcoal grill. We are located 25 minutes from Berlin/Amish country and from Mohican/Loudonville area. Come visit beautiful Holmes County!

Quiet and secluded, but near everything!

Great place to stay if you’re visiting Amish Country. Very private and in a beautiful country setting. Couldn’t ask for much more.

Beautiful area

We enjoyed our stay very much. Enjoyed walking around the pond and feeding the goats. Had a great time there. Will return again this year.

Perfect place

The house was in a perfect spot, close to Mohican. Had so many little touches that were at the house, it was so nice. The paths were calm and beautiful. It was so relaxing!

Nice place, only thing was the thermostat didn't control the heat like it should have and it got way to warm at night. Otherwise was great!

Perfectly peaceful

Love the property, great place if you’re a nature lover. Absolutely beautiful. Very serene and out of the way but close enough to everything you might need and plenty to do within a short drive. Lots of great and interesting small towns to explore nearby. The home is very cute, comfy and clean. I’d love to visit again.

Best host ever

April was by far the best host ever her and her husband greeted me my friends with such joy and kindness I never expected that the cottage was so beautiful and well stocked this place was amazing I will definitely be going back there!

This is my second visit and still loves it April has set the bar high for other ABNB’s it is just what I need to replenish after the hustle and bustle of the work week it lives up to the name I will always stay there when I just want to get away for a few days it’s a must stay for everyone who needs a break from the rest of the world thanks April see you soon!!!

French Ridge Retreat

Very neat and clean property. Some in our group had trouble signing on to the wi-fi. Pretty remote location, but close enough to Millersburg to enjoy the fall colors on the drive. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The only down side is it would have been nice to have at least a half bath in the lower level. We would stay again!
