Panoramic views, walking distance to downtown and NEW AC

Enjoy views of Puget Sound and walkable location in Gig Harbor on historic Soundview Drive. Our home offers everything you could need for short-term or longer-term stays. Located in highly-desirable downtown location with quick access to restaurants, bars, shopping, boat docks and walking trails. This home is a 10 min walk to the waterfront and downtown Gig Harbor and boat moorage.

The home offers three bedrooms with high-quality beds and bedding to ensure you are rested-1 Cal King , 1 Queen and 1 Full-size. The master bedroom has the Cal King (Picture shows Queen but new bed has been added) with an en-suite bathroom with walk in shower. There is a second bedroom with a full bed and the third bedroom with a queen bed. The second bathroom offers a tub shower accessed from the hall. The bathrooms are fully stocked to provide everything you need on your visit including bath products.

This home may not be a fit for guests with mobility challenges. There are stairs from the driveway and stairs to the top level which is the main living area.

The family room provides sweeping views with supple leather seating, 50" Smart TV, gas fireplace and a small desk for you to work.

Spread out in the dining room for a great meal or game night with a view. The kitchen is stocked with virtually everything you could need including insta-pot, air-fryer, and toaster oven. We do have basic cooking oils and spices. Our coffee and tea bar offer a French Press, Keurig, and drip coffee.

The outside offers front-deck seating overlooking Puget Sound or spread out on the back patio with the gas fire pit and BBQ.

The home has a newly installed full house AC to ensure a comfortable stay in the summer months.

For the kiddo's we have a play pen, two clip chairs and a gate for the stairs. The backyard is also completely fenced.

You will have your own access through the keypad at the front door. You will be given your custom code at check in.

Three cars can be parked in the driveway if parked correctly on the right side.

It seems unlikely that a stay has all 5 stars however, it's the absolute truth! Outstanding views, motivating walks to town, access to adventures and a well thought out floorplan. We felt nothing but grateful for the opportunity to stay in this home and have instant communication with our host. We can only hope we get to return!!!

Family vacation in Gig

This beautiful house was perfect for our week vacation with our family. Six of us had ample bedroom and bath space. The kitchen was stocked with all the dishes and appliances we needed. And the dining room table was large enough for dining, board games and jig saw puzzles. We had easy and quick communication with our host. Thanks for a great experience.

We had an amazing time here. The weather was perfect, the scenery is breathtaking from the balcony facing the water and Mt.Rainier on a clear day. The house is spacious and had everything we needed. We cooked and walked to town on the daily. Lots to do and see. Would love to be here when the fig tree is ready to pick and the backyard has many mature fruit trees. We really enjoyed our stay and thanks for the welcome gift basket with local goods!

Perfect place to stay in Gig Harbor

We had a wonderful time at this property - two adults and three kids. The house is in a great location, not far from shops and restaurants in the harbor. The view of the water and Mt. Rainier is spectacular. The house is well maintained and the host is very responsive. Will definitely book again the next time we are in the Northwest.

Great Location and Facility for our Strategic Planning Session

Our church elder team met for a two-day strategic planning session. It was great four our needs. Spacious, clean, and many amenities which made our stay comfortable. The house is within walking distance of the harbor, shops, and restaurants. The view of the Puget Sound is beautiful as well. Perfect Place, Perfect Location.

We stayed here for a graduation event in Tacoma, and it was the best possible choice. The home is absolutely beautifully appointed, and sets a wonderful tone for a relaxing stay. Downtown Gig Harbor is a gently sloping 10 min walk away. We have stayed in a lot of VRBOs in the area, and this was without question our favorite.

Gig Harbor-Home away from Home

Wonderful home that is incredibly inviting and well stocked with just about anything you could need. Another review does a great job listing items and I would say there are those things and many more. The homeowner is very responsive to texts and was accommodating in every way. The home itself is very clean and accurately described on the listing. The view is incredible and Even though it was a very cloudy, rainy weekend there was still an abundance of scenery and water activity to take in. The location is very convenient to everything Gig Harbor has to offer. Though the home is on a busy street it quiet at night (much less traffic at night and bedrooms on back side of the house). The home seems well insulated from traffic noise but I do think that with windows and doors open on the road side of the house it might not feel very quiet on warmer days. The downstairs resident was quiet and there were no issues with that. I did feel bad that maybe we were noisy with little kids running around but Kirsten assured me it was fine. As mentioned the home is on a fairly busy street so the front yard would not be a great place for kids to be but the back yard is fenced and a nice size for kids to play.

No AC but beautiful home

We were visiting from Florida and didn’t realize that there are some homes in the Gig Harbor area that don’t have AC. This is one of them. The communication, check in process, house, and views were great. Our issues is that there is no mention of the lack of AC in the description. Instead you have to read through the amenities and note the absence of AC. We aren’t sure if the owners will add a note about the lack of AC at the house so here’s your notice. We arrived and the house was 83F inside. We opened the doors and windows, while also placing the fans around the house and the house only cooled to 80F overnight. We normally sleep with a temp of 68F and we were miserable. That being said, we did love the views from and the cleanliness of the house.

Beautiful Gig Harbor Home

We (myself, my husband, & 3 kids) were in town to visit my brother and needed a place to stay. This property has a beautiful view, was very clean, and there was even a sweet gift basket waiting for us. The home is wonderfully located, close to everything in the Harbor, and it was a perfect space for us! Would definitely stay again.

Beautiful home , excellent attention to detail and needs of travelers . So comfortable , nicely decorated , and well stocked . Beautiful location , easy access. The gift basket from Kirsten was such a sweet touch. We loved our stay , and would definitely stay here again!
