Bayfront Home w/ NEW 240' Private Fishing Pier -- 2/2, sleeps 6

Our bayfront home is on a spacious double lot and has a new 240' private lighted fishing pier. The home itself is a newly remodeled 2/2 house right in Holiday Beach, Rockport, TX on Copano Bay, and aptly named "Bliss on the Bay"

Brand new 240' private pier is made from hurricane-proof materials, with one-of-a-kind boat bar. Old boat converted into a bar with sink (running water) and soon-to-be-built barstools. Fish cleaning station is 96" and mounted under cover of pier.

The fishing is outstanding with excessive green lights that make it look like Christmas! The view is beyond spectacular - seriously, wait til you experience it. We actually can’t decide if the sunrise or the sunset is better.

Our master bedroom has a king size Tempur-Pedic bed and the guest bedroom has a twin-over-twin day bed (trundle below pops up to normal bed height). There is also a queen sized sleeper sofa in the family room, as well as an oversized chair that converts to a twin sleeper.

Family room has a 55” smart TV with all apps needed for using your favorite streaming TV/movie services. We have Spectrum WIFI, and the smart TV offers several channels through LG’s TV service.

Kitchen has a large table with 6 comfortable chairs and it is fully stocked for cooking a gourmet meal. Full sized fridge/freeze, stove/oven, microwave, coffee maker, blender, all the works. This is our 2nd home so we use it regularly so it’s ready for use.

The master bathroom is attached to the master bedroom, and contains a double vanity and boasts an oversized shower. Guest bathroom is across the hall from guest room, and is a tub/shower combination. All towels will be provided along with a hair dryer. Linens will be provided for your comfort, and guests will have access to a brand new washer and dryer in the laundry room.

Relax on the deck and enjoy the sunrise with a variety of birds and duck in the nearby Whooping Crane preserve/marsh. Enjoy stunning sunsets as well while you take in the cooling bay breezes. We have a picnic table upstairs and a small table and chairs, as well as 4 chairs that can be carried onto the pier.

The house is located in the quiet neighborhood of Holiday Beach in Rockport, TX. We are 5 minutes from Goose Island State Park, and 15 minutes from Rockport Beach - a true hidden gem - or 45 minutes from Port Aransas. Spend a day in the sun at the Rockport Beach where you can rent jet skis, swim with the kids, or grill up some food at one of the picnic areas. The Rockport Beach also allows fishing and gives you the option to purchase a day pass or an annual pass. There are two piers at the Rockport Beach, the south pier is free, and the north pier has a beach admission fee. There is also a boat ramp. Downtown Rockport is filled with shops and restaurants if you feel like a night out and some fresh seafood on the water. If you feel like shopping than you can grab a cup of coffee at the Daily Grind and walk along Austin Street and visit the shell shops and cute clothing boutiques.

This is also a prime location for birding! Little Bay has many protected areas for birds that you can enjoy while walking along the water. Rockport is home to many historical sights and parks as well, including the Fulton Mansion, Goose Island State Park, and The Texas Maritime Museum. Please note - we do NOT allow pets. While we love our four-legged furry friends, we want everyone with allergies to be able to enjoy our home.

Additionally, there is a zero tolerance policy in effect for the maximum occupancy numbers set for the home. These numbers include both adults and children ages two and up. Anyone found in violation of this policy is subject to immediate removal from the rental home, and forfeiture of all monies paid. If you have a change in plans that includes an increase to the number of people in your party, please contact us directly.

VISITORS AND PARTIES - Renters are not allowed to invite guests to the rental homes for parties, BBQs, weddings, or for use of the facilities if it is going to put you over the maximum occupancy limits. The house and its amenities are strictly for the use of the renters. If you want to have a gathering with people other than in your rental group you will need to make arrangements to do so at a public place or meeting facility.

CONDUCT - Rental home is located in a neighborhood. Occupancy and use of premises should not disturb or offend neighbors or residents by means of parties, excessive noise, obnoxious behavior, excessive speeding through neighborhoods, discharge of fireworks, or any other noise-inducing mechanisms. Owner reserves the right to terminate this Agreement and evict Guests with no refund or rebate who engage in these behaviors. Quiet time is 10:00pm on weekdays and 11:00pm on weekends.
