Lakefront, 1st floor, 1 bedroom 2 full bath condo on the north shore of beautiful Lake Tahoe just minutes away from: NorthStar, Alpine, Palisades Tahoe (formerly known as Squaw Valley) and Homewood. Enjoy breathtaking views from your own private deck while warming up by the woodburning fireplace or relax using the community sauna aprĂšs ski. Chinquapins gated community is located in Carnelian Bay Ca. This quaint community is the perfect Tahoe Vacation. This getaway is just steps to the lake with incredible amenities: 6 tennis courts, 1 lakefront tennis court, fenced-in pool, 2 piers, buoy rental available, volleyball, bocce ball, kids play structure, pickleball, over 1 mile of lakefront walking path, and less than 12 miles away from 4 ski resorts Primary Suite is a large comfortable bedroom with a walk-in closet. Remodeled, well-furnished kitchen with all new kitchen items including a Keurig coffee brewer. Large dining room table, large living room with stone fireplace (wood provided), pull-out sofa bed, two new flatscreen smart TVs to stream your favorite shows , high-speed WIFI, blue tooth music source, and games at the house. The private deck has new patio furniture and a BBQ. Monthly/Seasonal rental is also available. Note stairs are required to enter the unit, not handicap accessible. Snow removal is included.

This was a wonderful experience for my husband and I. Sean was very prompt about communication even though he was out of the country. The location was spectacular, views were beautiful. We took a stroll on the path lining the lake, hung out in the beach and the view of the sunrise was breathtaking. We would definitely stay at this location again if we are in the area.

Lake Tahoe family trip July 2025

This was an incredible vacation! Sean was very attentive and made us feel right at home during our stay! He responded very quickly to any questions or concerns we had. The view from this house was stunning! It was the perfect distance from town and the community was perfect for our kids to run around and feel safe. We would recommend this property to anyone but especially to families with young kids. It was an unforgettable trip! We would love to return!

Peaceful lakefront stay

Gorgeous view of the lake from this condo! Filled with light, spent every morning having coffee on the deck, surrounded by huge pine trees while overlooking the lake. Very quiet neighborhood!Plenty of space for the two of us. Kitchen so well stocked we prepared meals easily. Enough dishes, pots, pans, utensils to prepare a meal and a dining table that seats 6-8. Sean (owner) was very responsive and easy to work with.

Beautiful view

We really enjoyed our stay. Grounds were amazing. Views and lots of privacy. Kitchen well appointed, bedroom is very large. Internet was an issue. Streaming was near impossible. Gal upstairs was very nice but her bird feeder made the patio unusable. Patio was very dirty when we arrived. Maybe it’s an CA thing, almost no water pressure. Everything else was well above expectations. Great path near the Lake to enjoy as well.

Beautiful View, Comfortable Stay

As others mentioned, the bed was very comfortable. The condo is rustic and takes a bit to warm up in the winter. Overall great stay. It was nice to have access to the lake for a polar plunge!

Awesome getaway

Our stay at Sean's apartment was incredible. First off, the views from the living room and back porch are pretty sweet. I expected a good view from the pictures but it was even more impressive than I expected. The apartment was very clean and the checkout instructions were super straightforward. We didn't do too much cooking so can't comment on kitchen appliances but it seemed like the kitchen had everything you could possibly need to cook a nice meal. The bedroom was very spacious with a gigantic, comfy bed. Chinquapin is super close to downtown Tahoe city (about a 7 min drive) with plenty of options for restaurants and shops, but it was also really nice being in this secluded, gated community that felt very tucked away from the busier downtown area. Parking right in front of the unit was never an issue. Also, easy access the lakeside tennis court on the property was a big plus. Really didn't have any issues or complaints at any point but Sean texted me as soon as we checked in and made it clear I shouldn't hesitate to text w/ questions or concerns. Would 100% stay in this spot again for our next trip to Tahoe.

Just like Home!

Nice condo in a great location, great view with all the amenities of home. It had the most comfortable bed I have ever slept in [even my own, LOL] Sean the owner was great. We had an issue when we checked in and he got right on it to rectify the problem. I wouldn't hesitate to rent again.

Fabulous stay!

Condo and property exceeded our expectations! Steps to the water. Property was quiet, very well maintained and many options for lounging along the water. There os a well groomed sand beach onsite. We had a kayak delivered and paddled right out of the back of the condo. Only a short drive into Tahoe City for dining, shopping, marina and public beaches. Owner was very resopnsive and easy to work with. Highly recommend this rental.

Great Views!!

Loved this place! Great views of the lake every morning. The grounds are wonderful as well to explore, so much history there. Quality kitchen amenities. Made cooking onsite very easy.
