After staying a night the property left a bad taste. We tried to overlook some things but the negatives started adding up. We have rented many properties but this one was just okay. Had to ask for more than one towel per person, pots very dirty, pillows and some beds were uncomfortable, air conditioning was inadequate in the main house and no outside recreational toys to enhance the property. The worst part was when my 86 year old aunt and 5 older cousins stopped at the house for 2 hours who lived in the area. The owners through their exterior cameras surveilled the area and called the police. It was petty and insulting. Their claim was we were over occupying the property. The extra guests didn’t stay long enough for any extra use of the property. As beautiful as Seneca Lake is we will not be going back.

Combination to the door provided was incorrect, leaving us outside in the pouring rain. We had additional housing at a cabin down the street which was handy. Despite only 12 people staying at this address, there are watching you on cameras and the called me about being over the 16 person limit. When I attempted to discuss this with property management prior to our arrival they stated that the neighbors are likely to complain. I don’t think any neighbors called as they were having a party and didn’t seem to notice us. The rule about number of vehicles seems extreme, as there is plenty of room, and if you really had 16 people, six car spots are not enough.There was not one kitchen towel, and the bath towels were minimal. Signs say keep off the grass. What if you had small children? The fire pit on the deck didn’t work.The last night there was some crazy freight train loud noise coming from behind locked owners doors which woke us up at 2 am for at least an hour.The house is big with decent furniture. We enjoyed the deck, hot tub and dock. I have rented many homes over the last 20 years, for the extreme price this place isn’t worth it
