Log Home Clarks Hill Lake - Great for family vacations

The Lakeside Lodge is a 3700 square foot lakefront Tennessee log home tucked away among tall pine trees on 1 acre of land. This luxurious lake front home offers seclusion and privacy. Staying at the Lakeside Lodge is a unique vacation experience. A private dock and a lake life experience that can be enjoyed all year round. Daytime fun can include boating, fishing, swimming and kayaking right off the private dock located in the backyard. In the evening enjoy a fun game of corn hole or badminton in the yard, pool or ping pong in the den, capped off with roasting marsh mellows at night over the fire pit.

The home is spacious. The open living room is flanked by premium windows and French doors, has wide board heart pine floors and is topped off with a grand cathedral ceiling. Fall and winter guests can warm up to a cozy fire by either of the 2 wood burning stone fireplaces. You can enjoy your morning coffee by stepping out onto one of 2 decks looking over the lake. The dining area includes seating for 9 inside plus a picnic style table on the screened porch with seating for 10.

The primary bedroom is located on the main level and features a king size bed and a large bath with jetted tub, walk in shower, dual vanities and separate water closet. The upstairs loft overlooks the living area and includes two queen sized beds. There are two additional bedrooms upstairs, each with a private half bath and a shared jack & jill shower room. The basement includes a bunk style bedroom with three bunk beds.

Walk out the basement doors to a grassy backyard with a gradual slope to the water and deck. Inside there are 3 pub style high tables for puzzles, games or hanging out and a pool/ping pong table. There is also a sectional sofa, large TV, wet bar and additional refrigerator.

The covered private dock can accommodate a pontoon style boat. A boat is NOT included in your stay, but guests can bring their own boat or rent one from any of the nearby marinas There are 4 kayaks (2 double, 2 single), life jackets and tubes for guests to use during their stay. You may bring your own permitted lake toys too! The Lakeside Lodge is located on the Georgia side of Clarks Hill/J. Strom Thurmond Lake.
