Cabane en rondins au bord du lac

Notre chalet est situé sur le lac Thurmond qui est le plus grand lac artificiel à l'est du Mississippi. C'est un excellent emplacement pour une escapade d'un week-end ou des vacances. En plus du lac, nous avons 50 miles de sentiers de randonnée et de vélo, 3 terrains de golf au bord du lac, de la pêche et de la chasse. Cette zone convient toute l'année. L'été a l'avantage de l'eau chaude dans le lac pour les sports nautiques mais les autres saisons ont l'avantage de températures agréables pour toutes les autres activités.

Si vous avez un bateau, vous pouvez le lancer à quelques pâtés de maisons de la cabine et l'amarrer à notre quai couvert. Si vous n'avez pas de bateau, la Marina Savannah Lakes Marina à proximité loue de nouveaux bateaux pontons de 24 pieds.

La cabane est une belle cabane en rondins de deux étages dans un cadre sauvage, assise sur 300 pieds de rivage. Il est de 1500 pieds carrés, avec 3 chambres et 2 salles de bain équipées de toutes les commodités. Il a également une grande enveloppe autour du pont, un bain à remous pour 6 personnes intégré dans le pont et une vue qui s'étend sur plusieurs miles de lac.

Des privilèges de golf sont disponibles pour plusieurs parcours de golf exceptionnels à proximité, la pêche dans un demi-mile de la cabine est exceptionnelle et il y a un nouveau sentier de randonnée, de vélo et de kayak de 50 miles de long à seulement quelques miles. Que vous recherchiez des sports nautiques, du golf, un endroit idéal pour de longues promenades ou des balades à vélo, ou tout simplement un cadre magnifique pour se détendre et profiter, c'est un endroit idéal pour passer une semaine ou un week-end. Et pour les fans de Masters, la cabine est à environ 40 minutes en voiture du Masters Golf Tournament à Augusta, GA.


Veuillez garder à l'esprit lors de la réservation de cette cabane qu'elle est située dans un quartier résidentiel calme au bord du lac et ne convient pas aux groupes de plus de 8 à 10 personnes. Par exemple, une réunion de classe ou une réunion de famille serait inappropriée. Il existe de nombreux parcs d'État à proximité adaptés à de tels rassemblements.

This idyllic location was a "home away from home" for our family vacation! We spent wonderful, relaxing hours on the spacious deck and dock (our favorites!); both outside and in the cabin we had everything we needed and more. The host, Scott, was super communicative, very hospitable, and helpful and accommodating to us in every way. Would love to stay here again!

Not as clean as I would have liked but we made do. There was a blanket on one of the downstairs beds that was not clean at all…Scott was very accommodating and easy to work with. The old gas grill had died so a new one was installed while we were at the Masters on Thursday. The lake view was nice but not quite as beautiful as in the pictures (plus they are clearly in a drought—the lake was down probably 6-10’) and as far as we could tell, there was no dock associated with the house. The porch though was really great—lots of seating. We spent the majority of our time out there once it warmed up. Large picnic table held all of us for meals. The house itself was tight for 7 adults and a 4-year-old but we made it work. It would be great for a smaller family.

Great Lakeside Getaway

We were very impressed with the beautiful wraparound porch and spent most of our time there overlooking the lake. Beautiful property that was even prettier than advertised. Great to have ready access to our boat with the private dock. Five stars all around!

Most Favorite Family Vacation Spot

This was our second time staying at this cozy cabin! We adore everything about it, and plan on this becoming a once a year tradition! Yearly Family lake trip

The location of this property for us is great. It’s close to Savannah lakes, Elijah Clark and Soap creek. The back porch is probably our favorite part. We actually thought about sleeping there a couple nights. Great Place!!

Fishing is fantastic less than half a mile from the cabin, and for those who love to golf, you’ll be close to some of the best family-friendly courses around.

Whether your crew is into water sports, trail exploring, or simply relaxing together in a beautiful natural setting, this cabin is the perfect base for family fun.
