The cottage features a modern double BR with queen sized bed (Kids bed/Baby cot possible), living area with fold out sofa, TV with Hard drive, open plan kitchen, fridge-freezer, microwave, kettle, toaster, double hotplate & cooking equipment, all cutlery & crockery, a modern bathroom & walk in shower, a private Veranda with stunning mountain view, Eating place & Reading corner.
The large covered outdoor area extends your home away from home. It is perfect for breakfast or BBQ, entertaining friends or for relaxing, reading, writing post cards...

Included in your stay is fresh tropical fruit from the farm as well as eggs from our own hens & local honey and home-made jam + drinking coconuts (Nu)
Our bicycles (a bit old but working well) can be used without charge
Where you are:
We are only 2km from famous Muri Beach. Just walk along the back road, or use the bicycles. The Supermarket with Bus stop and the famous "Vili's Burger Joint" is
just 300m away. The Ocean is 350m away, so the sound of the waves is always present.

Our farm is located in the back of the village Matavera on the east side of the island. It´s a rural village with working farms and not many tourists. The coral reef comes here almost all the way to the shore, so our beach down the road is good for walking, watching hermit crabs and enjoying the ocean spray. The next very good swimming beach is only 2km away in Muri. You are welcome to use our bicycles (old but working); or walk along the back road. There is a public bus every hour, stopping only 300m from our property.
We provide fresh tropical fruit from the farm, eggs from our own chicken, home made jams and local honey for your breakfast.

On Saturdays is the islands Market day in Main town Avarua where you will find a large variety of local food, home made goods and entertainment.
You have access to the entire farm. You can visit our pig Lulu, feed bananas to the goats or grab some pawpaw from the trees. Muri is the nearest village. It´s a "mini town" with resorts, restaurants, cafes, entertainment, the famous night market, and of course its beautiful swimming beach. Exploring the island is easy by bus, or you rent a scooter or even a car. We are happy to assist with information and all bookings and reservations.

Good to know:
Matavera is a farm village. There could be animal noise or sometimes an early tractor. The property is very safe. There are 3 cottages all together located on our large property, one 2BR cottage and two 1BR cottages, all with outdoor living areas and BBQ. For group bookings please contact us to get a special price.
