Enjoy your stay away from town with this cozy modern cabin located in the foothills of Wintergreen. The home is equipped with both indoor and outdoor wood burning first pits, 2-level exterior deck, pool table, and many close by amenities. You'll be located less than 1 miles from Bold Rock and Devils Backbone or a 10 min drive to Wintergreen Skiing/Snowboarding/Spa. We look forward to you staying with us at The Cabin! **Please note that the 3rd bedroom is a nook with a privacy screen and this location requires climbing stairs to enter the home**

Perfect Location

The location is perfect for anyone looking to walk an easy trail. Plenty of different options to walk to the Rockfish Valley trail.

Perfect spot off Nelson 151

We were looking for a getaway close to Bold Rock and wineries and theirs was the perfect spot! Easy access to Nelson 151 and all Nellysford has to offer.

Love this property!

This is our second stay with family at this property. The hosts are quick with communication, even over a holiday! We enjoy this spot as it’s close to restaurants, breweries, and wineries, but far enough out you enjoy a secluded vacation.

Great Cabin Near Wintergreen

We loved staying at this cabin. Came for a get together with family over the holidays. It rained most of the days we were there so we stayed in the house pretty much the whole trip, but the house was perfect for that! I had no issues with this rental and would definitely stay again.

Loved our stay at the cabin!

We loved everything about our stay at this cabin! We travelled with one other couple and our kids and it was the perfect amount of space for us. The cabin has everything you need for a comfortable stay and the hosts were great. The location was also perfect! We spent our days hiking and exploring the area in the mornings, followed by stopping at one of the very close by local breweries each day for a late lunch, and cooking dinners at the house. We will definitely look to stay here again our next time in the area.

Great location for all local activities

We had a great weekend at this property! It is a close drive to many breweries, cideries, vineyards as well as hiking trails. The game room in the basement is a fun bonus! The hosts were responsive and prompt if needed.

Charming house near wintergreen

My wife and I and our two dogs enjoyed staying in this well-stocked and very private home near wintergreen. We were joined by two adult children and there was plenty of room for all. We took the dogs on walks in the nearby parks and enjoyed the local shops and restaurants. Highly recommend.

Beautiful secluded home in a great location

Our family loved the house and it’s proximity to breweries and wineries. Everything we needed was stocked, the place was very clean, and the beds were comfortable. Agree with other reviewers that pictures don’t do it justice.

Above and beyond accommodations

What a wonderful hideaway cabin this is. It was a great location for skiing and getting away. When we arrived, we were pleasantly surprised to have so many conveniences already supplied for us. The house was perfect for us - 1 bedroom upstairs for the parents and all the kids downstairs! The house is updated and had everything we needed. Our dog had a blast investigating the woods that surround the home. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit!

Quiet getaway

We absolutely loved staying in this home. It was secluded and very spacious home. We loved hanging out in the card room and game room. The views were awesome, it was clean and we brought our dogs as well. There is a loop trail nearby where we went with the dogs to walk. It is a steep driveway as noted in listing but not terrible. We had AWD and it was easy. Location is great since it’s super close to Bold Rock and Devils Backbone as well as some distilleries. We would love to come back again sometime!

The pictures don't do this "cabin" justice. It's fantastic!

This so-called "cozy cabin" is in fact a very comfortably sized house. It's up-to-date throughout, well-stocked with necessities, and VERY clean. We echo Robin's and Maxine's comments, and add that the master bathroom is huge, with a large, comfortable shower. We also loved the roomy screened-in porch (as did our kitty, Lucy), and enjoyed coffee there every morning. Definitely worth a 5-star rating! One note: the TVs are Internet/streaming based (no cable).

Perfect Spot in the Woods

This cabin is perfect! We came to town for a Jeep Fest at Bold Rock, and the location couldn't have been better. We were only a few minutes from the event. It was a rainy weekend, and we still got to spend the bulk of it outside on the amazing screened in porch oft the kitchen. It felt like we were literally in the middle of the trees. The windows in the house are so beautiful. They don't even need pictures on the walls, because you can see nothing but trees from every angle. The host was very responsive when I reached out. We highly recommend this cabin, and hope to have the opportunity to go back in the future.

Group House 8-12

Well appointed, roomy house with modern fixtures and appliances. Master bed and bath are exceptional...shower is really high-tech. Plenty of room to have cocktails and meals in nice ambience. Close to Rockfish Valley attractions such as breweries, ciders, restaurants, and ice cream shop. Excellent for 2 adult couples and some kids.

Perfect spot in the woods!

We loved this spot in the woods! The cabin is really well furnished including everything you could think of in the kitchen. Close to shopping, food and the resort, quiet, and super communicative hosts - we hope to visit again.

Nellysford Gem

Beautiful home in Nellysford,VA. Convenient to wineries, cider yes, and breweries. This home has 2 spacious bedrooms with king size beds on opposite ends of the hind for privacy. Downstairs is a “3rd” bedroom which contains a single bed. Home is spacious and inviting. A great place to stay.

Anniversary Celebration

My husband and I celebrated our 24th wedding anniversary here. The home is more beautiful in person than the pictures represent. Spacious, clean, rustic modern, cozy and comfortable furniture. The hosts left plenty of firewood for the indoor and the outdoor fires. We loved the welcome gift and grocery items left in home. Tbe screened in porch was a favorite of ours to have morning coffee. The king beds were amazingly comfortable. We loved the location. It feels far away while still being close to restaurants and hiking. We loved the privacy. We saw deer and unique birds on the property. The stars each night were magnificent. We will definitely be back to this exact home. It was that great. Thank you for sharing.
