We chose this rental, passing up many others because of the high reviews for cleanliness. The place is a little dusty - especially baseboards, bed headboards, and bathroom vents. This was uncomfortable to say the least, but we ignored it to try and enjoy our stay. Our "villa" had a centipede and gnat/fruit fly problem, and our kids were super stressed because of this. We bought some fruit fly traps, and those worked well, but the centipedes would not stop coming in. Despite calling the front desk 5 times in 2 days, we didn't see anyone from pest control until day 5. The pool area was fun, but it has a roach problem; this is disgusting!! On our 5th day in the villa, my husband and I woke up to a scratching noise in the 1st floor bedroom. It was a HUGE ROACH!! I wanted to run home right then and there! I never in my life will consider this place, or any condo or villa at north beach again, because why would I pay $$$ to see roaches?!! The owner was very gracious and did all she could to help with the situation. We definitely appreciate her efforts.
