Toccoa Riverfront Cabin 3 Bedrooms 3 Baths Private Hot Tub

Located directly on the Toccoa River and in the Chattahoochee National Forest in the North Georgia mountains, our 3 bedroom and 3 bathroom townhouse cabin provides the perfect family retreat. The cabin has 2080 square feet with a bedroom and bathroom on each of the three floors. The bedrooms offer the choice of a king, queen, or full bed. In addition to the 3 bedrooms the children will enjoy the bunk bed and sitting/play area in the loft. The fully equipped kitchen has granite countertops and stainless steel appliances for easy meal preparation.

In addition to the kitchen, dining area, bedroom and bathroom, the main floor of the cabin has a comfortable living room and fireplace. A large screen Roku equipped TV is over the fireplace. Off of the living room is a large porch with views of the Toccoa River.

Upstairs is the second bedroom, the loft bunkroom and sitting area, and a bathroom. Families with children will find this to be a wonderful arrangement for their family.

The terrace level provides another bedroom and bathroom. Do you enjoy playing pool? If you do, the pool table in the terrace level is the perfect place for you! You can watch your favorite sports team on the Roku equipped TV at the opposite end of the room. Right outside the terrace level doorway is a brand new private hot tub.

Our cabin is the closest cabin in the 11 privately owned acre community of River Forest Place. The neighborhood has only 8 townhomes (2 triplex cabins and one duplex cabin) and provides plenty of outdoor space for everyone. The open field area is a great place for outdoor games so bring your football, baseball glove, and Frisbee or soccer ball. The Toccoa River bank is a short walk from our cabin for fishing, swimming, tubing or kayaking. If you prefer a quiet time you will enjoy the serenity of the outdoors from the back porch that overlooks the Toccoa River. At the end of the day you will love recapping the day at the riverfront fire pit.

This year round vacation cabin is a short scenic drive to the mountain towns of Suches, Dahlonega, Blue Ridge, and Blairsville and the adventures these towns offer. Easy day trips to pan for gold in Dahlonega or to ride the Blue Ridge Scenic Railway train to McCaysville, Georgia or Copperhill, Tennessee make this an exciting and restful vacation spot.

The oldest was 87 and the youngest was 2 years old. We all had a great time. Plenty of room for all and a great getaway.

Wonderful Trip!

This cabin had everything we needed. Even though it is far away from just about everything, there was enough to keep our family busy with wading in the river, enjoying the hot tub and playing pool. We ventured out to nearby Sea Creek falls, one of our favorites, enjoyed food from Cooper's Creek store, and drove to Helen for tubing and fun. We had a wonderful trip!

Thanksgiving stay

Property is beautiful and clean. Due to holiday, dryer could not be fixed before my arrival. I had no knowledge of this, but Property manager was helpful in letting me know once there. Love the area.

Duplex Cabin at the river

Great quiet little spot away from hustle of the city. Nice place, close to outdoor activities. Make sure to grocery or shop or plan to drive awhile for meals, etc. This place has everything you need except for what you need to eat. Also, when booking make sure to write down the access code and Wi-Fi passcode from your welcome letter or you will be driving some more to get a cell signal to pull the info up! Overall an excellent place to stay! Very quiet and the area is gorgeous. Book it and enjoy it!

Nice visit

I was surprised that this was a duplex . Not a real problem , but nowhere in the property description does it tell you the property is a duplex . The guest in the adjoining unit played loud vulgar rap music on the back porch , shot pellet guns at the green sign by the fire pit , had two dogs that barked every time we walked in the yard , and parked 4 cars in front of the unit at all times . Loved the location but not the lack of privacy .

We definitely enjoyed our stay it just wasn't long enough to really enjoy the beautiful cabin. The drive out to the cabin was absolutely beautiful this time of the year!!! Would definitely stay again.

Great space and beautiful

Being a townhouse style cabin i was unsure what to expect, but we were pleasantly surprised. This was definitely the cleanest place we have ever rented, anywhere. There was plenty of space, beds, and bathrooms. We loved that there was ample supplies for our family. We were there two nights, there were 7 of us total and we had a great time!

Peaceful and beautiful

This property is a duplex but is so well insulated that we never heard any noise from the neighbors and there were 8 people in their group. Very nice accommodations.

Quite Time

This cabin was very clean, specious, and well stocked. All we had to bring was our clothes and food!! The quite surroundings were a pleasant backdrop to the beauty that the property provided! After our stay, we didn't want to return home. I teared up when the cabin was no longer in my rearview mirror!!!

Great place with great memories.

Is was a great place for our family to celebrate the end of the school year. The location on the water was perfect, not to mention the Deep Hole less than 2 miles away. It was a dream come true for two teenage boys. The cabin was clean and cozy. Couldn’t have asked for a better cabin. I’m thankful for the owners and all the help they offered as I planned the trip.

We have always enjoyed vacationing with our family and friends. As we searched for a vacation property we found our River Forest townhouse cabin which was the perfect combination of a water and mountain experience. Our family of four stays extremely busy with work, school and our sports activities for our sons. Having a true "getaway from the real world" cabin gives us the opportunity to slow down the busy pace of our lives while sharing the beauty of Mother Nature.

Having hiking, water and mountain experience activites right outside the cabin door is our idea of a perfect vacation. The cabin floor plan, which has a bedroom and bathroom on each of the three floors, gives communal and personal space for family and guests. The cabin provides for the enjoyment of swimming, hiking, kayaking, tubing or fishing. For those who prefer indoor activities there is the quiet back porch to view the river, a large kitchen table for playing games, the pool table in the terrace level or the personal hot tub right outside the terrace level back door.. There is a quiet place and a variety of entertainment for everyone.

Our cabin is as close as you can get to the bank of the Toccoa River. The cabin townhouse neighborhood has 11 acres of community property and the rights and access to use the Toccoa River. This outdoor paradise has everything at your fingertips.
