I had a wonderful experience staying here. From the very beginning, communication was clear, timely, and friendly, which made everything so easy. The place was exactly as described, decorated lovely, comfortable, and thoughtfully prepared. Michael went above and beyond to make sure I felt welcome and had everything I needed throughout my stay. His warm hospitality and attention to detail truly made the experience special. I would absolutely recommend Michael as a host and look forward to staying again in the future.

Theater room was nice. Great location. Easy to get to amd from the city. Hair was both bathroom showers. Dirty socks in 2 of the rooms.

Sister trip

I truly enjoyed the home as it was very comfortable air-conditioning was amazing laundry facilities were handy. The movie theater was very relaxing and spacious. All the beds were very comfortable. We loved the access to the swimming pool. We had all to ourselves and used it multiple times. We enjoyed sitting out on the deck and visiting quite a lot, and the cooking area was also used. Michael did well at coming over when one light switch did not work and took care of all of our needs.

House was clean, nice bedrooms and bathrooms. Enjoyed the pool which was clean. I do have to mention some things. Grass was not mowed. Grounds somewhat unkept. Hot tub by deck is very small and not inviting. Deck is in dire condition and was covered with limbs and needs TLC. Grill was filthy inside - we had to empty the grease and junk before we grilled and the tank had hardly any propane. We brought our own tank for the rest of our stay. Theater room has a musty smell. Lots of fruit flies in kitchen & Master bath.

Disappointing property

The property was extremely run down vs the advertised pictures. The lawn was overgrown and pool was is disarray even though host communicated service on both same day as check-in. The pool had a broken ladder and filter didn’t seem to be working. Host was kind but we felt dismissed in our concerns about the pool and an issue with the freezer. Overall disappointing stay and we were unable to enjoy our planned low key pool hang during our visit. The property has great potential but needs some major maintenance (pool, lawn, freezer, dishwasher, back deck).

Pool and hot tub were not open

The house was nice in a good location. The theater room was cool. The bathrooms were very nice but we did find hair balls in both showers. (No biggie). The down part is that the pool was closed and the hottub looked like it hadnt even been opened this yr. Literally the only reason I booked this property was the pool and hot tube. Was told by property owner it was in the original listing that it closed in september but I went back and it is not.

Porter Hurt “Potter” House

Very nice property, pool was spacious, hot tub was a nice bonus. Bedrooms were lovely, especially the master. The Theater was our favorite place to hang, beautiful quality with just a projector and perfect board game spot. Overall a wonderful vacation home
