The hosts were helpful when we couldn't find access to the cabin. The house was well stocked with everyday use items. The only two things we would have liked to see is better, warmer bedding, and better quality pans as those available made it very difficult to cook in. We have a large. local family. The space made it easy to accommodate spending quality time together. And the outdoors were great for enjoying all of the nature with hikes, and time at the fire pit making s'mores. We would stay again.

We had a good Labor Day weekend with my sister and her family at the cabin. The cabin was very clean and beautifully decorated, creating a warm atmosphere. Nestled in a serene location near our favorite boat dock, it was a peaceful getaway. We were delighted to encounter deer and a plethora of turkeys during our stay. With a capacity to sleep up to 12 people, the cabin accommodated us well, although we wished for more comfortable seating in the living room. Overall, it was a memorable experience.

Second year that our family stayed here! We love everything about it! Checkin is flawless. Communication is prompt and attentive. The kitchen has everything you need and lots of space to work in. The location is so secluded yet a quick couple of minutes from the beach. The wildlife (turkeys and deer) were a hit with the grandchildren! It’s just an all around perfect gathering place for a few days of relaxation with the family!!

We had a great stay! We appreciated all the thought that went into the items stocked at the cabin. The main living areas and two of the bedrooms are on the second story.

Yankton retreat

We stayed with our three children and their families. Nice secluded location but close to the lake and many amenities/activities. The house is well stocked in the kitchen and baths.

Great house in great location

This house was ideal for the family to get away for a long weekend. Location is in a great spot at the end of the road surrounded by trees and nature. House was spacious and very clean with everything we needed. Highly recommend.

Great family cabin

Really loved this property! Great location at the end of a lane with lots of privacy. We were surrounded by deer and turkeys all weekend. Plenty of beds for families with kids. Cool bunkhouse for the kids. Comfortable sitting areas and a great firepit outside. Highly recommend this property. We will absolutely book again when we are in the area! Great communication from the owners.

Beautiful Cabin in the Woods

We had a fantastic stay at this beautiful cabin in the woods! Didn’t feel like Yankton, SD at all, felt more like the Black Hills. Plenty of space for our group of 12 - adults and teenagers. Loved the fire pit in the backyard and all the space for yard games. The blackstone grill was also a nice addition- loved cooking breakfast on the deck! We will definitely be back!
