Relax with the whole family at this peaceful five bedroom home near the lake at Yankton. We are a couple-minute drive to the Lewis and Clark main entrance. We are a 15-minute walk to the lake. Our home is a lovely retreat away from the busyness of life.

We have five bedrooms and many spaces to relax and connect with your loved ones. Read a book, play a game, soak in the hot tub, sit by the outdoor fire, or go for a walk in our wooded areas. You will have a wonderful time at our lakehouse!

Our property sits on 1.5 acres of wooded areas. Enjoy seeing wildlife and peaceful, lush areas. This truly is an oasis of calm and peace. The backyard also has a hot tub for cool nights and mornings. Also, a firepit is set up for times to connect with your loved ones.

There is plenty of parking. The driveway is a bit tricky if you are bringing a boat. We will help you with instructions if you do.

Large house with beautiful outdoor area

This house was great for our family. Plenty of space for all of us to spread out and have our own room. Beautiful wooded area sitting in the back yard and in the hot tub. Wish we could have spent more time at the house to enjoy the outdoor amenities but we were in town to see family. The house had everything we needed. We would definitely return.

I don't normally leave reviews, but this property is a wonderful place to stay with family. Our kids enjoyed the ping pong table, the swing and treehouse, and love that the wildlife would come right up to the porch while there. You can get to the lake quickly from the house and get back fast. It is secluded in the woods and quiet. It is a nice place when you want to get away from it all and just relax in nature. The host is Kandace and she is kind and patient. She is forthcoming and helpful when you haven't been to the area before. All her recommendations were hit with the whole family. We will gladly stay here again in the future!

We had an amazing stay at Kandace’s home! From the moment we booked, Kandace was incredibly proactive and responsive to every question we had—even though I probably messaged her more than a few times. Her communication made everything easy and stress-free.The house was immaculately clean, beautifully decorated, and had such a warm, welcoming atmosphere that we immediately felt at home. The hot tub was a fantastic bonus and the perfect place to relax after spending the day on the lake.The outdoor space was a huge hit with our family. The kids absolutely loved the hammock and swing in the backyard, and several of the adults enjoyed them just as much! It was such a peaceful and relaxing setting for everyone.Our only initial concern was the set of stairs between the dining room and upper living room. We were traveling with our grandson, who has special needs, and we weren’t sure how he would manage them. Thankfully, he adapted quickly and learned to navigate them very well during our stay.Overall, this was a truly wonderful experience filled with great family memories. We would happily stay here again and highly recommend Kandace’s home to anyone looking for a comfortable, clean, and relaxing getaway. Thank you for helping make our family vacation so special!
